Maybe using songs to try and get you off my mind was a bad idea. Who would have thought that plugging my phone into the speaker and putting my phone on shuffle will only make me think about you more?
At first it was fine, everything was smooth while I was there, trying to clean up my room as well as the entirety of the apartment—well, that was the plan, until my phone decided to play a joke on me and went directly to our playlist.
One minute I was rummaging through the closet, the next I was drowning once again by the memories of you; pathetically trying to hold back the tears as I remember how we used to sing along with that music that was blasting through my speakers. But as you might have guessed, I failed from trying to stop the floodgates. They went one after another and all I could do left was wipe them off my face while desperately trying to get rid of your images from my brain.
But I failed at that too.
