ALEX SMALLS knows that the city has changed. The three fractions, the vampires, werewolves, and the witches have never gotten along, Alex knows this. Yet there's something uneasy, about the city called the Big Easy. There are whispers, the air has become thicker, the streets are quieter. She can feel it deep in her bones that the tides are changing, not the best but for the worst.

i did some tweaking with the casting of some of the characters on the originals added more people of color because why not lol. also to follow this story so i would suggest reading gangsta's paradise, then dangerous liaisons then this book to understand the au.
