Megan's P.O.V

I was on my way to Kaden's house and I was a little bit nervous. It had been nearly a whole week since I was here and being Friday Kaden said her daughter was at her mothers house for the weekend so it made room for me to visit her. I didn't know why I was nervous but I was. I wouldn't of minded if her daughter was there but I guess she didn't want her getting in the way.

I had given my driver the address and my security guard was with me until I got dropped off. Payton and Tori we're keeping me updated with what they were doing because I ended up staying with my parents instead of the hotel. Tori had managed to take Payton out for dinner again but she got noticed by some girls who then got a couple of paparazzi involved so we all knew that Tori and Payton were going to be in the media. Tori and I never usually kept tabs on what the paparazzi were saying but Payton always made Sure to keep me updated if I needed to know things, same with Tori's manager Bruno.

"This is the address," the driver spoke as he pulled up to a small brick house.

"Thank you I'll send you a text when I'm ready for picking up," I smiled, climbing out of the car. I made my way up the porch steps and knocked on the door, taking in the old styled house that managed to look modern. I heard footsteps and the door opened revealing the auburn beauty I was nervous to see.

"Megan," she smiled, stepping aside so I could enter her home.

"Hey Kaden," I smiled, noticing we had stepped straight into a living room. She closed the door and we exchanged a quick hug. I noticed that I was a fair bit taller than Kaden, especially because I had boots on and she didn't. I slipped my boots off out of courtesy, and slipped my denim jacket off to leave me in a hoody because I could feel the heat from the fireplace.

"Would you like a tour of the house?" She asked me, grabbing my jacket and hanging it on the rack with other jackets.

"Sure," I smiled, sticking my hands in my pockets as I followed her.

"This is the living room," she began, walking through. I notice that it was quite a large space that was open and lite up nicely with warm coloured lights.

"This is the kitchen and dining area," she walked though a small archway which opened up to another room where the kitchen waa in the corner and a table was situated near.

"And down the hall are my room and Jasmines room as well as the bathroom and laundry," she smiled, as we walked back into the living room. Her house was quite small compared to my parents and even my house back in LA. Although my house wasn't like a mansion, you could fit at least two of her house inside mine.

"You have a really lovely Home," I commented, loving how homely it felt.

"Thank you," she smiled as we both sat down on the couch in front of the fireplace. I noticed that the fireplace had a tall barrier around it. There were photos scattered along the top and around the walls of the room.

"Did you want anything to drink? I have wine, water, juice?" She asked, standing up.

"A wine would be nice thank you," I smiled, she nodded, quickly recusing herself into the kitchen. I continued looking around the room and noticed how spacious it really was. There was a corner that looked like it has all of Jasmines toys and belongings nearly put away into the shelving. In the other corner was a desk stacked with paperwork which must be from her job.

"So how was your flight over?" Kaden asked me, as she placed a wed wine on the table In front of me.

"Good, it didn't feel like it took as long though," I chuckled, taking a sip of my wine. She smiled st me, her green eyes staring into mine. Her eyes were a unique shade of green. They weren't hazel at all but a glossy green. They kind of reminded me of tree leaves in the spring.

"How has school been?" I asked, watching a smile form on her pink lips.

"Really good. We're heading towards the semester break and my year twelves and elevens will be having their exams soon,"

"Do you think they're pass?"

"I have faith in them all. They're all achieving good grades,"

"They must have a really good teacher," I complimented, earning a small blush.

"I just want my students to get the most out of high school and learning before they venture off," she shrugged, still blushing.

"How's Jasmine doing in school?" I asked, remembering her daughter was the primary school age.

"She's uh getting there. She's not doing as well as her classmates but she's improving every day," she smiled, taking a sip of her wine.

"I'm sure she'll catch up soon," I replied. I watched as Kaden shuffled in her seat so her leg was bent up against the back of the chair so she was facing me. She had her arm resting on the back of the chair, her other holding her wine glass.

"Yeah that's what we hope," she replied quietly. I wanted to ask what she meant by it but I decided not too. If she wanted me to know she would tell me. We had a finished a bottle of wine and had shared small talk about each other and she explained some scientific concepts to me that I was curious about. I couldn't help but smile at how passionate she got talking about science. It was adorable.

"So tell me about who Megan Jones was before she was famous," Kaden smiled, leaning her head in her hand.

"I don't know if you want to know that girl," I laughed, "she definitely didn't look like this," I replied which caused Kaden to chuckle.

"I'm sure young Megan was as adorable as older Megan," she commented which instantly made my stomach do flips and my cheeks blush. I cleaned my throat, not knowing why I was blushing. I got complemented all the time about my glow up so I don't know why her saying it made me flustered.

"I uh I have a photo of you want to see it," I laughed, trying to ease the tension as I grabbed my phone out.

"Sure," she smiled. I opened my photos and scrolled till I found the young photo of me and Carson together in our dusty jeans, shorts and farm boots. I handed her my phone and watched as a smile etched on her lips. In the photo you could see my obvious overbite, crooked teeth and chubby cheeks.

"Is that your brother?" She asked, glancing up st me, causing her hair to fall in front of her face. All I wanted to do was tuck it back.

"Yeah that's Carson. He's a couple years younger than me,"

"Is that you're only sibling?" She asked, I nodded.

"We were homeschooled. We literally spent every minute of very day together. We were basically inseparable," I laughed, remembering some of the memories we had shared.

"Why were you homeschooled? If you don't mind me asking," she quickly added, handing my phone back.

"We lived four hours away from the closest school and my parents didn't want to send us away,"

"So you lived in a farm?" She asked, I nodded.

"I was raised with the horses, sheep and cows,"

"You don't look like a girl who was when I first met you,"

"Is that so?" I asked, copying her position in the couch.

"You looked like someone who was pampered into the showbiz but really you're just as normal as the rest of us,"

"Yeah I try and stay humble but the media can twist anything," I laughed, Kaden agreeing with me.

"What's it like?" She questioned. I tucked my bottom lip in thinking about it.

"You get used to it but it can be annoying sometimes when they follow you or spread stories,"

"What's the worst thing youve read?" She asked. I sighed, meeting her gaze, "you don't have to answer it if you don't want too,"

"No it's fine I just thought it was ridiculous the story they created," I started, placing my empty wine glass down, "when I was twenty four I did my final year as a model. There was one girl who I had feelings for and she lead me on and broke my heart," I spoke, Kaden never letting her eyes leave mine, "she told the media that I had forced her to kiss her because a photo got leaked of us kissing outside a show and for a while I had a bad rap because of her,"

"so she kissed you?" She asked, I nodded, turning my gaze to the table, "how'd you handle all of it?"

"I didn't. I got pretty distant and since then I haven't allowed myself to find interest in anyone man or woman because I worry they'll end up the same or they'll use me for my publicity,"

"Is that why you enjoy talking with me?" I looked up and met her gaze, "I mean I didn't know who you were so you didn't have to pretend to be someone your not," Kaden clarified. I looked at her for a moment thinking. I liked talking to her because it was easy and because she didn't know who I was. The fact that she was breathtakingly gorgeous was a plus but she seemed so carefree and happy.

"I like talking to ou because you're easy to talk too," I replied, watching her cheeks heat again, a smile on her lips. I could feel the wine beginning to get to me as I started feeling tipsy, "you just normal. Like you don't see anyone differently,"

"I don't have a normal life," she laughed slightly with a smile, tucking her hair away from her face.

"How?" I questioned, watching her.

"Many reasons but I'm greatful for the life I have,"

"So why didn't you want Jasmine here?" I questioned, watching her shift like she was uncomfortable, "I mean I love kids but I understand they can be a handful sometimes," I continued which caused her to laugh. Her eyes met mine and my heart fluttered.

"Jasmine is something else," she spoke softly, shaking her head and smiling, "she's a lot different from normal kids," I remained quiet, listening to her speak, "I wanted her away because sometimes around new people she gets overwhelmed," she finished, putting her now empty wine glass on the table.

"That's understandable though. New people can be a lot, especially at a youn age," I agreed.

"You know, Jasmine doesn't stop watching that dinosaur animated film. I looked up the voice artists the other day because I recognised your voice," she spoke, which earned a smile from me, "Your her favourite dinosaur in the movie," she laughed.

"Well maybe one day, when Jasmine is ready to meet the voice behind the dinosaur I'll say hello. I'll make sure I'm in costume too," I added which caused Kaden to chuckle, a goofy grin on her face, "so I assume that's the only film of mine you've seen?" I questioned, earning a slight blush.

"I did see the one when you were younger. I don't remember what exactly but I knew I had seen your face before," she replied, blushing even deeper. I couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm embarrassed I didn't know who you were," she replied, scratching the back of her neck.

"It's okay, I prefer it that way because then I know our connections real," I replied suddenly, wishing I had reworded my sentence. Kaden smiled at me, adjusting her position.

"So earlier you mentioned liking girls and boys," she started, "Are you bisexual or?" She questioned I nodded.

"Is that a problem?"

"Oh no of course not!" She replied, her hand fanning onto my knee, causing my body to erupt in warmth, "my best friend is gay, he's the drama reach st school, how stereotypical huh,"

"Very," I laughed with her, "so are you like straight or? If you don't mind me asking," I spoke, feeling myself become flustered under her stare.

"Um I'm pretty sure I'm straight. I mean I've only been with my boyfriend and another guy before that,"

"Would you be with a girl?" I questioned quietly.

"Is that your way of asking if I'm interested in you?" She asked, a smile on her lips. I felt myself grow completely flustered.

"Uh," I stuttered, not knowing what to say. I was completely speechless as embarrassed. I had never been like this under someone's gaze. I scratched the back of my neck.

"I'll take that as a yes," she giggled, removing her hand from my knee, making my leg feel cold. I didn't even realise her hand was still there.

"Um it's getting late," I commented, seeing it was nearly nine at night.

"If you want to stay you're more than welcome. I don't know how far you travelled and the roads here get a bit off at night,"

"Um I'll have to call my security guards and let them know if it's okay, if it's okay with you," I mumbled pathetically.

"Of course," she replied, grabbing the wine glasses and bottles. She stopped in front of me so I looked up at her.

"Just so you know, I wouldn't say no to dating a girl but I've never been asked by one," she smiled at me before heading into the kitchen. I opened my mouth, feeling my face heat up again. I couldn't believe this woman. I quickly dialled Payton's number hoping she wasn't busy.

"Megan, what's going on?" She asked tiredly though the phone.

"I was wondering if you could let the guards and driver know I'll be staying at Kaden's house,"

"Is that so?" She dragged out, I could hear the smile in her voice, "guessing your date went well then?" She questioned.

"It wasn't a date," I mumbled, hearing Kaden wall back into the room.

"I'll give them a call and let them know. Make sure you message them tomorrow morning for pick up,"

"I will, thank you Payton,"

"It's alright, don't have too much fun," she joked before hanging up.

"So?" Kaden asked me.

"She said it's fine," I replied, scratching my neck again.

"Well I'm not rich so you'll have to share the bed with me,"

"Oh uh okay," I stuttered, getting flustered again. She smirked at me before nodding her head down the hall. I followed behind, noticing how her jeans shaped her bum perfectly. God Megan, get your head out of the gutter. I shouldn't of drank so much wine. She opened the door and switched the light on to show her room. From what I knkw about her it screamed Kaden. Her room was mostly shades of grey and white with some splashes of colour which made it contrast really well. Her queen bed had pastle like colours on them. Her room was quite spacious and had the view of the back yard.

"You have a nice room," I commented, watching her walk towards her cupboard.

"This is my chill zone," she laughed, grabbing some clothes out, "shorts or pants?" She questioned, holding them out to me. I didn't know if I was going to fit into her clothes because I was a lot taller than her.

"Uh shorts," I replied. She tossed me some.

"I don't know if you'll fit into my shirts," she scratched her neck.

"Uh it's fine I'll just sleep without, I usually do," I replied, earning a light blush from her.

"I-okay. You can change here or the bathroom is across the hall," she smiled, grabbing out shorts and a shirt.

"Uh I'll just change here," I replied, turning my back. I took a deep breath before slipping my hoodie over my head. I was already in a bra and skinny jeans. I was a little self conciliatory for some reason but I told myself it was just like being in a bikini. I stripped from my jeans, slipping on her shorts which were a little tight on my hips and butt but fit length wise fine. I folded my clothes, placing them on the coffee table before turning around and instantly blushing. She was slipping a shirt over her head, which gave me the opportunity to look over her body. She was curvey and had a healthy amount of weight on her without being too skinny or overweight. I could feel myself blushing heavily, my body breaking out in a sweat. She looked at me, smiling as her eyes quickly did an up down of my body. She slipped her shorts on before making her way towards the bed. I followed suite, climbing under the the duvet. She turned the light off leaving the lamp on to illuminate the room lightly. I laid pretty much dead still because I didn't want to accidentally invade her space. She laid on her side facing me, I laid on my back turning my head to her.

"This is the first time I've had someone in my bed besides Jasmine after he passed," she sighed, her eyes showing sadness.

"I'm sorry," I whispered.

"It's okay, it just gets lonely sometimes you know?" She shrugged.

"I understand," I replied. We didn't say anything after that we just looked at each other. I studied her face, allowing my mind to etch her face from her groomed eyebrows, to her slightly slanted eyes. Her mole below her right eye to the tiny scar on her cheek. She switched the light off, allowing the room to become black. I looked up st the ceiling, trying to calm my breathing and my heart. After getting to know Kaden more tonight I knew that I could see myself liking her which scared me.

I jumped slightly went I felt her body moving on the mattress. I felt her moving closer so I moved my arm.

"Is it okay?" She asked, her voice sounding close to my ear. I didn't know what she meant so I nodded and then realised she couldn't see me.

"Y-Yeah," I replied, feeling my body ignite when her arm wrapped around the middle of my stomach. Her head was on my chest near my neck, her bare leg positioned over my torso. I swallowed the lump in my throat, wrapping my arm around her back. I listened to her breathing, trying to calm myself down because I was sure she could hear my heart beating a million miles an hour. I couldn't believe Kaden and I were cuddling in her bed, let alone this close to one another. Maybe this was the start to something.
