"Carnage"
NARRATOR
Previously on AMC's Fear the
Walking Dead..
(Summary of events from Episodes 2 and 3 leading up to the final scene of Episode 3.)
INT. STADIUM CELL - DAY
MADISON, ALICIA, and STRAND watch as a melancholic QALETAQA mourns the death of a brother. They watch in silence and grief, as QALETAQA cries in vain.
MADISON
(worried)
Taqa.
QALETAQA
No. Do not speak a word.
MADISON
Taqa.
QALETAQA
(tearful)
This is your fault.
MADISON's frustration builds up and she takes a breath, holding her rage in.
MADISON
This ain't anyone's fault. It's what God intended.
QALETAQA looks to MADISON, with a sad and traumatic look.
QALETAQA
It's not what God intended, it's
what they intended.
QALETAQA points at the guards visible outside the cell door, in anger and hesitation.
MADISON
I know.
MADISON stands up, taking control of the atmosphere in the room, dominating those surrounding her.
She takes a look at a shaking ALICIA, and places her hand on ALICIA's shoulder, attempting to comfort a broken soul.
MADISON
'Licia, what's the matter?
ALICIA looks up, in shock of MADISON's insensitivity to what was witnessed. She pushes MADISON's hand away, in frustration.
ALICIA
(yelling)
What's the matter? Are you
seriously asking that right now?
ALICIA stands up and walked to the corner of the room, playing her hand on a wall, unstable.
MADISON
Both of you. Look at me.
QALETAQA and ALICIA take a rage filled look hesitantly at a frustrated MADISON.
MADISON
(yelling)
I am not the cause of your misery.
I am the one who will get us out of
here!
STRAND
(cautious)
Lower your voice, or they'll hear.
MADISON
I don't give a damn. Let them hear!
MADISON
(yelling)
Both of you have to put this behind
you, and work with me!
QALETAQA stands up and rushes to MADISON, placing his hand on MADISON's neck, threatening to choke her. ALICIA changes sides and approaches QALETAQA, steadily.
ALICIA
Hands off.
MADISON
Taqa, you're the only one responsible for his death.
MADISON begins to taunt QALETAQA, throwing the blame to him as fast as boomerang.
QALETAQA shows a surprised look, with rage visible from the eyes.
QALETAQA
Is that so?
MADISON
You forced us to follow you on this parade of optimism, to be surrounded by a group of strangers.
MADISON
We could've avoided Lela- we
could've avoided all of this, but you
got in the way.
ALICIA shows a confused look, at MADISON's sudden retraction of words to something completely different, curious of who MADISON was going to mention.
MADISON
You blame me. Yet, I recall a certain
someone begging me to trust them and
follow their lead.
MADISON
Last time I ever follow your lead.
MADISON
Look around, Taqa.
QALETAQA looks sideways at STRAND imitating "the thinking man" and ALICIA staring at him, in fear him killing MADISON.
MADISON
We're all you have left.
MADISON
Are you sure you wanna lose that?
QALETAQA removes his hands from MADISON's neck, and walks away.
QALETAQA sits down next to CRAZY DOG's corpse, and caresses his hair as tears rush down his cheeks.
MADISON and ALICIA hug tightly as ALICIA fears of losing her mother by the hands of QALETAQA.
ALICIA
I'm sorry.
MADISON
It's alright.
MADISON
We're getting out of here, Taqa.
STRAND
(fierce)
Hell yeah, we will.
QALETAQA looks up at MADISON, optimistic.
MADISON
(bold)
And we'll kill them all.
FEAR THE WALKING DEAD INTRO
INT. CABIN - EVENING
NICK, JUNE, CHARLIE and LUCIANA sit around the dining table, brainstorming ideas on how to rescue STRAND.
LUCIANA
June.
LUCIANA
You know them best.
CHARLIE grabs a bag of chips and begins to rush through the bag, evidence that children are srill children, even when the dead surround them.
LUCIANA
(curious)
Will they kill Strand?
JUNE
(informative)
Only if he's weak.
JUNE takes a look at NICK, expecting an answer. NICK notices and responds.
NICK
He ain't weak.
JUNE
Good. We have time, then.
CHARLIE pauses her binge of chips and looks up at JUNE, sorrowfully.
CHARLIE
This is all my fault.
JUNE
Nonsense.
NICK
It doesn't matter who's fault it is.
We need to get him out.
LUCIANA's frustration builds up, wondering if NICK would do the same for her.
LUCIANA
We don't even know this man.
NICK
Known him longer than you.
LUCIANA
(curious)
Would he do the same for you?
NICK
(faithful)
Yes, he would.
JUNE takes a stand against the lovely couple distracting them from their main objective.
JUNE
(irritated)
Both of you, now ain't the time for this shit.
JUNE notices CHARLIE eating those chips.
JUNE
Charlie, can I get a chip?
JUNE takes her hand out, awaiting CHARLIE to give her a piece of chip.
JUNE
Thank you, sweetheart.
CHARLIE notices the "V" carving on JUNE's hand, and an idea circulates in her head.
CHARLIE
June, we can carve that "V" in our
hands just like yours.
CHARLIE
"V" for Vultures, right?
JUNE
Yeah. Good job, Charlie!
CHARLIE gives a wide smile, feeling
useful for once.
JUNE
But, it'll hurt. We only need one other
person to carve the "V" so he can sneak us
in, I can't sneak y'all in since I would literally be killed on the spot if I try to get in, because
of what happened with me and Luciana.
Nick, are you in?
NICK
Yes. I'm in.
NICK sighs.
CHARLIE
I can do it, too?
JUNE
(strict)
Charlie, no.
CHARLIE stands up and begs JUNE to allow her to go with them.
CHARLIE
(reasonable)
Would you rather I stay here by
myself instead of going with you?
JUNE
Yes. Because you've done it before.
CHARLIE
(pleads)
Please, June.
JUNE
(frustrated)
No, you're staying here, Charlie!
CHARLIE growls and runs, in frustration, to her room.
NICK
Feisty.
JUNE
Nick, your hand.
JUNE grabs her knife and veins to carve a V in NICK's hand, causing him to growl in pain.
CHARLIE hears the growls from her room, and puts her head underneath the pillow to avoid the sound of pain, while LUCIANA looks away, in fear and disgust.
NICK
Jesus, June.
JUNE
Told you it would hurt.
JUNE grabs the bandages. She wraps it on NICK's bleeding arm, and looks up to LUCIANA.
JUNE
Luciana? Are you coming or staying?
LUCIANA takes a look at NICK's wound, and reconsiders.
LUCIANA
I can't.
JUNE
Luci.
NICK looks up at LUCIANA, with a very frustrated look.
LUCIANA
I'm sorry, Nick.
NICK
Whatever.
JUNE
We get it, your leg and all. But we
need all the help we can get-
NICK
(Interrupts)
If she's too chicken shit to go, let her be.
LUCIANA walks away, storming out of the living room.
INT. STADIUM CELL - EVENING
MELVIN enters the cell, followed by a CASEY and MARLON present for MELVIN's protection. MELVIN gestures to CASEY and MARLON to tie QALETAQA's hands.
MARLON and CASEY tie QALETAQA's hands and he reluctantly allows them to do.
MADISON
(confused)
What the hell are you doing?
MELVIN
Ennis wants me to have a little chat with Taqa. He'll be back, don't worry.
ALICIA
(furious)
Kill him and I kill you.
MARLON
Relax, hun. No one's killing anyone.
QALETAQA
(numb)
It's alright, Alicia. I'll be fine.
MARLON and CASEY tie up QALETAQA's hands and pull him up, making him stand.
As they walk out of the cell, QALETAQA looks back at MADISON, ALICIA and STRAND. He then looks down to the corpse of his beloved CRAZY DOG and sighs as he exits.
EXT. CABIN - EVENING
JUNE, and NICK exit the cabin door, being followed by a LUCIANA and CHARLIE.
JUNE wonders of why LUCIANA and CHARLIE follow them outside
and confronts them.
JUNE
Luciana? Charlie?
LUCIANA
I'm coming. I'm sorry I chickened out before.
NICK reluctantly smiles, proud of LUCIANA's bravery.
CHARLIE
I'm coming too.
JUNE looks down to CHARLIE, in frustration to CHARLIE's
boldness.
JUNE
No. For the hundredth time, it is not safe.
CHARLIE
(intelligent)
When you attack the stadium and save Strand, it'll cause noise. The dead will come. And they'll find this cabin.
JUNE, realizing that she may be putting CHARLIE in more danger if she forbids her from coming with them but proud of CHARLIE's intelligence, begins to tear up.
JUNE
(tearful)
You're right. You're absolutely right.
CHARLIE
(worried)
June? You okay?
JUNE kneels down, sobbing from CHARLIE's words joyfully but tearfully.
JUNE
(tearful)
I promised your parents that I would keep you safe, you're already growing to be an independent and brave survivor.
CHARLIE
You kept me safe, June. I am a survivor
thanks to you.
JUNE
Okay, let's go.
CHARLIE hugs JUNE, thrilled of JUNE allowing her to go with them.
NICK
Luciana, we may have to run, your leg?
LUCIANA
I'll be fine, Nick. This is for
Strand, your brother, right?
NICK smiles, and hugs LUCIANA as a response.
NICK
(thankful)
Thank you.
NICK lets go of the hug, and shifts his focus back to saving STRAND.
LUCIANA
What about weapons?
JUNE smiles to LUCIANA's question.
JUNE
(smiles)
I know a place. Let's go.
They march through the woods to an unknown destination.
INT. STADIUM PRESS BOX - EVENING
MELVIN enters the Press Box of the Stadium, followed by MARLON and CASEY pushing QALETAQA to the ground behind MELVIN.
MELVIN
(smiles)
Thanks, both of you.
They smile, proud of their hardwork.
MELVIN
(serious)
Now, leave. This is between me and Taqa.
MARLON and CASEY's emotions shift to frustrated as they wanted to enjoy the pleasure of making QALETAQA suffer. They storm out of the Press Box. MELVIN stands as he looks at a tied up QALETAQA on the ground and smiles.
MELVIN
You should thank me.
QALETAQA takes a deep sigh, and looks up to MELVIN.
QALETAQA
(voice breaking)
For?
MELVIN
For making them leave. They wanted to hurt you. They find joy in making others suffer.
QALETAQA
(sarcastic)
Oh, how nice of you to let them leave, then.
MELVIN softly chuckles.
QALETAQA
I let my guard down, that was my only mistake, and it led to Lee's death.
MELVIN
You let your guard down and in the
end it bit you in the ass, huh?
MELVIN takes a few steps closer to QALETAQA, kneeling down to speak to him face to face. QALETAQA looks down, feeling uncomfortable from how close MELVIN is.
MELVIN
You're tough. That's why Ennis
wanted me to speak to you.
QALETAQA
(numb)
To persuade me to join your group?
Right after murdering my brother in cold blood?
QALETAQA
Only a fool would think that would work.
MELVIN
Exactly. That's why I'm lying.
QALETAQA looks puzzled at MELVIN, MELVIN scoffs as a result.
MELVIN
My brother didn't ask me to speak to you.
MELVIN
Can you keep a secret?
MELVIN leans to QALETAQA's ear, and whispers through his ear. QALETAQA listens.
MELVIN
Ennis doesn't even know we're here.
MELVIN leans back and glances at a confused QALETAQA, wondering why MELVIN went through all of this trouble just to speak to him privately.
QALETAQA
Then, why am I here?
MELVIN
Because I want to recruit you here myself.
QALETAQA
You must be a fool to think it'd work.
Your brother wouldn't.
MELVIN
I am more persuasive than my brother.
MELVIN chuckles, aware and understanding QALETAQA's words.
MELVIN
He is a fool. But I ain't.
QALETAQA
Is that so?
QALETAQA knocks MELVIN's head with his head, pushing him to the glass of the Press Box. He stands up, and kicks MELVIN whereas he leans on the surface of the glass.
QALETAQA uses his legs to kick MELVIN's head to the glass multiple times, eventually smashing the glass. MELVIN falls to the ground, alive but unconscious. QALETAQA uses a piece of glass from the floor to untie his hands. Before he exits the room, he spits on MELVIN.
EXT. HELICOPTER ASHED HELICOPTER SITE - NIGHT
JUNE, NICK, CHARLIE and LUCIANA uncover a crashed military helicopter in the midst of the woods.
NICK
(surprised)
Holy shit.
JUNE glances at the site of the crashed helicopter, mysteriously looking clean and uncluttered.
JUNE
Yeah. Found this a few weeks back.
NICK
(curious)
And you didn't grab everything?
LUCIANA
(surprised)
It's uncommon in the apocalypse to find this amount of weapons.
JUNE
(informing)
Didn't want to give them more weapons to work with. Grabbed a few for myself, though.
They enter the helicopter, scavenging it. NICK grabs a rocket launcher, LUCIANA grabs a shotgun, and JUNE grabs a rifle.
LUCIANA
Charlie, you don't wanna get anything?
CHARLIE
Already have a working firearm with me.
LUCIANA
Okay, suit yourself.
They exit the helicopter, walking away from the site onto the direction of the stadium.
LUCIANA
(witty)
June, "I know places" is an understatement.
JUNE, and CHARLIE giggle as a response. LUCIANA notices NICK's seriousness and determination to find STRAND, which is visible within his face expression. He begins to think about the whereabouts of a missing DANIEL.
LUCIANA
Nick, we'll get him back.
NICK
I know we will. Was just wondering
about this man I came across a long
time ago, Daniel. Wonder if he made it.
INT. STADIUM CELL - EVENING
STRAND, MADISON and ALICIA stare at the corpse of CRAZY DOG, in complete shock. STRAND stands and walks towards MADISON and ALICIA, who lay in the corner on the walls of the cell.
STRAND
Probably not the best time to
mention this...
STRAND recalls that he has not told MADISON and ALICIA that he was with NICK and LUCIANA all along, and finds this to be the most reasonable time to tell them.
STRAND
I was with Nick before I got here.
MADISON and ALICIA look up to STRAND in complete shock and frustration of STRAND not informing them on this important matter.
ALICIA
Where is he?
STRAND
He's at a cabin in the woods, near here.
MADISON
(frustrated)
Why didn't you tell us?
STRAND
I didn't think it was the right
time to tell you.
ALICIA
And now is? We're in a damn cell
and we'll probably be dead by dawn!
STRAND
I'm sorry, okay?
STRAND
What are we going to do?
MADISON looks through the windows outside, seeing the everyday lives of vultures as they eat, chat and walk around the field.
MADISON
We have to wait for the right time.
ALICIA
And when would that be?
MADISON
I'll tell you when I know.
MADISON begins to wonder if QALETAQA's state and what he may be doing with MELVIN, and marches around the cell brainstorming ideas. STRAND notices her brainstorming by the way she is walking around.
STRAND
(desperate)
Any luck?
MADISON
Nope.
MADISON turns around to STRAND, she thinks of NICK and how he may have felt after the Dam.
MADISON
What happened after the Dam with you
two, Strand?
STRAND
We found ourselves in the shores
of Texas, we got up and found this
rich ass vehicle and drove around.
MADISON
(witty)
I asked about the Dam, not your dreams.
STRAND
(giggles)
It ain't a dream.
STRAND
Anyways, we found a cabin and met this little girl, Charlie.
ALICIA watches STRAND as he speaks of the events that occurred leading up to this moment.
STRAND
Charlie's caretaker June came, acompanied by a woman named
Luciana, Nick's ex apparently.
ALICIA
(shocked)
Wait, Luciana?
ALICIA and MADISON exchange surprised looks and look back to STRAND. STRAND notices their surprises faces when they hear LUCIANA's name being muttered.
STRAND
Wait, you know her?
MADISON
She was with us for a while at the
Ranch, but left. Chickened out and
ran away.
MADISON
(curious)
Does Nick know you're here? Was he there when you got caught?
STRAND
(informing)
Me and Charlie were on a run, they got
me but Charlie ran away. She probably
went back to the cabin to tell Nick and the others.
MADISON and ALICIA get excited as they feel a rescue team is on their way, but feel frustrated at the same time as they know who they are dealing with.
EXT. STADIUM - EVENING
JUNE, CHARLIE, NICK and LUCIANA hide in the bushes in front of the Stadium, holding weapons.
LUCIANA
You do know places, June.
LUCIANA glances at NICK holding a rocket launcher, anticipating to see the weapon chase destruction.
LUCIANA
A damn rocket launcher.
JUNE
Let's blow up the place. Nick.
NICK
On it.
JUNE pulls CHARLIE behind her, for caution.
JUNE
Stay behind me, Charlie.
NICK fires the rocket launcher, causing fires around the surface of the walls. NICK fires again towards the stadium, whereas this time burning bodies begin to fall down from the wall to the ground.
JUNE
(impressed)
Damn, Nick.
They begin to hear the sound of the dead coming from the distance, whom probably heard the sound of the fires and rocket launcher firing which is causing them to walk to the stadium.
NICK
Let's go.
NICK, LUCIANA, JUNE and CHARLIE march to the burning walls of the stadium. JUNE shoots the lock on the gate, opening it.
INT. STADIUM CELL - EVENING
Explosions and sounds of carnage are heard from the outside, with a worried ALICIA, MADISON and STRAND. ALICIA sighs, and reluctantly looks through the window, a glance of what's happening the outside world. As she looks, the undead appears through the window. ALICIA quickly backs away, in caution and fear.
ALICIA
We have to go, now.
A vulture named MARINETTE enters the cell, and leaves the door open as she entered.
MARINETTE
We're under attack. Get your shit, we're leaving.
MADISON
(confused)
And who the hell are you?
MARINETTE
Ennis sent me to make sure you all
are alive.
STRAND
(sarcastic)
That's awfully nice of him, maybe
we can thank him later for killing
our damn friend as well.
MARINETTE notices that there's someone missing, and begins to panic. She forgets that the door behind her is still open.
MARINETTE
(panics)
Isn't there another man with you?
STRAND
Y-yes.
MARINETTE
Where is he?
STRAND cooks up a plan to confuse and manipulate MARINETTE in the most irritating but effective way possible.
STRAND
(manipulative)
What are you talking about? There
is no other man with us.
MARINETTE
But you just said-
STRAND
(manipulative)
I said nothing. You are hearing things.
MARINETTE
What?
MADISON notices a walker creeping in the back behind MARINETTE, approaching her slowly and quietly with the main objective of devouring her whole. ALICIA notices and tries to warn MARINETTE of the dead coming to her from behind, but MADISON stops her.
ALICIA
Hey, ma'am.
MADISON
(whispers)
Alicia. Quiet.
MADISON gestures to STRAND for him to keep speaking and confusing MARINETTE so she does not hear the walker lurking behind her.
STRAND
I'm afraid you're not well in the head.
MARINETTE
But- I could swear I saw another man.
ALICIA
Marinette.
MARINETTE
Did Melvin-
The walker gets to MARINETTE, and bites her neck off. MARINETTE screams as a response. MADISON grabs a knife from MARINETTE's pocket as she gets devoured and stabs the walker in the head. MARINETTE falls to the ground, slowly and painfully dying with a part of her neck bitten out.
MARINETTE
(frustrated)
You could've said something.
MADISON
And Ennis could've let us go, and not kill Crazy Dog.
MARINETTE
Crazy Dog? W-who the hell's Crazy
Dog?
MARINETTE notices a corpse in the ground, and answers her own question.
MARINETTE
Oh.
MARINETTE
I don't wanna turn into one.
MADISON looks down at MARINETTE, regretting not alerting MARINETTE of the walker.
MADISON
Shit.
MARINETTE bursts into tears, as MADISON, ALICIA and STRAND look down on her as she leans against the wall of the cell, right next to the opened door.
MADISON
I'm so sorry.
MARINETTE
(tearful)
It's alright, this is how people
survive nowadays, right?
MADISON
You want me to do it?
MARINETTE looks up, and browses through MADISON, STRAND and ALICIA.
MARINETTE nods to MADISON, her choice being ALICIA.
MARINETTE
(decides)
I want the girl to do it.
ALICIA
(confused)
Me?
MARINETTE nods.
ALICIA
(surprised)
Why me?
MARINETTE
(truthful)
You tried to warn me, but she and that man forbid it. You're truthful, you tried.
ALICIA and MADISON exchange surprised but accepting looks. MADISON hands ALICIA the knife.
ALICIA
I'm sorry.
MARINETTE
You have nothing to apologize for.
I marked my expiration date when I
joined the Vultures.
MARINETTE looks up to ALICIA, intimately and slowly.
MARINETTE
(quietly)
Don't let her change you, don't let
the evil take over.
ALICIA
(upset)
Goodbye.
MARINETTE
(tearful)
Goodbye.
ALICIA sighs, shakingly stabbing MARINETTE in the head, killing her before she turns.
MADISON
Alicia, I'm-
ALICIA
(interrupts)
Let's go.
ALICIA, MADISON and STRAND exit the cell. Leaving the cell damaged with the corpses of MARINETTE and CRAZY DOG. MADISON looks back at the damage caused, and sighs as she exists, similar to QALETAQA's exit from the cell.
EXT. STADIUM GROUND - EVENING
QALETAQA walks through the stadium, trying to get back to the dungeon but is surrounded by panicking Vultures and complete and utter destruction with the undead surrounding the stadium. Midst of the crowd, a few vultures are fighting off the undead with the help of their shotguns.
UNNAMED MALE VULTURE #1
(yelling)
The dead's coming! Evacuate!
UNNAMED FEMALE VULTURE #4
(fearful)
Where's Ennis?
UNNAMED MALE VULTURE #2
(frustrated)
Apparantly, he's sleeping with a
girl in his room! Marlon went to get him.
UNNAMED FEMALE VULTURE #4
(panicking)
Who the hell elected him?
UNNAMED MALE VULTURE #3
(commanding)
There is no time for damn politics.
Kill those lurkers!
He grabs a shotgun from a dead vulture, whom he realizes is CASEY.
In the midst of the crowed is PAUL and his daughter, JULES. JULES bursts into tears as she is scared of dying, surrounded by chaos.
JULES
(screams)
Daddy. I'm scared, I don't wanna die.
PAUL
(bold)
Jules, you will not die. I will not
let that happen.
A walker creeps up behind PAUL, JULES notices and screams as she points at the walker.
JULES
(screams)
Daddy! Behind you!
PAUL shoots the walker behind him. Thankfully, the core four marches in the midst of all this chaos. LUCIANA, NICK, CHARLIE and JUNE. They march with their weapons, surrounded by screamimg panicking Vultures. NICK notices PAUL, the vulture, and shoots him in the head, killing him. JULES screams as a response.
JULES
(screams)
Daddy! No!
JULES runs away, in panick. The core four do not notice the consequences for PAUL's death as they are too distracted and surrounded by chaos and screaming to notice.
CHARLIE notices all the screaming and deaths occurring in front of her, and fear begins to devour her. She holds JUNE tightly, fearful.
JUNE
Everything will be alright, Charlie.
NICK looks around, and notices QALETAQA killing some. walkers in the distance.
NICK
Taqa?
LUCIANA notices NICK staring at a man in the distance.
LUCIANA
Who's that? Nick?
NICK avoids LUCIANA's questioning and runs to QALETAQa, hugging him.
NICK
Taqa.
QALETAQA
Nick? Is it really you?
NICK
Is my family here? Where is
everyone?
QALETAQA
They're in the dungeon.
NICK is about to run around the stadium to look for the dungeons when QALETAQA stops him to ask one question.
QALETAQA
Are you responsible for this, for
this carnage?
NICK
Yes.
QALETAQA takes a pause, and sighs. He tearfully hugs NICK, leaving NICK puzzled but accepting.
QALETAQA
(thankful)
Thank you.
JUNE finds the corpse of CASEY, and sighs. She tears up.
LUCIANA
June, are you alright?
JUNE
Casey, he was an ass to others but
we were cool. He was the only
person I felt safe being around.
Like an annoying older brother.
JUNE
(upset)
I'm sorry, old friend.
JUNE steps on his head, killing him before he turns.
INT. STADIUM CELLS - NIGHT
ALICIA, MADISON and STRAND run out of the cell and run around the dungeon, looking for the exit door. STRAND finds the exit door.
STRAND
I've found it.
MADISON, ALICIA and STRAND walk up to the exit only for it to open. ENNIS and MARLON enter, wearing black hoodies and holding a gun each.
ENNIS
Surprise, surprise. You think you're
getting out of this that easy?
ENNIS
Close the door, Marlon.
MARLON closes the exit door.
FADES OUT
INT. STADIUM CELLS - NIGHT
MARLON and ENNIS surround a helpless but determined ALICIA, MADISON and STRAND as they have the main objective of making it out alive to hopefully find the remainder of
their family.
MADISON
Your stronghold, it's falling
apart. Yet, you're here worrying
about some prisoners.
MADISON
Your brother could be dead.
ENNIS scoffs, showing carelessness of MELVIN and his well-being.
ENNIS
Oh, my brother can manage. You

ENNIS

ENNIS looks back to MARLON, unaware and frustrated from the situation.
ENNIS
How was I not told about this?
MARLON
(unaware)

ENNIS
(frustrated)
I own this place and I'm not even
alerted on the most important of
matters?
MARLON
Your brother said you gave him the
permission to take Taqa, wanted him to show Taqa your way of life and try to recruit him, he said.
ENNIS
(irritated)
I am not stupid enough to try to
convince a man to join us moments
after we killed his best friend!
MADISON notices ENNIS is not focused on her, ALICIA nor STRAND but QALETAQA and his whereabouts as he is looking at ENNIS and his back is turned on ALICIA, MADISON and STRAND.
MADISON gestures to ALICIA and STRAND, alerting them of this opportunity but they are reminded that MARLON is still facing their direction. MADISON gestures to ALICIA to get the knife out, ALICIA grabs the knife from her belt, MARLON notices this.
MARLON
Ennis, looks out!
As a result of MARLON warning ENNIS, ENNIS turns his back around and ALICIA throws the knife to ENNIS' head, stabbing him in the head, putting him in an infinite sleep. If MARLON didnt warn ENNIS, the knife would've stabbed his back as he wouldn't have a reason to turn back to the group. MARLON is shocked and raises his gun to ALICIA.
MARLON
(tearful)
You killed him!
STRAND approaches MARLON slowly, and putting his hands up cautiously. Cooking up a plan.
STRAND
Careful. You should thank us.
MARLON
Thank you? You are destroying this
place!
STRAND
Put the gun down, we can sort this
out. You can join us.
ALICIA leans to MADISON's shoulder in fear of what may happen next.
MARLON
You killed my best friend!
STRAND
Your best friend who yelled at you
multiple times and treated you like
his bitch?
MARLON notices STRAND's reasonableness, and his tears begin to stop dripping.
MARLON
You're right.
STRAND scoffs as a response, acting proud to MARLON for realizing the truth.
STRAND
Good. Now, hand me the gun and we
can all leave this place together.
MARLON
Promise you won't kill me?
STRAND
(pretending)
Kill you? We're a team now.
MARLON
(faithful)
Yeah, we're a team now. You're right.
STRAND reaches out his hand. MARLON slowly gives him his gun. The gun reaches STRAND's hand.
MARLON
Alright, where is your stronghold?
Maybe we can-
STRAND shoots MARLON in the head, with blood dripping from all sides of his head.
STRAND
Let's go.
STRAND, MADISON, and ALICIA exit the cell with the bottom of their shoes stepping on the corpses and blood of the now deceased ENNIS and MARLON.
EXT. STADIUM - NIGHT
EDGAR and a wounded MELVIN walk away from the stadium, fleeing from the attack. They grunt as they slowly jog to the woods, with many weak limbs making it hard for them to even walk.
Luckily for them, they enter the woods and make it out alive from the stadium. They stop for a second and look around at their surroundings, making sure the cost is clear for them to make a stop and relax.
EDGAR
Mel, the cost is clear.
MELVIN takes a deep breath, and falls to the ground, resting his head on the grass.
EDGAR
(worried)
Mel, you okay?
MELVIN is unconscious, laying on the ground.
EXT. STADIUM GROUND - NIGHT
MADISON, ALICIA and STRAND exit the dungeon only to see a traumatic sight, the field filled by an abundance of corpses.
MADISON
'Licia, be careful.
They walk through the grounds, exploring this broken stronghold.
In the distance, the silhouettes of five figures are seen. MADISON raises her firearm up, unaware of who the five figures may be.
MADISON
Hands up! Weapons down!
The figures raise their hands up, helpless and unaware. They slowly walk closer and closer to MADISON, STRAND and ALICIA, their appearances becoming vivid and distinguishable. The five figures turn out to be NICK, LUCIANA, JUNE, QALETAQA and CHARLIE.
NICK
Mom..? Alicia?
ALICIA
Nick.
MADISON
Nick.
MADISON
(tearful)
Come here.
ALICIA and MADISON rush to NICK to embrace in a hug. CHARLIE hugs STRAND.
STRAND
Missed you, little lady.
CHARLIE nods and smiles. ALICIA, MADISON and NICK break their hug and NICK questions their whereabouts and their relationship with the Vultures.
NICK
What are you doing here?
MADISON
Could say the same, but Victor
already told me.
ALICIA
(tearful)
Nick, where have you been?
NICK
(witty)
Oh, Alicia. We don't need any tears
right now.
MADISON takes a look at JUNE, and CHARLIE and wonders if they should be trusted. NICK notices her unfaithfulness towards the two from her face expression.
NICK
They helped in attacking the
stadium. They're good.
MADISON
You're responsible for this attack?
NICK nods, accepting responsibility for the carnage he's caused and the people killed as a result. MADISON hugs NICK, showcasing her understanding.
MADISON
(sincere)
It's okay. You did the right thing.
ALICIA notices LUCIANA, and rushes to hug her with a wide smile on her face.
ALICIA
(giggles)
Bitch, where have you been?
LUCIANA
(smiles)
Here and there.
ALICIA and LUCIANA break their hug. The group have a moment of silence, with the only thing heard is the sounds of walkers in the distance as well as the wind. They realize they're surrounded by an abundance of corpses and the undead, a broken stronghold with a non-functioning gate and burnt walls.
STRAND
What now?
STRAND looks to MADISON for an answer, unaware of what's next for the group.
MADISON
We rebuild.
MADISON looks to ALICIA, JUNE, CHARLIE, STRAND, NICK, LUCIANA and QALETAQA.
QALETAQA
We should burn the bodies.
QALETAQA walks away to the dungeon, with grief and sorrow in his eyes from the death of the beloved CRAZY DOG. NICK and MADISON stare at him from the distance as he walks away to the dungeon, worried for their friend.
NICK
What's his deal?
MADISON
I'll tell you later.
INT. STADIUM CELL - NIGHT
QALETAQA enters the cell, only to see the corpses of ENNIS, MARLON and CRAZY DOG. He ignores the corpses of ENNIS, and MARLON and walks completely past them carelessly. He looks down to CRAZY DOG. He places his head on the ground beside the corpse, careless of the blood surrounding him. He closes his eyes, and sleeps.
2 YEARS LATER
INT. CHARLIE'S ROOM - DAY
On a wonderful morning at the stadium, a slightly older CHARLIE opens her eyes to a beautiful ordinary surrounding. She hears the voice of JUNE calling her from the outside of her room.
JUNE
Charlie! Are you awake?
CHARLIE
Yes, I am.
JUNE
It's time for breakfast!
CHARLIE exits her room, in her pajamas. She runs through the halls, rushing to get to a delicious breakfast as if it's Christmas and she is running down to the tree to get her present.
EXT. CAFETERIA - DAY
CHARLIE enters the cafeteria, and watches as everyone dines, including three new additions to the group: COLE, VIVIAN and DOUGLAS.
VIVIAN
Oh, Charlie, dear. Come sit here.
VIVIAN asks CHARLIE to sit next to her, in which CHARLIE accepts.
As CHARLIE begins to dine, she stares to the watch tower where MADISON is alone, watching the outside world from above.
CHARLIE
What is she doing?
ALICIA
Mom's paranoia driving her insane again. Don't worry.
CHARLIE looks to ALICIA and asks for elaboration on her statement.
CHARLIE
What do you mean?
ALICIA
She's still worried we'll get our
karma for what we did to the Vultures.
CHARLIE worries, fear begins to consume her once more from ALICIA's words. She continuously watches MADISON on the watch tower.
