"So you telling me that an evil red headed bitch wants Dior to go play house with her or some shit?" Toolie's retarded ass asked.
I rolled my eyes. "No. She wants to like teach Dior how to control whatever powers she would develop if she wakes up." I explained to him.
"When, you mean? When she wakes up." Draco said, not even looking away from Dior. It's been hurting us all to see bro hurting like this and we've been trying to cheer him up but it's like he doesn't want to function without Dior. The doctors say that it may be something they call survivors guilt but fuck would he feel guilty for?
"Yeah. I mean when she wakes up." I corrected myself.
"So do we know this red headed bitch? Like who is she? She just came out of nowhere?" Toolie asked.
I shrugged. "I've never seen her a day in my life. I think she's just some really important lady to people that are like Dior." I tried to make an understanding off what was going on or who she was based off of the context of the situation but I couldn't really come up with an idea.
"I know that she's high ranking in whatever she does." I informed them.
"How you know that?" Draco asked with an eyebrow raised.
"When they had me locked up I noticed that her guards were really scary." I got up and threw my Popeyes box in the trash.
"Scary like how? Like scary to you or scared of her?" Toolie asked me.
"Scary towards her." I sat back down in my seat. "She also showed me a birthmark that she had. She said that in order to like unlock her full potential Dior has to take an oath for it to appear." Draco raised his eyebrow at my words.
"What does the birth mark look like?" He asked me.
"It's a crescent." I told him.
"On her stomach?" He asked and I nodded slowly, confused at what he was getting at.
"That can't be true because Dior has that birthmark." He sighed before showing us the birthmark.
"How?! She said in order for it to show you have to take an oath." I said speaking more to myself.
"So does Dior know more than she's telling us?" Toolie muttered in confusion.
"I don't know but she needs to wake up so we can figure it out." Draco said before sitting back and rubbing his hand down his face.

We were all sitting in silence when Draco yelled making Toolie and I jump.
"What?!" Toolie yelled.
"Dior's up!" He smiled.
I walked over and looked at Dior but she looked dazed. "Dior?" I called her name but she didn't say anything.
We just continued staring and calling her before her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she started shaking.
"Call the nurse!" Toolie yelled.
I ran out in the hall and called the first nurse I saw. "What's going on?" She asked as ran over.
"I don't know. She woke up and looked real out of it and then she started shaking and shit." I rambled nervously.
She ran over to the bed and pushed a button. "Code blue! Code blue!" A bunch of doctors and nurses yelled as they rushed into the room.
"I'm sorry but we're going to need you all to step out." A nurse told us and Toolie and I nodded before guiding Draco out of the room.
"She's going to die." Draco said lowly with his head held down. "And I'm going to be alone again. It's going to feel cold." He continued. It kind of creeped me out because Draco was never like this.
"She's not going to die. Dior's a fighter." I told him.
Toolie put his hand on Dracos shoulder. "Whatever happens, we'll get through it together." He told Draco and he nodded.
"Can we pray?" He asked us and I smiled widely. I've always been the 'Jesus freak' of the group and hearing him say that made me feel included.
"Of course." I said before grabbing his and Toolie's hands.
"Dear lord we come to you today.."

"Unc you need to get your niece, she's out of control." I barged into his office. I was the only one in the family that didn't have anything to do with the 'family business' I wanted no parts of this bullshit.
"Little nigga you better walk up in here with some respect." He mugged me.
"Okay but back to the main topic. Get yo' niece." I waved him off.
"What is she doing?" He asked before pushing his glasses up his face.
"She's abusing her power again." I told him.
"How Adonis? How?" He asked, growing annoyed.
"She put one of my neonates in the hospital trying to recruit her into her fake ass army of bitch ass 'warriors' ." I told him and he laughed.
"Neonate? You haven't made any in a long time. Who's this new neonate?" He asked me.
"Dior Young." I told him. As soon as I said that his whole demeanor changed.
"Should've let your sister kill her. Stay away from that girl. That family is pure darkness." He shook his head.
"How do you even know her family?" I asked with my face scrunched up.
"Her family is one of the five families." He told me.
He's lying. He has to be.
"Which one?" I asked through gritted teeth.
"Berkshire." He muttered lowly. Every family of the five families has their real last name and their cover up last name so we won't be found by the KH (Korowai hunters). Ours is Carmichael.
My breath got caught in my throat. "Can she do the things her father could?" I asked slowly. Scared was an understatement.
"Yes but there's no need to worry. She can't reach full potential unless she takes the oath and had her birth mark shown." He informed me and I nodded.
"So what's so bad about me being around her?" I asked nervously.
He narrowed his eyes at me. "Do not tell me that you like this— Berkshire!" He scrunched his face up in disgust.
"She's harmless! She wouldn't even hurt a fly." I tried to make him understand.
"Do you know what that family is known for? Do you know what they did to our family?" He asked me and I shook my head.
"They kill their spouses, best friends, sisters and brothers just to get rid of any weakness they could possibly have. Do you want to be one of those weaknesses Adonis?" He asked me, now standing up.
I shook my head quickly. "No." I answered.
"Then stay as far away from her as possible. Your sister just wants revenge. I want to keep us safe." He shook his head and walked out of the office.
Revenge for what? How can I stay away when I love her?
