Emma couldn't help but love Julian. She wished they weren't parabatai. She couldn't help but think about what would've happened if she either A. Met Cristina earlier or B. Refused to be Julian's parabatai. Either way she wouldn't be in this mess. She just hoped that she could muster the strength to end this before she destroys everything she loves. But, the problem was, she didn't want to. She loved Jules with everything that she had. He wasn't just kind and caring, but he was strong and protective. He was also gorgeous. With toned abs, shaggy brown hair and eyes that were a perfect mixture of green and blue, which Emma called 'Blackthorn blue' he was irresistible. His drawings were beautiful and he always had characteristic paint smudges all over his hands and face. A loving voice interrupted her thoughts. "Emma. Are you okay? You look sad" Julian asked
"I'm fine." She replied, pecking him on the lips. They were currently laying in bed in the circle of each other's arms. Everyone else had gone out for the day. Emma and Julian's excuse not to go was that they both weren't feeling well. Cristina had given Emma a knowing smirk and gestured for the others to follow her. Emma gave her a look that said thanks Cris which had just made Cristina smirk more
"Are you sure?" Julian asked, forehead crinkling in worry.
"Jules I'm fine," Emma replied. "See?" She brushed her hand over a certain point on his lower body and he sucked in a breath. He chuckled and she felt her pulse quicken. Wow, I really do love him she thought.
"Okay, just remember that I'm always here if you want to talk." Jules said lovingly and kissed the top of her head. "You wanna go to sleep?" She relaxed into his arms, thinking that she could just enjoy this now and deal with the consequences later.
"Why not?" Emma replied in a low voice. Jules' eyelashes fluttered closed and they tickled her forehead. She remembered this one time, when she was twelve, during the dark war when Julian had fallen asleep as he was exhausted after taking care of his family. She had looked at his face and felt a surge of affection, which quickly turned into sadness. She had known that Jules probably hadn't felt the same way about her, which is why he had asked her to be parabatai. She had not known if she would be able to stand being his parabatai. She had thought she was going to stop trying to be. She wanted to be with him, not as his parabatai but as his girlfriend or his fiancé or his wife. She remembered tracing three words on his skin, using their form of silent communication.

[A/N] I know this is a short one, again. But, I just can't think of anything else to add. I think everything on this story will likely be a bit of fluff instead of a full blown fic. Also I will probably release more than one chapter at once
