"Ignoring the problem wont do anything other than make it worse, Lee Geun."
Jin was mildly frustrated. For days, George had been off. He refused to talk about what was bothering him despite the many times the boys had tried to get him to talk. At first, they assumed it was the fact that he was unable to perform and pretty much walk due to his injury but then they began to notice the way he wasn't eating, his eyes no longer sparkled and he hadn't had a burst of energy in 5 days.
It was like George had completely vanished and the fans were beginning to notice too, which is what lead to the eldest sitting outside of the toilet that George had locked himself in to get away from the nagging. Sitting on the toilet, he ran a hand through his hair and closed his eyes for a split second.
"I will start singing Baby Shark if you don't open this door."
Apart of George wanted to hear that actually, but the main part of him would rather not. So, with a reluctant sigh, he stood up and unlocked the door before yanking it open. He hadn't realized that Jin was literally leaning against it and jumped back in surprise as he stumbled into the room. George reached out and steadied him.
"Give a guy a warning!"
"Oh! Right. Sorry. Hyung, I'm opening the door now." George's tone was flat and empty, his face completely emotionless. "Too late?"
"A little." Jin closed the door and turned back around to face the younger male, who sat back down on the toilet. "Talk to me. Nothing will be solved if you keep this to you-"
"I slept with Hyejin." Once again, his tone was completely emotionless but Jin saw the way his eyes flickered to panic as he said the words out loud.
The eldest raised an eyebrow, not really seeing the problem.
"Okay? And? Oh my god, is she pre-" He stopped himself, placing a hand on his head. "Is she-you know? preghnant." He muttered the words trying to avoid saying the actual word.
"Is she what?"
"You know....preeeghant."
"Pregnant?"
"SHHHH!" Jin attacked the younger boy, placing a finger on his lips. "The others cant hear us saying that word. So for now we're gonna say it in a very low tone. Preghnant."
"You're barely even pronouncing the word."
"Exactly! So they won't know."
"O-kay? Uh well no she's not...pregnant. At least I don't think she is." Jin let out a sigh of relief. "Then what's the problem?"
George angled his gaze towards the floor. "I-I don't know. I just feel wrong almost like I've taken advantage of her. I don't feel the same-"
"You totally feel the same." Jin then held up his hands in defence after noticing the look that George had given him. "Okay sorry didn't know we were still pretending that you're totally not in love with her too. Damn."
George let out a small cry of frustration and aggressively ran a hand through his hair. He was adamant that he didn't have feelings. He couldn't, feelings meant relationships and relationships meant hurt. He couldn't go through that again.
Jin leaned against the wall and folded his arms, cocking his head to the side. The only time he had ever seen George this conflicted was when he almost left the group and it's a sight that always breaks his heart because not only is George not himself but it brings back memories of the time they almost lost him.
"Fine. I guess I'll be responsible." Jin rolled his eyes dramatically before putting on his 'serious' face. "Look. She's hopelessly in love with you and you do like her back, you're just too scared of getting hurt and the fear of a repeat of your last relationship is blocking you from seeing that you want her too."
George made a face of denial. "I do not-"
"Okay fine. Imma go shoot my shot with her because she's-"
"WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU SAY THAT?" George's eyes widened at his own anger whilst Jin smirked. "Okay so? you're my friend, I get protective. You might get hurt. I don't wanna see you hurt."
Seconds later, a roll of toilet paper few across the bathroom and hit George in the head. Instinctively, his hands flew up to his head. He then turned to Jin and pouted like a toddler.
"DUDE WHY?!"
"FUCK YOU, THAT'S WHY." George's slight glimmer came back and suddenly he was clapping at his Hyung's use of Vine. "Now, will you please stop being a bitch and just realize that you're in love? This slow burner type shit is really getting me down."
The blank stare returned and George stood up. "I don't have feelings for anyone. I don't like her like that. She's my fucking friend and that's all she'll ever be. I don't want a relationship."
Yanking the door open, George grabbed his crutches and hurried out of the bathroom the best he could and headed towards the kitchen to stress eat whilst Jin stayed where he was. Turning around, the eldest began to hit the wall with his head.
"Love drives me insane."
