CHAPTER 23 : REUNION
ISABELLA'S POV
"YOU?!"
"What the hell are you doing in here ?" I ask immediately
" Only know you love her when you let her go " he says in a sing song voice after which he smiles .
And lemme tell you that precious smile is infectious!
I run towards him and wrap my arms around his neck to embrace him .
"You can't sing " I chuckled but I understood what he meant by that .
And he whined about how his singing is better than me !
"Too tight"
" Oops" I say and take a step back
He seriously came ?
Wait a second !
" That's why you said that you wont miss me , because you gonna be there with me ?"
He nodded with a smirk plastered on his pretty face .
"Gosh! And here I was cursing you, like not literally , but still "
" Okay ma'am , now chill out and let's go "
"Yaayie"
Ro was finally ready to come back with me to our home town !
After 2 and half years ,
he was ready to move on from the weight which was on his shoulders from so long !
I am so so happy for him right now .
Imagine, Uncle Nate and Riley's happiness would be skyrocketed when they see him back!
" You are creeping me out , why are you smiling so hard ?" He asks
" Because of you "
" Well you are the reason I actually had the courage "
" And the love for your family too "
" Indeed " he says and his left arm goes around my back while his right is moving the cart forward .
I just look at him and smile once again.
Then look forward immediately when he catches me doing so and shakes his head as if I have gone crazy !
" So when did you actually decide to join me ?"
" That night when you fell asleep on my lap on the couch with a frown plastered on your weird face "
" Weird face ?"
" That's what you catch from all of that ?"
I shrug !
" Let's go now " he says
And I join him .
After we were done with all the procedure , we settle ourselves on our respective seats .
Yes , I got the window seat with my best friend seating right beside me.
No doubt I was on cloud 9 , but there was something which was still bothering me !
I got my best friend back but the way he behaved lately was not what I expected ever in my life which I am not able to let go so soon !
"Izzy look at her" Ro wishper yells in my ear which breaks me from my trance .
I look towards the direction he's pointing in and see a girl .
Let me rephrase it for you ,
' A very hot girl ', walking towards us .
I look at him and give a look stating , 'like seriously?!'
She walks past us and he mumbles something like , "Damn, she's sexy "
"You have a girlfriend mister! "
"So ?"
"Are you kidding me ? How can you even ask 'so' ? "
"Look , I'm just appreciating her

"Well your expressions say otherwise "
"Water?" One of the air hostess asks us .
"Yes please " Ro answers and flashes his set of white teeth , to which she winks
"I would like to have one " I say
but she doesn't even hear it because she's too busy eye raping Ro ,
who's also doing the same !
"EXCUSE ME !" I say out loud , not only she hears it this time but also the ones who are seating around .
Damn !
She passes me a glass of water and
I politely mutter a thanks .
After she's gone , I just stare at Ro like he's gone mad and he has gone mad .
"What ?" he asks casually like he did not just act like a horny teen
"What was that ?"
"What was what ?"
"You know what ? 'You' fudge off !"
Saying that , I take my earphones and play some music to calm my nerves .
The stupid thing is he doesn't even try to talk to me until we are done eating our food .
"Wasn't it tasty ?" he asks 'casually'
"You can talk ? After what like an hour ?"
"I am talking , I thought you were the one not talking"
"No shit sherlock . But you have to convince me you see "
"For that you have to remind me that you're angry "
"Why don't you go to hell ?" I suggest
" I would love to but guess what ? Heaven doesn't want me and hell's too scared that I might take over "

"And Royal sucks "
"Are you okay ? You are getting angry for no apparent reason "
"No reason , like seriously ?"

"What does it have to do with you ? You go flirt or do whatever with the newbie , do I say anything ?

I am speechless , that's right !
I flip him my tallest finger which happens to be my middle one ,
which he deserves wholeheartedly at this moment !
I continue with watching Harry Potter and the half blood prince .
There's still time till we reach London and I might take a nap after watching Deathly Hallows .
Royal's watching Master Chef Australia and doesn't even bother to look at me !
I just don't get what got on his nerves to be this angry !
I mean , he's at fault , not me .

My eyes lit up as soon as I see Dad who came to pick me from airport .
I run towards him immediately and we hug each other for god knows how long !
"I missed you so freaking much! " ,
I say , rather emotionally .
"We all missed you as well !
Now let's take you home , mom's impatiently waiting for you . "
"Alright ! Also there's someone with me " I say nervously
"No , not at all ! You are not allowed to have a boyfriend so soon !
And you can't just bring him here with you "
" Dad listen to me at least "
" Actually no , no problem .
Lett me see who's he , who dared to win your heart . I'm sure he doesn't even deserve you !"
"Dad , will you calm down ?",
I finally cut him off otherwise he would go on and on !
"What's his name ? Where's he ? Tell me he's a gentleman "
"You know him very well "
" Um who ??" he asks clearly confused
I go and push the boy forward who's hiding behind the pillar .
"Oh it's you . Thank god " Dad exclaims
"Wait what ? It's really you ?! Royal ?" Dad exclaims again .
He pulls him into a hug as well.
NO NO , he doesn't do that .
Instead he gives him a slight push which makes Ro stumble .
"You seriously have the nerve to get back here after so long ?" Dad says sternly and for a minute, my breath gets heavier.
"I'm sorry " Ro says
"No, you are not . Do you know how your departure affected your loved ones here ?"
"I do realise it now " Ro says , sadness clear in his tone .
"Good. Now come here and give your favourite man a hug !"
Hush!
Which makes us smile altogether !

Dad opens the door and I rush in , hoping to see Mom , but I can't seem to find her .
Our house looks dark , curtains are pulled down , all lights are off .
" Mom" I shout
No response ..
" Dad , mom's gone out or what ?"
" She didn't say so " Dad says
Just as I enter the living , I reach for the lights when I feel a hand brushed past me and the lights are back on .
" Welcome back!" Mom shouts
I just stand there speechless , looking at Mom who's looking at me and grinning wildly .
Also , I see Uncle Nate and Riley alongside .
And then I look beside me to find Daisy who switched on the lights.
Also , there's a banner setup stating ,
'Welcome back'
First , I go and hug Mom , gosh I missed her way too much !
But I'm certainly not the centre of attention anymore , as I see Royal walk in .
His steps are slow and steady ...
"BABY BRO! " Riley shouts and rush towards her brother ,
who wraps his arms around her .
All eyes turn to him and I notice Uncle Nate getting emotional .
" Hey" Daisy whispers
We also hug each other and I ask,
" How are you ?"
" Now I'm happy " she says while holding my hand in hers .
" Just so you know , I'm straight " ,
I whisper
" Even if I was not , I already know you are taken " She whispers back in a teasing manner
The siblings pull apart and that's when I notice Ro wipe a tear away.
That's enough for me to know
My Royal is still the same person he has always been , excluding his dumbass recent behavior .
" I hate you Royal " she says while sobbing .
Meanwhile , Uncle Nate steps forward and pull both of his children in his arms .
My father walks and stands beside my mom while swinging his arm around her shoulder to calm her nerves as she's about to burst into happy tears while watching the scene unfold in front of her eyes .
"Bella go and freshen up "
"Yes dad" I say and go to my room .
It's just the way I left it a few months ago and I'm feeling a deep sense of relief by just being here .
My room's colour is aqua blue , obviously my favourite colour .
There is a study table with a chair ,
a yellow bean bag , side table , cupboard and bookshelf which contains a whole set of Harry Potter books , then those by Nicholas Sparks , Alchemist , Who moved my Cheese , Goosebumps , Percy Jackson series and a few others .
Bathroom with a bathtub and it's a shade of green , seafoam to be specific .
I place my bag on the floor and go straight towards my bathroom to take a long shower with some music playing in the background .

My legs are kind of shaking at the moment .
I feel ecstatic at this family reunion .
I just wish Aunt Summer was here !
Mom was serving us and Riley helped her . On the other hand , I was busy looking at everyone's faces .
My dad was on his phone , typing a very long E-mail .
Ro and Uncle Nate were busy talking and Daisy went to use the washroom .
"Bella bring the water jug "
" Yaa" I say and do as she says otherwise the fact that I met her after a long time will be long forgotten and I would be in for mom's lecture of the day!
Daisy joins us and seats beside me .
Mom nudges Dad to stop his work and everyone's eyes fall on the tempting food.
I'm hungry!!
We all say our prayers and start eating .
"It's delicious " I moan
Daisy fake coughs because her dirty mind thinks of something else and I give her the glare !
"Royal and Riley helped me a lot , unlike you " Mom taunts
"You know what? I'll cook tomorrow's breakfast for you'll "
My self respect has some respect !
"My stomach is about to get too full , I'm skipping tomorrow's breakfast " Ro says purposely
"Me too" Daisy says
The elders just give a short laugh excluding dad.
I smile at him that atleast he's not making fun of my non-existent cooking skills .
He says,
" Don't make fun of my amazing daughter . She can do a lot of
things ... "
" Thank you Dad " I smile boastfully until he continues saying,
" Except cooking "
" DAD!" I whine
