Autumn's pov
I was quiet and then he took a gun
"I will blow your brains out Autumn then blow mine"
"Get in here Ric" I whispered into the microphone on my sweater, he saw it and said
"Bitch!!" Then he pulled the trigger and I screamed as Kincaid dropped in front of me.
"Hands up where I can see them!!!" The police arrived with Ric and Gideon ran away and they went after him.
I took him in my arms "I need help!!!" Kincaid took a bullet for me. "Help me!!!"
"Autumn?" I looked down
"Yes Kincaid, stay with me please, please stay with me"
"Autumn...I love you and I am sorry...please forgive me"
"Of course, I forgive you and I love you too"
"Take care of April"
"No you will stay alive so we can take care of her together" he passed out
The medics arrived and took him and I rushed to April she's still crying and there are marks on her hand I was crying so hard.
We went to the hospital and Kincaid was taken into the operation room. Kincaids mom, dad, Kyra, Kyle and my dad, Summer and Zach were all in the hospital. Summer came over to me and held me and I cried into her arms and she held me tightly.
The doctor won't allow us to see April so Kyle decided to check on her. They let him in since he is also doctor.
Thirty minutes later they called me into the office.
"Miss Arison, your daughter broke one of her ribs"
Fresh tears came down my eyes, I felt like I couldn't breathe.
"We have to keep her here for some weeks, we gave her some sedetives"
"Thanks doctor"
"Please don't cry too much, Miss
Arison, she will be better in a few weeks"
"Thanks doctor" I left the office while Kyle held me for support
"Autty, Kincaid is in the ICU, one person is allowed to see him" Kyra said
"We think it's better for you and him too...if you see go in to see him" Mrs Salvador added
"Okay" I took a long breath and went in
"Hey, how are you doing?"
"I'm sorry, for everything, please wake up, don't leave me, stay with me.
"I love you so much Caidy, so much, please wake up for me, please Caidy"
I kept my head on the bed and wept. I raised my head after some minutes and noticed his fingers move. I pressed the button for the nurse. She came in with a doctor.
"What happened!?" The doctor asked
"His finger moved doctor, I saw it move." I said
"That's good, he checked him and turned to me, "his locomotive ability is coming back, he will wake up very soon" he said
"Thank you very much doctor, thank you very much" I said
"You can leave now he needs to rest"
I left the room and outside Lara and some guy just arrived and he looks very familiar.
"Autumn are you okay?" Lara asked scanning me with her eyes. Then she looked at my stomach
"The baby is fine Lara" she coloured with embarrassment
"I'm sorry Autumn"
"Nothing to worry about Lar" I looked at the guy and Lara noticed and said
"Oh... that's Kincaid's friend from high school, Mark"
"Okay" I was still in my bloody clothes
Kincaid's friends from his apartment arrived, those guys, the cold one and the flirt. I am not even in a good state to remember their names.
"I'm going home to change and also bring some food for April and Kincaid" I said
"Autumn you need someone to drive you there, you're not in any state to drive" Kyra said
"But Kyra..."
"Autumn no argument" Kyra said
"I will go with her" Mark said, "I brought my car"
"Good" Kyra said and I left with Mark
In the car I gotten into the front seat and rested my head against the chair and closed my eyes.
"Kyra was damn right, I'm in no condition to drive
"Autumn?"
"Mmmhu" I was surprised he knew my name
"I'm sorry"
"Thanks Mark"
"No Autumn, I'm really sorry for everything"
"Everything?" I opened my eyes
"Yes, I drugged you the night you were raped"
Funny enough I wasn't angry, just confused.
"Why" it was more of a whisper
"It's kind of a ritual for the guys in the football team. You were just unfortunate to be there"
"But that didn't stop Kincaid from doing what he wanted to do" Mark stopped the car and faced me
"He didn't want to do it...hell he did because you were the one!!" He yelled
"What the fuck are you talking about!?" I yelled back
"Kincaid, he said he didn't want to be part of the ritual anymore, so he would sleep with any girl we choose to stop being part of the ritual.
"So I chose you, I didn't know you were the one, hell nobody knew. We all told Kincaid he had to do it this last time before we let him go" he cleared his throat
"He said no, the rule is if he said no the whole football team will take turns fucking her, he said whatever but stopped when you stirred he looked at a necklace on your neck. Then he said wait.
"I said he can't do it and we can't either but we refused and then he did it"
I can't believe it. "You're lying to me"
"There's no need to lie to you Autumn"
"Why?"
"Life is too short, you never know what will happen the next second"
"Yeah..."
"So I'm really very sorry, don't hate Kincaid just forgive him, it's my fault, he loves you and I know you do too"
"Thanks Mark, for telling me this" I was supposed to feel angry, hurt and sad but I wasn't rather I was thankful that Mark told me this. Kincaid kind of saved and destroyed me
"You're welcome"
"You're a good person Mark"
"I'm not really a good person"
He continued driving while I kept my head back and closed my eyes again.
Ten minutes later he was honking at my gate but no one came out. The gate didn't even open. I got down to check it. After imputing the code it opened I walked in while Mark drove in.
Inside I called Ric but it went directly to voicemail. I gave up and turned to Mark.
"I will go shower and get ready so we can get back to the hospital"
"Sure and Autumn I'm sorry" I was really feeling bad because he kept apologizing I stepped forward and held his hands.
"It's okay Mark I forgive you"
"Thank you" there were tears in his eyes.
"I will go shower" I went upstairs as I was showering I heard movement downstairs and voices but I continued showering.
After showering I dressed up and brought down my blue box, I have my old stuff there including that necklace Kincaid gave me then. I took the necklace and wore it, I looked at my reflection in the mirror and smiled as I touched the S.
It was awfully quiet when I went down
"Mark! Mark??" He didn't answer. I picked up my phone. Then I heard a voice that froze me.
"Hey Autty, miss me?"
"Gi...Gi... Gideon!" I took a step back and he took a step forward...slowly I was going back while he was coming forward until I hit something solid like a chest.
Kincaid's pov
"Kincaid!!!" Autumn yelled
"Autumn? Autumn where are you?"
"Help me!!"
"Autumn?!!" I opened my eyes slowly, I looked around I was in a room.
The door opened and a nurse came in and she rushed out and called the doctor.
"How are you doing, Mr Salvador"
"G...ood" my voice was sore
"Thank goodness you are awake" after a few minutes Kyra, Lara, Summer and Kyle came in, I was disappointed Autumn wasn't with them
"Oh baby bro, I'm so happy you're awake"
"Me...too, A...ut...umn? Is...she...s...till hu...rt?" I asked praying that one of them would understand me
"No no, she's not, she has actually been here since you were admitted but she went home to get changed" Summer who seemed to have understood me said
"Speaking of Autumn, she's been gone for a long time" Lara said
"That's why I told her to go with someone" Kyra said
"Yeah, Mark going with her was a good idea" Lara
"M...ark?" I asked no not Mark, he works with Gideon. He's Gideon's accomplice
"Yes" Kyle said
I made a sign for a phone, Summer handed hers over to me.
Mark is Gideon's accomplice, he can't be with Autumn. Mark is dangerous like Gideon. They work together!!
I wrote I gave it back to Summer, she read it out loud and Kyle rushed out of the room with Summer while Kyra was calling Autumn's cellphone and Lara was saying it's her fault.
"I shouldn't have allowed him to come into the hospital at first."
"It's okay Lar" Kyra hugged her
Autumn's pov
I turned around and saw Mark.
"Mark you have to get out of here, run and call the police!" But Mark didn't move at all. I looked into his eyes they were sad and teary.
"I'm sorry Autumn"
"No no, not you Mark...no"
"I'm so sorry Autumn" and he knocked me out.
When I woke I was tied up but I was no longer at my house...I wanted to scream fro help but I stopped when I saw another woman tied up next to me. She was knocked out. I wonder if she's dead or alive.
"Gideon please this is not our agreement" Mark said I closed my eyes so they won't know I was awake
"We had no agreement Mark" Gideon said
"We did you said Autumn for Xiera"
"You think I will let both of you go like that?
"Of course I can't sweet Mark, no I can't, how am I sure you won't go straight to the cops"
"I promise we won't Gideon please" Mark pleaded with Gideon.
"No, you decide, you or her who goes first and I don't have all day."
"Please Gideon, she's pregnant she's fucking pregnant please I'm begging you, please Gideon, please" he started crying
I was touched
"Gideon she's pregnant and you took for months now.... please we won't tell anyone"
"Listen Mark when I kill people I let them feel happy, I allow them to choose when to go and how to go"
"Gideon please just kill me please let her go, please"
Gideon didn't respond but I can hear footsteps approaching me. He lifted my chin and asked
"Enjoying the show sweetie?" Then he slapped me hard on the cheek. Tears rolled down my cheeks
"Bitch!!! Why did you do that? You called the cops!! Bitch!!" He slapped me three times.
"I love you so much yet you can't even look at me...bitch!!"
I opened my eyes slowly and spat on his face. He hit me hard with the gun and everything went black
Kincaid's pov
I can't sit here and do nothing, I gat to get out of here.
I stood up and someone opened the door it was Zack and Kyle.
"A woman walking her dog said that she saw two men carrying a woman in a van, she said the woman was wearing a necklace that had a S on it.
The necklace I gave her! It has a tracking device in it!!!!!
"P...hooone, I...ne...ed...my...pho...ne" Zack opened a bag and brought it out.
I started tracking the necklace...
"Th...ere is a tra...cking device in t...he nec...klace" Kyle and Zack looked at each other
"So can you track it down?" Kyle asked
I nodded and showed them my phone.
Done!
They were about to leave
"Wait!" They turned around
"Take me w...ith you p...lease" I pleaded
They snuck me out of the hospital.
Autumn's pov
When I woke up, the woman in the room is already awake.
"Hey" I said
Tears dropped down her face
"Who are you?" I asked
"Xiera"
"Nice name Xiera, I'm Autumn"
"Autumn, help me! I'm five months pregnant, please"
"We will get out of here I promise" I began untying my rope slowly.
"I feel like giving up but my baby keeps me going" I smiled and said
"I'm also pregnant, but it's a few weeks"
"That's nice" she said she wanted to pass out but I have to keep her awake
"So tell me how you met Mark"
She smiled, "I saw him at the party hosted by Salvadors family for Kyra.
"It was love at first sight, he was so shy to talk to me but he did eventually and we found out we had a lot in common so we decided to..."
"Have a baby before marriage?" Gideon said with mockingly serious face
Speak of the devil. Xiera was scared, i was equally scared but I have to pretend so I can give Xiera the strength she needs.
Where the hell is Mark!!??
He dropped his gun on the table across the room and came closer to me. He held my face digging his nails into cheeks.
"Why don't you love me?"
"You're a fucking bastard!"
He slapped me hard and I tasted blood. Xiera was already crying.
He lifted his hands to slap me again.
"Touch her one more time and I will blow your fucking brains out" Kyle said pointing a gun to the back of his head.
Then Zack and Kincaid appeared, Zack supporting Kincaid a little.
Gideon smiled and said
"You think I'm scared of you?" He laughed out loud
"The cops are on their way you can't escape from this"
"You are a fucking idiot"
Mark came in with his head and hands bloody.
"What the fuck happened?"
"Stand back Mark or I will shoot you" Zack said holding a gun
I could hear the sireins faintly.
"Zack don't shoot him, Gideon kidnapped his girlfriend for months now" I said
"That's no excuse" Kyle said and Kincaid nodded
"No, he threatened him and held his girlfriend hostage, just let him go" I said
"No" Kincaid said his voice was tiny and hoarse
"She's fucking pregnant, five months!" I yelled and they were quiet for sometime.
"Fine, if the cops ask, you were with us when we came to rescue them" Zack said
"Thanks" Mark and I said
"Untie them Mark"
As he was untying us, Gideon said, you
"I will tell the cops that Mark is my accomplice"
"And why do you think they will believe a murderer, kidnapped and psycho like you?" Kyle asked
"You all will regret this I prom..." I grabbed a wood near by knocked him out
"Autumn!!" Kyle yelled
"He talks too much" I said.
The cops arrived and took Gideon away, we all went to the hospital.
So Gideon was taken away. Will Kincaid get back together with Autumn?
