Background: Malina was born and raised in Croatia somewhere near the sea until she was 11 years old. Her mother died at that point and her father decided that they should move to Japan due to his work. When Malina turned 15 her father was in a big fight where he almost killed a person because he was drunk and was put in jail. Due to the fact that she doesn't want to be put in a children's home Malina ran away and is now living with the Soma family because they found her alone in the middle of the winter where she almost froze to death.
Personality: Malina is a very quiet person. Because so many things happened in life she decided to shut her feelings away from everyone else and so she is barely talking. If it happens that she has to speak she usually gives short answers. She despises people who drink alcohol because of what happened with her father. All in all she can be a helpful person and is actually quite intelligent.
