Ichigo's POV
"Ah! That was the best sleep I ever had", I said while rubbing my eyes, "I wonder who was singing last night, I believe I had ever heard it somewhere", I slowly switched into a sit position
I looked around me, the room is dark, did I switch off the light last night?
I was ready to get up when I realized something
"This isn't my blanket", I looked closely at the blanket, it's black, mine is pink
I got up and opened the curtain, the light instantly flashed through the window and then I looked around
Guitar posters on the wall, book shelf full of comics and some math books, a rounded table beside the bed with books and papers on it, the wall is painted in blue.
"This is not my room!", I freaked out
I was going to the door when I realized a sofa at the corner of the room with someone on it
"Nao..", I mumbled
All the memory from yesterday suddenly flew through my mind
"Because of Raichi's story I ended up sleeping", I recalled every moment in my head, "But I was sleeping by the table, how can I wake up by the bed?"
I asked myself with my eyes still focused on the figure that was lying down on the sofa
"He looks so peaceful", I said as I walked toward him, I bent down to match the height with him
I looked, or should I say 'examine', his face, from his messy black hair that covered his forehead to his eyes, his long eyelashes, thin nose, and sharp face. He indeed has a handsome face, I smiled like an idiot while thinking all of this.. Why do I sound weird?
My eyes went down to his lips, it looks so soft..
"Ugh!", I looked away and sit down at the floor, "Why does it feel so hot here?"
"Hmm.."
I looked back at him, he slowly opens his eyes, oh! He woke up, I should say something
"Good morning", I smiled
He looked at me for a moment and closed his eyes again, what?
But then he opened them again with shocked face, "I-Ichigo?"
"Yes?"
"W-why are you-!?", he then held his head, "Right, you were asleep last night", he slowly gets up and his blanket fell down, revealing his bare chest, or should I say he's half naked.. Wait, what!!?
I bet my face was as red as a strawberry, I mean who wouldn't? I saw abs just now! Automatically, I looked to the other side
"What's wrong with- I'm sorry! I-I-", he covered his body with the blanket, "I always had my cloth off when I am sleeping", his face is as red as mine now
"Mhm..I understand", I nodded, still not looking at him
This situation was absolutely awkward
"I need to go to the bathroom", he said, still looking away
"Y-yeah, sure", I started to get up but me as a clumsy girl, I accidentally step on the blanket that caused myself to fall
It's better if I fell straight to the floor but I fell on the sofa instead. More importantly, on top of Nao!
The position was extremely awkward! I bet he was tryna catch me with his hand on my waist and for preventing myself from hurting, I had both of my hands hold out to anything that was under me and yap! I touched something warm and hard instead of something cold and soft
Naoto's chest...bare chest!
This couldn't be any worse
I couldn't believe it
What did I do?

He was laying on the sofa with me on top of his body. I could see his shocked and blushed face and no doubt that the colour of my face had changed as well
This is not right.
My eyes kept wondering around his face..his messy black hair to his sharp chin..
'Oh, Ichigo, you should stop being captured by his good-looking face', I told myself. Then, our gaze met, my eyes got locked into his. Suddenly, I got this weird feeling..my heart was beating so fast
What is this?
Naoto's POV
It all happened in a blink
She was about to fall so I was trying to catch her but it turned out that she was falling toward my direction. As a result, I fell on the sofa and she on top of me
Oh sh--!
Her face was too close! My heart wouldn't stop beating!!
My hand was left hanging on her waist while both of her hands were placed on me
I looked at her face, some strands of her golden hair were moving downward, her ruby eyes and small nose with flustered cheeks
But something that got my attention no other was her lips, her ruby lips, it seems so sweet
'Nao! Stop looking there! Are you a pervert?', I told myself
Soon enough, I moved my gaze back to her eyes and there our eyes were locked
It felt like the time has stopped ticking and we're captured by this moment, my heart started to beat faster and faster
"How could you fell asleep here?"
"Huh?"
"You know that I'm indeed a boy, you shouldn't be sleeping here, especially in a boy's room, right?"
"W-what do you mean, Nao?"
I moved my gaze to her lips again, "Are you sure that I won't do anything to you?"
"I-I just..", she moved a bit
I held her shoulder and pushed her then pinned her down until she laid on the sofa with me above her
"N-Naoto, what are you doing?", her face was getting redder
I leaned closer to her ear and whispered, "You should know that every boy is a wolf, eventhough you found him calm and harmless"
I pulled back and staring at her lips again and was about to lean in again when my common sense hit me
I stopped and realized that I might had freaked her out, so I quickly stood up
"I-I'm sorry", I apologized, "You should be going back to your house, we have school today"
"Y-yeah", she stuttered, "I-I'll be going now", with that she left
I sat back at the sofa and ruffled my hair, "Ugh! I screw everything", I wrapped myself with my blanket and regretting everything that I'd done, "You dumb Naoto! Congrats, Nao, you've become a pervert"
Ichigo's POV
I closed the door and laid my back on the door
"Was he about to kiss me?", I questioned myself while holding my chest, "What is this? Why is my heart beating so fast?"
"Oh, Ichigo-chan, you're awake", suddenly Tiara-san walked up to me, "Going back to your house?"
"A-ah..yeah", I smiled awkwardly
"Hmm...are you sick, Ichigo?", Tiara-san suddenly asked me
"H-huh?"
"You're really red", she said, "Are you okay?"
"I-I'm totally fine", I smiled a bit, "Hot..yeah, I just feel hot", I laughed nervously
"Oh really? I should have checked the air conditioner", she was about to opened the door when I stopped her
"N-no need, Tiara-san", I held her hand, "I should go back to my house now", I reassured her, "We don't want to be late, do we?"
"Ah right! I'll walked you out", she offered
"Thank you, Tiara-san"
"Just call me Tiara or onee if you want", she said as we started to walk
"Okay..onee", I smiled
Soon after that, I went back to my house and there I was greeted by mom, dad wasn't questioning anything, he just told me that I should quickly prepare myself to go to school and also told me that Raichi had gone first
Why does he always go first?! He always left me
Well..everything seemed normal to me so I went straight to my room and was about to take a bath when I realized that I had forgotten something
"My books!", I exclaimed, "I left it at Nao's room", I quickly zoomed out to the balcony, "Nao-", I stopped when the memory just now suddenly played in my mind and I was pretty sure that my face had a sudden change of colour
"This is very embarrassing", I said to myself and covered my face
"H-hey"
I looked up to where the voice was coming from, there I saw Nao, holding my books with towel around his neck, oh! And fully dressed
"Y-your books, you left them", he stuttered with crimson red colour cheeks, yap..he is a shy boy after all, that's why I never expect that he could do such things
"Oh..right", I took the books from his hand since the distance between our balcony is not really far, "Thanks"
"Sure", he said, we're still not facing each other
And here's the awkward silence
"Uh..I think I should get ready"
"Sorry"
"Yes?"
"I'm really sorry", he apologized again, "I really didn't mean to do that, I was just... I don't know what's happening to me!? I-it's just that suddenly I can't control myself, I-I..", he paused and then continued, "I must have freaked you out, right?"
What is this? Why does it feel like I've been torturing him?
I giggled, "To be honest, I never know that you actually have that other side, it actually startled me..."
"I'm sorry", he apologized again, what's up with this gloomy atmosphere around him
"N-no, it's not like I'm mad at you", how cute, "It's just that I learnt something new about you today"
He looked up to me with curiosity was written all over his face, how come there's a cute creature like him live in this harsh world
"The moral lesson is I shouldn't sleep at boys' room ever again, because they're all wolves"
He smiled, "Indeed"
Yap that smile! It's rare to see him smile! What a good-looking human being.. Wait, Ichigo, what are you thinking?! You must have gone crazy
"Shouldn't you get ready now? You're going to be late", Naoto woke me from my thought
"Oh right, I should!", I said and was about to walk back to my room when he said something
"Let's go together, I'll be waiting", with that he left
I smiled and mumbled, "Does that mean we're best friends now?"
A few minutes later
I came out and there I saw Nao was standing infront of his house gate, I rushed toward him and patted his back, he looked back at me
"Let's go", he walked first, "If we're lucky enough, we might catch up with the last bus"
"So why are we being slow? Let's run!", I ran pass him
"H-hey! How can you run with sandwich stuffed in your mouth?!", He shouted but well, naughty me ignored him, "You might get chocked you dumb!"
At the bus
Both of us were panting, I sat on the chair while Nao stood infront of me
"See, we might not make it if we didn't run", I grinned
"But still, if you chocked I might be in trouble", he sighed
I laughed, "You sounded like my dad", he just looked at me weirdly and slightly annoyed
"There's something at your mouth"
Naoto's POV
"Huh? Where?", she touched her face
"No, not there, it's here", I pointed at the edge on mouth
"Where?", this girl..
I bent down and took that sandwich crumb beside her mouth
I didn't realize that the bus was stopping and there's a bunch of people were hopping in the bus and suddenly I was pushed forward and now mine and her face are just inch away
Again?!
I saw her flustered and I bet my face was red as well
I quickly adjusted myself, "I-I..really didn't...that..it's..", oh my god! I've lost my words
She giggled, "That was just an accident, I know that you didn't do it deliberately"
"Y-yeah", I said awkwardly, "It's really crowded here and hot.."
"It sure does"
And here it comes, the deadly silence
"Oh, dear, can I sit there?", suddenly a lady in her 70s came by
"Of course, ma'am", Ichigo stood up and let her sat, then she stood beside me
"Why don't we stand near the door? It'll be easier to get out later", she suddenly said
"Sure"
We then stood near the door, my back was facing the wall and Ichigo stood infront of me facing my direction but she just looked down, well..okay
I faced forward when I noticed that there's a man that stood behind her, it's okay if he just stood there but..it's just me or he was trying to do something? It's just weird that there're some spaces beside him but he just clingy into Ichigo, this is just not right
"Let's exchange place", I said
She looked at me, confused, so I just pulled her and changed place with her
"What's wrong?", she asked
I looked back and the guy had gone, mingled into the crowd
"There're some nasty guys around, be careful"
"Thanks"
And here comes the silence again, when will we arrive at school?! It felt like we've gone forever
"Oh, that's our stop", Ichigo pointed out through the door, finally!!
When the bus had stopped, we're ready to get off from the bus when we're stopped by the crowd that rushed through the door
And again!? I was being pushed that made me looked like pinning her on the wall
This morning was really a disaster, a disaster for my heart's health
Soon after that, we got off
"I wouldn't take the bus at this time anymore", I said, sweatdropping
"Agree", she sighed, "That was a long and tiring ride"
Hah~ what a ride
"Better get hurry or we might get scolded by Johnny-sensei", Ichigo said and ran
"Yeah"
Time skip, at the school
"Good morning!", Ichigo rushed in with a wide smile
And I..well just being the usual me
"Oh, Ichigo, I thought you're late"
"Well, I woke up late this morning", Ichigo giggled awkwardly and threw a small glance on me
We both of course knew that it's not the reason why, let's just forget about this morning
I went to my seat and was going to rest for a bit when King's voice stop me from doing that
"It's not rare that Ichigo-chan came this late but you!"
"What's with me?"
"You never came this late like totally never! Don't you think that's weird?"
"Really?"
"Yes, Aoi! Try to use your smart brain, you're known as the student professor, aren't you?", King faced Aoi
"Now that I think about it...you're right! He always comes earlier"
What? Really? Did I? I never knew that because I only follows my sis so that I can save the money that dad gave for my transport
"Are you two...dating?", King asked with his smirk on
"What in the world!? No!", I denied, blushed by his question, I took a glance on Ichigo, obviously her face was red as well
"I was just asking, dude, why are you blushing madly?"
"You're asking nonsense!", I snapped him back
"Oops, Nao is mad...madly in love", King giving out his jokes
"You..little..", I was about to swear when Johnny-sensei came in
"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen", he did his usual pose, "It's coming!"
"What is coming?", one of the student asked
"What else? Special day for boys to return their feeling for girls who gave them chocolate"
"Special day for...what?", Ichigo confused
"Oh, starmiya, to return the girls feeling from valentine's day, it's time for boys to do the same", sensei stood straight, "In other words..", he twirled again then laid his hand on the whiteboard
"White Day!", he exclaimed
"White..day?", she tilted her head
"Yes! And as usual, audition is opened for that one special day, so if you're interested please quickly sign up", he explained, "The form will be sent into your phone, so don't miss it! Now, let's start our lesson"

I took my phone out as well as the others
"Oh, the form!", King exclaimed
"You're signing up?", Shurato asked
"Hell yeah!", King said
"Me too", Giro added
"Well, I guess I'm in as well", Shurato agreed
"Nao, you're in?", Hiro asked
Me? But it's pairs--boy and girl--and I'm not really interested in this kind of audition

"You've asked the wrong person, he would rather solo than works in pairs", King said

"Hey, are you auditioning?", a familiar voice was heard near our table
"Maybe? I'm still searching for a partner", another familiar voice was heard, and I knew whose voice is this
"For real, Ichigo? A bunch of guys were asking you just now and you still haven't gotten yourself a partner?", I bet it's the school professor's voice
"I'm just..searching for...oh! Hey, guys!"
I looked at King that sit across from me waved at the people behind me
"Mind if we join you guys?", Aoi with tray on her hand came toward us and asked, followed by her two friends
"Not at all", King grinned
"Thanks", and they sat
"So, are you guys auditioning as well?", Hiro suddenly asked
"The two of us are, but Ichigo", Ran said
"Wait, Ichigo-chan not?", King asked
She giggled, "Still not sure, I'm searching for a partner now"
"Says the one who was asked by a lot of guys", Aoi teased
So, she hasn't paired up with anyone else?
"I thought it'll be easy for you to choose since there's a lot of boys asking you", Shurato spoke up
"Well, I'm still thinking tho"
"Are you guys auditioning too?", Ran asked
"Yeah, but not Naoto", Hiro answered, "He's not into this"
"I thought there will be a lot of girls asking you", Aoi added up
"Hah! He wouldn't want it, this cold prince..tsk tsk", King shook his head and I threw a cynical glance at him
"Oh really? I was just thinking about asking you", Ichigo looked at me

"You..what?", I asked, surprised
The boys were laughing hard, "Poor Ichigo-chan, I don't want to make you sad but you have to accept that Nao, this cold cold cold prince, wouldn't try this pairing audition even once", King babbled while I was still deep in my thought

"Even that popular upperclassman, Mizuki Kanzaki-san, was rejected at the previous audition", King said
"So, that rumor is true after all", Aoi nodded
"Then, I should search for someone else?"
"Yeah, you'd better search for.."
"Let's do it"
"Hah?", everyone looked at me but I fixed my gaze at her
"Let's pair up", I said
She just looked at me with her big eyes, "Are you sure? Aren't you dislike joining this kind of.."
I got my phone and start typing, "I'll sign the both of us up"
"Nao, are you sick? You're okay?", King looked at me in disbelief
I sighed and stood up, "I'm going back first"
After a few steps out of the cafeteria
Gosh, why did I agree with her? After that embarrassing thing I did this morning, I thought I wouldn't be able to see her and now I'm pairing up with her for this audition! What am I going to do now?

I came out from the shower and was drying my hair with a towel. I sat on the sofa and rested my head on it
"What song are we going to use?", I asked myself
Silence filled up the room, only the ticking clock that was heard
"Argh! Why did I agree!", I curled around and fell on the floor, "You're trying to be cool and now you have to bear the consequence!"
It's not like it's a bad decision after all, it's just that I'm still afraid to see her in the eyes. It's not possible for me to ask her come after this morning incident
"I've done the most embarrassing thing ever..", I mumbled
And this silly heart! Why are you keep thumping real hard?! I held my chest
"It's impossible that...I like her, right?"

I got my phone and checked on it
"Ichigo?"
She's asking what song should we choose. We need a duet song and should be a love song

I looked at my screen as she's typing away the title. My eyes widely opened when I saw it
"You got a nice taste", I smiled
Ichigo's POV

"Yes!", I cheered then jumped onto my bed, "He really agree!", I couldn't stop squealing
I placed my phone on my chest with two hands still holding it while grinning like an idiot
I can't believe that he would really agree to partner up with me! I wasn't really expecting that since King said that he's not up to this kind of thing, but...
"Oh my strawberry", I kept on squealing. I couldn't hold my excitement
Days after days; at Nao's house; 10:56
"Oh~", I ended
I took a deep breath
"Well, that was good", Nao said
"Great! Just need a little more practice then we're done!", I said then laid on his bed
He sat on the sofa while me on his bed, well, we still keep our distance since that morning things or should I say that he's the one that did it
I don't mind about that thing anymore cause I know that he didn't do it deliberately but seems like that shy guy is terrified from his own actions
"Finally the audition is tomorrow", I said, he was adjusting his guitar
"Hm, you ready?", he spoke casually, well for the past 2 weeks I could say that we're a lot closer since we're practicing together and yeah because we're neighbor
"A little bit nervous since this is my first audition", I said while looking on the ceiling
"I got that, just relax"
I nodded then looked at him, he was still adjusting his guitar when I decided to examine his facial
He's indeed a handsome guy
"Wanna grab some snacks?", he looked up that made me throwing my glance away
"Later", I responded
I was facing the other side of the bed when I heard him got up from his sofa, "Come on, we haven't had our breakfast", I could feel that he was standing beside the bed
"You could just go first, I want to lay here just for some minutes more", I said, "Blame your bed for being comfy"

He has left? I turned over and to my surprise, he's still there, looking at me, but then sighed
I just looked back at him with my rounded eyes
He turned around, "I'll bring us some", then walked toward the door
I quickly got up, "Hey, I'll join!"
Downstair~; Naoto's POV
I took the milk out from the fridge and preparing some cookies
"Your parents have gone to work?", Ichigo asked, she was sitting by the table and might be looking at me
"Hm", I hummed
"It's Sunday but they still go to work..", she mumbled, "Tiara-san still in her room.."
"She left"
"Huh? When?"
"An hour or two I guess", I said, still avoiding eye contact
"How come you know when we're together this whole morning"
"She texted me"
"So..that means it's only the two of us now"
I stop pouring the milk when she said that, it's spring but why does it still feel so hot?!
I continued my activity, trying to ignore the fact that there's only the two of us
I cooked pancake for the both of us. While cooking, I took a glance at her that was playing with her phone
She's wearing an oversized pink sweater with short and had her hair tied up in ponytail
She's cute..
A few moments later~
"The pancake looks yum~", she took a big spoon of it
I ate mine while looking at her. We're sitting face to face
"Sweet~", she exclaimed
I smiled at her childish act, "Yeah.."
"Why does it feel like we're newly wed..", I choked on her statement, "Oh my strawberry, are you okay?"
I quickly drank the milk and swallowed my pancake, inhale, exhale..
Newly..wed..? I blushed a lot
"Nao, are you okay? Feeling better?", she patted my back
I nodded, "Y-yeah"
"Oh, thanks God", she sighed, "Do you have a fever? You're red"
And look who did that..
"I'm perfectly fine"
"Really? But your face is...ooh~ are you embarrased?"
"F-for what?", I stuttered
"Because of what I said? The..newly wed...", she teased
"S-stop it! I nearly choke till dead", I said looking away, still a blushing mess
She laughed, "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to say that..I mean I did..just to play with you"
I remained silence, I think my heart rate increased
"You look cute when you're embarrassed, look! You even got redder, how cute"
I thought that the sound of my heartbeat could be heard by anyone
"Oh, Nao! How can this cute human being lived in this cruel world", she smiled at me then ruffled my hair, yeah, she stood beside me to tease me even more
I held her wrist, "Stop that"
She kept grinning, "But really, you're such a cutie", she ruffled my hair again with her other free hand
Physically, I was sitting with her standing in front of me, I looked up at her smiling face and let her tease me

She opened the door and hopped on the bed
"We're suppose to practice now"
"Gimme some minutes, please"
I sighed and went to the sofa. I took my guitar and started to play some random songs
"Reindeers are better than people.. Sven, why is love so hard?", I sang

We bursted out laughter, "Why did you suddenly sing that song?", she asked
"Random", I replied, looking at her that was still lying on the bed

"There you go, cold prince", she teased
I smiled, well..I probably do have one.., "Sit here, let's practice"
She went toward me and sat down, beside me
"Let's start"

"Oh my strawberry, I'm very nervous", she said

"Does that even have any relation to your anxiety?", I asked

"I don't know..I'm trembling now!"
I looked at her then held her hand, "I'm here"
Soon, our names were called
I sat on a chair with her by my side. I looked at her and she did the same. I mouthed, "You can do it", and she nodded a little
Then, I started to play my guitar

I breathed in and out, so as her, we still looked at each other, then we smiled
We went down from the stage that were soon welcomed by the others
"You guys are wonderful!", Aoi praised
"Can't doubt their performance was indeed splendid", Shurato added
"And the gazes! The two of you look at each other at the entire song!", King exclaimed, "Caught in the feeling, huh!?"
I then looked at her, patted her on the head and ruffled her hair a little, "You did great", she then smiled at me
"W-woah! Nao's praising someone! Even pat her head! Ichigo, you're the luckiest girl ever!", King exclaimed, I quickly had my hand down
"Huh?", perplexity was written on her face
"Did something happen between you two?", Hiro had his smirk
"Don't say nonsense", I scolded
"Ey, Nao, spill the bean", King put his arm around my neck
"For God sake, nothing happened!"
The rest of them laughing
"Put that aside, I'm more curious with the result", Ran said
"Agree! Everyone was shocked when Naoto performed, it's like they've never seen him perform for ages", Aoi added
"It's that really bad?", Ichigo asked
"Oh, Ichigo-chan, lemme tell you that this little brother of ours never ever join this kind of audition, it's not strange to see him rejects girls for partnering up", King explained
"Stop it, I'm going home", I walked out
Later on~ Nobody POV
Ichigo was standing at the bus stop when suddenly someone approached her
"Oh, Nao, I thought you've gone home first", she said
"I got some..things to do", Naoto replied
"Ah..I see"
Silence filled around them with orange silhouette cover their faces when the sun started drowning
"Um..here", Naoto handed her a plastic
"Wha..parfait?", she looked at it
Naoto scratched the back of his neck, "You told me that you want it when we're at the backstage"
"Oh, I've forgotten about eating it", she looked at me and smiled, "Thanks"
"Sure"
The bus arrived and we hopped on
"How can you get it? It should be sold out after our performance", she looked at Naoto that was sitting beside her
He smiled, "I have my way"
