Jacob shoved the rag back in my mouth, mumbling under his breath.
Who was at the door this time? Frankly I didn't care, they'd managed to get him off me, that was all I was worried about.
I listened. Jacob undid the locks, then I heard a strange noise and what sounded like scuffling.
"Ana."
Matt, oh god, Matt was here, thank god, Matt was here.
I started crying again, and oh fuck I was going to suffocate.
The bedroom door flew open and Marley walked in.
"Oh god, oh jesus, Ana." She said rushing to my side.
She gently pulled the tape of my face and wrists and I burst into tears.
She wrapped me in a blanket and hugged me. Thank god I was safe.
There were still noises coming from the living room, Matt was screaming and it scared me, I didn't want anything to happen to him.
"Ana." He said walking into the room.
He pulled me into his arms and I clung to him, I didn't want him to let me go, he promised me he wouldn't.
"Ambulance." He choked out. "We need an ambulance."
I closed my eyes, holding onto Matt. I was safe, I didn't care about any of my injuries.
"Baby I'm sorry." He whispered, kissing my face softly.
Sorry? What was he sorry for?
I looked at him. "For what?"
"Leaving you."
I wrapped my arms tightly around him again. "You didn't do this."
He didn't say anything, he just groaned and buried his face in my hair.
We stayed like that until the ambulance, then the police arrived.
I had to go to hospital, my legs needed some attention.
I looked at Matt.
"I'm coming." He said, following me to the ambulance.
He held my hand on the way, and he held my hand at the hospital, even when a nurse came in and explained what would happen next, he wouldn't leave and I didn't want him too.
"Ana, you do realise what we're about to do?" She asked.
I looked at Matt and started crying. "Yes."
"Baby." He whispered, leaning over and kissing me. "It's okay."
So while I was examined, he held me. I'd been sexually assaulted by Jacob and the police wanted evidence.
I cried, I felt pretty humiliated and I was sore, from stupid Jacob and his fingers.
Finally they'd finished with me, they sent me to a room, it was private, no one else.
I closed my eyes, I was exhausted and I needed sleep.
"Sleep Ana." Matt whispered.
I opened my eyes and looked at him. "Get in."
I didn't have to ask him twice, he stood up, pulled his shoes off and climbed in beside me.
He wrapped me up in his arms.
"I love you baby." He whispered.
"Please don't stop."
"Never Ana."
I snuggled into him. I was safe. I was safe with Matt.
