When they smile I look away,
'Cause it's hard knowing what they did that day.
When they speak I don't speak back,
They don't deserve friends to watch their back.
When they frown I laugh inside,
Who are they to hurt my pride?
When they laugh the tears will spring,
Into my eyes, they'll hurt and sting.
When they talk to their friends,
I hate to think that is the end.
They do have everything I always needed,
Friends, happiness, and I begged and pleaded.
Hopes and dreams they also had,
It is this that made me mad.
