Elijah's POV
I opened my eyes as I heard Amelia's cries, I stirred a bit then got out of bed, I checked my phone and saw that the time was 5:15 a.m.
"Fuck!" I quickly went to the bathroom, I came out and went to their room, I knocked awaiting for an answer, as I was about to call for her the bedroom door opened, she stood there looking drained and tired,
"Hey I'm sorry I overslept are you and Amelia ok?" I asked, she signed and gave me a warm smile,
"Yeah we're good, she just wasn't in the mood to sleep I guess and I had to change her because she pooped and peed but she's fine" she said closing her eyes for a bit, I knew she didn't sleep at all from the bags under her eyes,
"Diana how about you give me Amelia so you can rest for a bit?" I suggested, she shook her head and said,
"Oh no it's fine I'll manage thanks for..."
"Diana what you're doing right now is not going to help you, when I offer my help please accept it I'm just trying to help" I tried to reason with her,
"Look Elijah I appreciate everything you do but this is not your job, to take care of me and my baby, you've done way too much for us and I feel like I'm pressuring you into doing things for me"
"Trust me you're not, so give me Amelia and go to bed, I'll be right here don't worry about me taking Amelia far away from you"
She sighed ready to argued but I gave her a look that made her rethink about arguing with me. I took Amelia and placed her on my chest while smoothing her back so that she could go back to sleep.
After many attempt of making her sleep which didn't work I decided to turn on the tv and wait till she falls asleep, thankfully my wrist doesn't hurt that much this past days, now I can do my things normally but just having a cast on my wrist.
The time is 7:30 a.m. and Amelia is finally asleep, I took her to my room and placed her on my bed and placed pillows on her side's. I silently went to the bathroom and took a quick shower then cleaned up, after I was done I took Amelia with me to the kitchen and placed her on her babysit and started making something for breakfast.
As I was just done feeding Amelia Diana came down the stairs looking really sexy and I wonder how the hell she's still in shape after giving birth,
"Good morning Elijah"she said, I just stared at her just admiring, I really don't know what is wrong with me everything just seem in slow motion, I quickly recovered before saying,
"Good morning Diana slept well?" She smiles and giggles nodding her head at the same time,
"Yeah thanks I really needed that good sleep I feel energized" she said coming over and took Amelia from me before showering her with kisses,
"By the way I made breakfast is in the microwave" I said getting up and stretching, ugh I need to go back and exercise as I'm not going to work now,
" I'm going up stairs at the gym room if you need anything you can come over and tell me ok?" She smiled then said,
"Sure thank you! But aren't you going to hurt yourself?" She asked,
"No I'm good besides, the wrist doesn't hurt like before and I'm not going to put pressure on it so I'll be ok!" I said,
"Oh ok " I nodded my head and walked away.
Diana's POV
After a well needed sleep I decided to get up and feed Amelia, I opened my eyes and didn't see her, I was about to panic before I remembered that Elijah has her, I sighed in relief and stretched a bit before getting up, I went to the bathroom and took a relaxing shower before getting out, I dried off, lotioned my body and took out my Brown long dress with long sleeve,
I tied my hair up in a pineapple bun leaving some of my natural curls out then went out of the room.
I walked down the stairs looking at my baby smiling through her feeding bottle as Elijah made funny faces to her, he heard my presence and looked up,
"Good morning Elijah" I said walking up to him, I looked at him and he was like in a trance or thinking of something but he was staring at me hard and it kind of bothered me for a second but then he replied me,
"Good morning Diana slept well?" His voice is so...ugh! I can't even explain this right now, we chatted for a bit then he went to his gym room to exercise, I turned around and took Amelia out to walk around and see the house properly, he had a very beautiful and spacious backyard with a colorful garden, I went closer to the garden and saw my favorite flower, red phonies, I placed Amelia on the green trimmed grass,
" Mon bebè look! this is mama's favourite flower!" I said happily, she smiled a little while staring at me, I laughed at her cuteness,
" I know you're not understanding what I'm saying" and she kept smilling,
"I'm bored so we are going to go somewhere if Elijah wants and I need to go get my car too" I told her walking back to the front door and closing it, I went to the living room, sat down and turned the tv on and watched a movie while waiting for Elijah.
It was already afternoon, as I got up to go to the bathroom Elijah came out of his room,
"Oh hey do you have any plans for today?" I asked walking up to him,
"Umm no I guess you wanna go out?"
"Yeah I'm bored and I need to go get my car"
" Yeah that's fine by me, I'll go and put Amelia in her car sit"
"Ok thank you I'll go get my stuff and I'll come down" he nodded then went back to his room to get his keys and jacket meanwhile I went to the bathroom,i took the necessary things I needed and wore my sandals then walked out of the house, I went to the car and placed my bags close to Amelia's sit before sitting in the passengers sit,
"Ok I'm done" I said as Elijah came inside his car and started it before leaving his house.
We were in a relaxing silence as we drove to God knows where,
"Elijah where are we going?" I asked curious,
"To the mall then to Jacobs house"
"Who is he?" I asked,
"My really close friend, actually my only friend" he said smiling staring at the road,
"Sounds like an interesting friend and at least you have a friend" I said giggling,
" he is an interesting friend indeed, he's a handful, I'm surprised I tolerate him, his wife is the only one who calms him down" he said smiling widely,
" Oh nice his married does he have kids?"
" Yeah a new born baby boy, he looks so much like his father" he said laughing,
"You're really fortunate to have a friend that makes you smile like that"
"Yeah he's like a brother, in fact he's my brother from a different mother, he's really a great guy"
He kept smiling till we reached the mall.
