In the university:
Sonic: Hey Professor, hows i-
Amy: Sonic!!!
Sonic: Ahh cut it out Amy!
Professor: So Sonic, how'd it go with Spagonia!
Sonic: Great! Me and my team were able to go through it.
Ruby: That's right!
Professor: Very good. And it looks like you've already found use for the camera, hmm?
Sonic: Yes Professor.
Yang: We've found out that the dark thing in their heads were the dark creatures taking control.
Weiss: Good thing we were able to notice.
Blake: Yeah thanks professor.
Professor: Its all thanks to my research on the Gaia Manuscripts. "Light shall put darkness to rout," it says. Quite so! It's only natural. I hope you'll put it to work saving people form Dark Gaia.
Everyone: Yes Professor!
Professor: Very well, then. I've managed to pinpoint another Gaia Temple location.
Sonic: Really?
Professor: The manuscripts suggest a temple lies somewhere in Chun-nan.
Everyone: Chun-nan?
Professor: You guys should go see it.
Sonic: And Indeed we are! Cmon guys, let's go!
Amy: Be careful Sonic!!
They went outside to see Tails newest tornado.
Everyone: Whoa!
Tails: Indeed it is. This is my tornado2
Ruby: It's way bigger then the last tornado.
Yang: Yeah, look at the weapons.
Blake: look, there's more seats.
Weiss: Perfect, now I don't have to summon every time.
Tails: Anyway, you guys ready to go?
Sonic, team RWBY: Of course!
In the sky:
Sonic: Good job Tails, the tornado works perfectly!
Tails: Thanks Sonic.
Blake: Guys look.
Ruby: That has to be Chun-nan
Sonic: Then let's go.
In Chun-nan:
Everyone: Whoa!
Ruby: Its beautiful at night and there's food too!
Yang: Tell me about it!
Blake: It's like a China culture.
Weiss: Your right Blake.
Tails: I'll wait over here if you need me guys.
Sonic: Thanks buddy
An old granny came and welcomed sonic an friends.
Lin: Welcome to Chun-nan! I only regret that I am not able to give all of you a proper welcome.
Everybody was confused of what she said.
Sonic: Why, what's wrong?
Lin: Well, you see, our village's most precious treasure is missing.
Everyone: Precious treasure?
Lin: The village elder went in search of it and has not returned. We would go search for him, but monsters lurk outside the village.
Sonic: Don't worry, we'll find your elder!
Ruby: Yeah!
Lin: Y-You would do that? Oh, fortune has indeed smile upon us!
Sonic: And while we're at it we could find the temple as well.
Team RWBY: Yeah!
Lin: Please, you must head to the Entrance Stage this at once.
Yang: Yeah but before we do that, what's the treasure?
Lin: It's a good luck charm passes down for ages. We credit it with having kept our humble village safe from disaster. On the day the planet split apart, though, it rolled away and got lost. Well no matter. Please find the elder!
Sonic,Ruby: Were on it!
In the stage:
Loads of enemies were in the way of the road.
Sonic let's get em wraahhhh!
Sonic hit the monsters with a spiral screw, knocking them into the water. Ruby uses her semblance slicing through the monsters. Yang jumps on the the monster's head and slams her fist into the ground causing a blast. Weiss uses her fire dust burning the flower monsters. Blake makes a fire clone exploding the monsters.
They then saw a wall to open Sonic pulls the lever and they went to the other road. They then saw a pole.
Ruby: How do we get over there?
Sonic: like this.
Sonic pulls the pole closer to him and releases it, swinging him across to the other side.
Sonic: Cmon guys.
Team RWBY did the same thing Sonic did getting across it. More enemies appear on the field. Blake: More enemies?
Yang: We gotta take them out to proceed.
Sonic: Rrrraaah!
Sonic and Yang goes for a synchronized punch launching the monsters back to the water. Ruby shoots with her sniper while Weiss using her fire dust making a fire explosion. Blake uses a fire clone making a smoke for Sonic to finish it with a punch.
Sonic: That should be it for the monsters now.
Ruby: let's keep moving.
The platforms were far away from them.
Weiss: That's far.
Flying creatures were in the air.
Sonic: I got it!
Ruby: What is it?
Sonic jumps hanging onto the creature, swinging back an forth for momentum to the other one all the way to the other platform.
Team RWBY gets to the other platform too and jumps down to a big monster.
Sonic: Alright gang, get ready.
The big monster goes for a blast but Yang stoped it with a uppercut. Weiss, Blake and Ruby all go for a coordination attack. Having Weiss using her ice dust and Blake doing the same and Ruby firing the sniper, a big blast of ice covered the whole monster up.
Sonic: Hey Yang, give me a boost!
Yang: Roger That!
Yang swings Sonic to the monster with a big punch breaking the monster into pieces of ice.
Ruby: Alright! Nice job team!
Everyone: Yeah!
They made it to the goal ring and went up top to see the temple and the old man.
Sonic and Team RWBY rushes for the old man but a big bird with fire flies around the area standing in front of them.
Everyone: What!!!
Yang: Is that a bird?
Blake: Not just any type of bird. It's a Phoenix.
Everyone: What?!
Weiss: That has to be the treasure the old lady was talking about.
Ruby: Yeah but, it looks evil.
Sonic: Ruby's right. It was the good luck charm that protected the village, but now it's turned bad.
Blake: We gotta turn it back to normal!
Yang: But how?
Sonic: We have to fight it.
Yang: Here it comes!
The Phoenix sends out fire features at Sonic an friends.
Sonic: Look out!
They managed to dodge the fire feathers.
Blake: It's coming!
Weiss: I got it!
Weiss uses her ice dust but it doesn't affect.
Weiss: What?!
The Phoenix goes for a flame slam but Sonic and Team RWBY dodges it.
Ruby: We need some way to get the fire off him.
Sonic looks around and finds a big case of water.
Sonic: That's it. Guys distract the Phoenix. I got a plan.
Ruby: Got it!
Sonic gets the water case and waits for the opportunity to throw it.
Sonic: (You got this guys.)
The Phoenix uses her fire feathers again but Team RWBY dodges it. Yang using he missiles to distract it. Blake brings out a fire clone making a smoke but the Phoenix goes through it. The Phoenix was going for Weiss.
Ruby: Weiss, look out!
Ruby uses her semblance getting Weiss in time but they were trapped.
Weiss: Sonic, now is the time for you to throw it now!
Ruby: Sonic, now!
Sonic: Got it!
Sonic throws the water case at the Phoenix, getting the fire off of the Phoenix.
Ruby: He's stunned, now is our chance!
Everyone: Yeah!
Yang uses her missiles attacking the Phoenix. Blake, Weiss And Ruby does the same technique they did before but only frozen it's wings.
Team RWBY: Go Sonic!
Sonic: Arrrraaa!!!
Sonic punches the Phoenix extends his other hand and kicking it. He goes Down and uppercuts it and extends his arms once more grabbing the head.
Sonic: Wrrrrraaahh!!!
Sonic pulls it's head picking the Phoenix up and slamming it into the ground finishing the Phoenix.
Yang: What strength.
Weiss: Amazing.
Blake: Awesome.
Ruby: Wow, he's sooo cool!
Sonic: Ahhhwoooo!!
As they defeated the Phoenix, they go back to the old man.
Sonic: You all right?
Old man: Y-yes, thank you.
Chip goes out of Sonic's hair and sees a ball with a dragon wrapped around it.
Chip picks it up and it opens the temple.
Sonic: Nice work, Chip!
Chip: Thanks.
Sonic, Chip, and Team RWBY goes to the place holder of the emerald. Sonic puts the emerald in the hole restoring the energy of it and restoring another piece of the planet.
As they made it out of the temple, they saw the Phoenix that they faced before but this time, it was normal.
Everyone: Woah?!
Old man: The moment the temple lit up, the beast woke up. It appears he's come back to his senses.
Ruby: Alright we did it!
Yang, Weiss, Blake: Yeah!
Sonic: I see. I bet your job is to guard the Chaos Emerald temple. You must've gone berserk when the emeralds lost their power.
Chip: Well, I'm glad you're back! Want some chocolate?
The Phoenix takes the chocolate and starts to fly away.
Everyone: So long!
The Phoenix goes back the the mountain where it guards the temple.
Sonic: We should get going too.
Ruby: Yeah. It was nice knowing you.
Old man: Thank you so much. I won't forget this.
Everyone: See you later!
As they waved goodbye, there off to go back to Spagonia to tell the professor.
In Eggman's lab:
Orbot: Your dinner, Doctor.
Eggman: Thank you.
Eggman takes his sandwich and eats it.
Eggman: What's the progress on the Dark Gaia- powered Eggman Land construction system?
Orbot: Current status is... 27 percent complete.
Progress is significantly behind projected timetable. Presumed cause of delay... is Dark Gaia's dispersion across the globe.
Eggman: Oh, of all the lazy... Here I go to the trouble of waking that Dark Gaia thing up, and it causes me nothing but delays!
Orbot: Dark Gaia has yet to reach maturity within the planet's core. Ergo, it was still incomplete at the time of its awakening. Ergo, it was unable to sustain its won weight upon its release. Ergo, it scattered around the world.
Eggman: I don't want to hear about its weight issues! So what if I gave it a bit of a sudden awakening!? This is unacceptable!
Orbot: Ergo, this is the repercussion of your hasty actions.
Eggman: What was that?! I'm having a bad enough day as it is... First that professor runs off with the Gaia Manuscripts, and now the planet's coming back together!
Orbot: That Doctor, is the result of the power of the Chaos Emeralds, which you discarded along with Sonic. Ergo another repercussion of your hasty actions.
Eggman: Q-quiet, you junk heap! That was, uh, all part of my plan! Part of the big picture! Where's the fun in having my plans succeed without any challenge?
Orbot looks at Eggman weirdly.
Eggman: Ahem! A-anyway, what's the status of the remaining Temples of Gaia?
Orbot: Eggman forces have currently secured all locations. Defensive preparations are nearly complete.
Eggman: That'll take care of Sonic and his friends for now, which leaves the problem of Dark Gaia. It'd be difficult to collect every piece scattered all across the world.
Orbot: Searching conventional wisdom banks for topical advice... "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." "Slow and steady wins the race." "Nobody likes a whiner."
Eggman: Hmm, isn't there a more efficient way? Some way to, oh, I don't know... gather them all up at once? Wait, that's it! Of course! Eeh hee hee hee. With this... This! All of my plans will be realized! Get ready Sonic, for your doom. Ha ha ha ha!!!
