Li Shen's handsome countenance had a hint of confusion. He stood rooted on the ground and can't even utter a word. He clamped his mouth shut and looked at the necklace on his right hand. After contemplating for a while, he gripped the necklace tightly and walked towards his car with a grim expression on his face. He turned his steering wheel and made a U-turn on the road. He then drove straight to his home.
Li Shen's car drove through a big black metallic gate adorned with elegant gold designs. There was a thick concrete covered in black Italian granite and the words 'Primdale Regency' was written in cursive with sophistication. Emitting a royal-like atmosphere.

A silver BMW i8 roadster came into the view in front of an exquisitely built mansion. It wasn't that extravagant but it exceeded sophistication. The design was modern and the walls on the outside were painted in a light tone. Although it was grand, it still gave off a homey atmosphere.
Li Shen stepped out of his car and gave the car keys directly to his trusted butler. There weren't a lot of maids around, there were only five of them, a cook and a gardener who takes care of the garden and landscapes. There were actually a lot of them sent from the ancestral house but Li Shen chose only a few and made them go back. He didn't need a lot and just hired a few to take care of the mansion and his daily needs. Managing everything from his home were handed down to his butler.
The maids who were supposed to greet their young master back quickly clamped their mouth shut as their gaze fell on his deadly aura. Li Shen climbed immediately to his study and shut the doors close, making his butler unable to follow him inside.
Li Shen loosened his necktie and walked back and forth inside his study. He had his fingers under his chin, his other arm propped under his elbow. Thinking where did he go wrong with his actions. He paced around the room back and forth for a good half an hour.
Being indulged deep in his thoughts, Li Shen didn't seem to notice the time. He was so confused that an idea came up into his mind and in the next few seconds, he quickly fished his phone from his pocket and called his assistant, Wang Zhi Yan.
He told him to come over immediately without telling the reason why, causing his assistant running on his way to his mansion.
When Wang Zhi Yan arrived, he stopped for a moment to straighten out the wrinkles on his suit and made his way inside his boss' mansion. Wang Zhi Yan was the type of person who is diligent in his work, he was not someone like Liu Feng who always had a goofy smile on his face and throw jokes every now and then. Although he wasn't really a man of few words, he always had a stern look on his face. Making him the right candidate to be Li Shen's assistant.
He knocked three times before he was finally ushered to come in. Wang Zhi Yan stood straight and paid his greetings to Li Shen.
"I want to ask you something important."Li Shen started. He was leaning on his desk and had a serious expression on his face. He called Wang Zhi Yan because he didn't want to deal with Liu Feng at the moment. He thought that if he was going to ask someone, it should be someone who would take him seriously and not someone like Liu Feng. He can already imagine his goofiness and sure enough, he would tease him nonstop before answering his questions. The guy doesn't have the word 'serious' in his vocabulary.
"What is it that you want to ask Mr Li?" Wang Zhi Yan said in the same demeanor."What do you think did I do wrong to her?" Hearing his question, Wang Zhi Yan was stunned for a moment and had a hart time to process his question.
"What?" He asked rather confused.
Li Shen sat on his swivel chair and talked about everything he did with Zhen Wei. He relayed the story in fine detail, slightly leaving some of what happened to them on their first night, giving Wang Zhi Yan a vague hint of what happened.
Hearing everything that his boss said, he was quite speechless. If it didn't come right from Li Shen's mouth, he wouldn't be able to believe the words his boss has said. He might have a hard time grasping for the truth.
Wang Zhi Yan was an intelligent person. He was able to get the vague hint Li Shen left for him. He didn't try to pry into it and focused back on his boss' question.
He was racking his brain on how to respond to his question, but to no avail, he can't even answer him directly.
"I'll just make a call boss. Wait for a while." Unfortunately, even if Wang Zhi Yan had a high IQ, he was poor when it turns to EQ. Wang Zhi Yan had an astounding look but because he was too serious in his study way back then, he was not able to get himself a girlfriend. The same thing happened when he was hired as Li Shen's personal assistant. Truth be told, he had zero experience in love and is clueless about what to answer to his boss.
"Xiao Yi, what should I do?" He complained through the call.
"What is it big brother Yan?" The other person on the call replied cheerily.
Wang Zhi Yan quickly relayed everything that his boss said but kept quiet of his identity. He didn't dare to tarnish his boss' image.
After hearing every single detail from Wang Zhi Yan, laughter escaped from the mouth of the other person from the call. It can't help but laugh heartily at him. It took a few moments before the other person recovered its composure.
"Don't tell me big brother Yan is having love difficulties?" The other person managed to croak. It was trying hard not to laugh again at Wang Zhi Yan.
"No! Definitely no! I-It's my friend." He stuttered, his usually stern face had a tint of red.
"Really? Okay, okay. I won't tease you anymore." The person said in defeat."So... What do you think should I answer him?" Wang Zhi Yan queried curiously.
The person on the other call took a deep breath and answered Wang Zhi Yan's question patiently.
"So that's it?" Wang Zhi Yan asked in clarification.
"Yes, explain that to him clearly and he'll be able to get everything right!"
"I'll keep that in mind. Thank you, Xiao Yi!" He thanked the other person in delight.
"No worries, if its big brother Yan I'll always be happy to help!"
Wang Zhi Yan hid his phone back and entered the study once again. He faced Li Shen and breathed in and out some air before speaking. He repeated everything that was said to him earlier, he explained why and what his boss was supposed to do without offending him.
"So, I was supposed to court her first before asking her to be my wife?" Li Shen asked once again after Wang Zhi Yan was done talking.
"From what I was told, that should be the correct way to do it."
Li Shen scratched his chin slightly and nodded his head in agreement. No wonder why she rejected him. So what would be the right thing to do next?He sat on his chair and stared intently on his computer. As if on cue, an idea struck him. His hand landed on the mouse and quickly navigated the desktop. He opened a browser and his fingers graced the keyboard in swift. He typed the question he wanted to asked and pressed enter. He opened another tab and typed another question. He did it for another few times before he was finally satisfied. His eyes scanned each of the results from the tabs that he opened while clicking those results that he thought would help him.

These were some of the few results he had opened. Upon seeing the browser was packed with various tabs about dating and wooing women, Wang Zhi Yan stood behind Li Shen, his arms were crossed across his chest as he nodded seriously in agreement.
