Imagine being Michael's twin and hearing voices in your head.

A/n - I'll probably do a third part. Thanks for reading and voting and commenting!

Word Count: 1473

~

You made it home safe, having stolen Michael's bike in order to arrive faster. You ignored Sam and Lucy, heading into your room and collapsing onto the bed.

Usually, the voices would be talking, but now your head is oddly silent.

They let you go.

You almost can't believe it.

They just let you go.

Sighing, you hug your pillow. They said they'd see you tomorrow night. Why? Why is this happening?

~

You awake around three o'clock in the afternoon. Sam is downstairs, reading a comic, and Mike only just woke up as well.

Tonight, they're coming tonight.

Maybe it was a dream?

"Hey Mike," you say when you see him. "Did we go to a cave last night?"

He looks at you incredulously, "Yeah, Y/n."

From his tone, you can tell he's in a foul mood. So, you leave him alone and go to your room, awaiting nightfall.

~

'Y/n,' the voices say as one, drawing you towards the window.

Standing, you go to the glass and look down at the four boys. Their faces are emotionless.

You want to back away, but your feet are planted firmly on the floor.

An idea comes to mind, one you haven't tried before. You try to talk back to them using your thoughts.

'What do you want?'

At first, you're not certain it worked, until David answers.

'You.'

They stare relentlessly. The word echoes through your mind, terrifying and calming at the same time.

Why do they want you? What do they want you for?

'Please, come with us.'

No. You don't know them, you don't trust them. Hell, you're not even certain they're real. Maybe this is one twisted nightmare.

'I won't.'

Their cold stares harden, enough of a difference to make you inhale sharply.

'Don't fight it. Don't fight us.'

A thinly veiled threat if ever there was one.

'Leave me alone.'

You look away, back towards the hall where Sam walks by. When you look outside again, they are out of sight.

That's either a good sign or a very bad one.

~

A week passes.

Michael and Sam have been acting weird. Lucy's been off on more dates with Max. And, somehow, you've been hiding at home without anyone bugging you.

You've been getting more and more restless. Being cooped up in the creepy taxidermy house is about as fun as it sounds.

So, tonight you're heading out.

The only reason you're going out at night is because you've been sleeping during the day. You're not sure why, but you can't seem to stay awake when the sun is shining.

You were going to go for a walk today, but you fell asleep before you could. That is why you're going now, when the sun is just setting.

Possibly the most insane thing you've done.

The air is wonderful against your bare shoulders and legs. Dressed in a tank top and shorts, the warm night air caresses you gently.

Your legs move you closer to the road, away from the safety of the house. As you unlatch the gate, harsh wind brings you out of your stupor.

"You've finally emerged," David's relaxed voice states.

Instantly, you wrap your arms around yourself. They have surrounded you in a tight circle, hardly leaving a foot between you and them.

"Don't be scared, doll," the one who looks like Twisted Sister says.

How could you not be scared?

"Come with us."

You shake. This was stupid.

"I-I don't want to," you stutter, petrified.

Your answer doesn't please them.

Each of them steps closer, pressing firmly against you. You shudder violently, and clench your fists in panic.

"Relax," David speaks again, lower this time. His voice is hypnotic.

You stop shaking, but your eyes are still burning with terror.

"You're tired, aren't you?" His voice is so smooth, like a lullaby.

Nodding, you sway a bit on your feet. You hadn't realized how tired you were until now.

"You can sleep now. You're safe with us," he continues.

Your eyes flutter closed and your body goes limp. Three sets of hands are ready to catch you before you can connect with the ground.

~

"That was easy," Marko comments, a large Cheshire Cat grin adorning his angelic features. He glances at Y/n's sleeping form which lies on the couch.

Dwayne had carried her back to the cave and set her there.

"The trouble isn't getting her here, it's getting her to stay."

Paul smirks, "She doesn't have a choice, though. She can't leave. We won't let her."

"Do you want to her to hate us?" Dwayne reasons.

This makes Paul stop smiling.

"She's our mate, she can't hate us," Marko counters.

David rolls his eyes, "That's not how it works."

They stare at the sleeping girl, wondering what to do.

"You're saying you'd just let her walk away?"

David clenches his teeth.

"Hell no."

~

You regain consciousness and open your eyes to find the ceiling of the cave. Startled, you jolt upright and look around with wide eyes.

Paul snickers and Marko bites his thumbnail. Dwayne sits on the couch across from the one you're on and David sits on his wheelchair.

This isn't good.

Their eyes are fixated upon you, unnerving you.

You don't speak: there's nothing to say.

"Hey, Lamb," the curly haired one smiles slyly.

Not bothering to look at him, you try to think of an escape plan.

There's no way you can run faster than them, and you couldn't possibly fight them all off.

You're screwed.

"It's okay," the usually silent one tries reassuring you.

"You've been quiet," you finally say.

They look amused. "How so?"

"I can't hear you in my head."

"We blocked you out. Glad to hear it's working," Paul laughs.

You furrow your brow, "Why?"

"We figured it was annoying you," Marko answers. "We has no idea you could hear us. How long ago did it start?"

You don't want to answer, but you do anyways, "It started when I was a kid."

They each seemed shocked.

"That long?"

You nod.

"Wow," Paul says, "You must've had a crazy childhood."

"Childhood wasn't crazy. I was," you reply. "At night, all I could hear was you guys talking about murdering people."

Dwayne's eyes seem to hold the most sympathy. "I'm sorry you went through that."

You shrug. "You're just gonna kill me now anyways, right?"

"We're not gonna hurt you, doll."

A small humourless laugh escapes your lips, "You kidnapped me."

"Ah, but we didn't hurt you," David smirks. "Did we Y/n?"

"No, I guess you didn't."

"Precisely. Now, allow us to explain some things," he continues. "You are our soulmate. Everyone has one, and sometimes multiple people share one. In this case, me and the boys share a soulmate: you. Understand?"

"You're saying that we're all meant to be together?"

"Essentially."

You cross your arms, "If I hadn't already experienced the wackiest shit, I wouldn't believe you."

"So, you believe it?"

"I don't not believe it."

It would explain the electric shock that runs through you when you make eye contact with them. Also, it would explain the mind reading.

"Also," you add, "I don't not believe that you're vampires."

"You're taking this very well," Dwayne notes.

"I'm used to crazy," you simply reply, before standing. "This has been so much fun, but I'm leaving."

Paul and Marko are on you before you can blink. They each grip one of your arms, tight enough to stop you from moving.

"You're not leaving this time."

Panic grips you, "Let me go!"

"No can do, Lamb."

"Yeah, doll. You're not going anywhere."

Your fearful gaze meets Dwayne's. He seems like the most sensible one. "Please! Let me go!"

He shakes his head. David stands in front of you now. His gloved hand trails down your cheek. You take advantage of his close proximity and bite down on his hand. He growls in pain and draws away.

You smirk at the small victory as the other three laugh. David joins in the laughter, to your disappointment.

"Be careful, next time I might not be in such a good mood."

You start to struggle even more, but they don't release you.

Dragging your feet, you put up a fight as they pull you towards a small tunnel and into a windowless room with a brand new bed.

They force you onto the bed, with your arms reaching towards the head board. Then, Paul and Marko handcuff each of your hands to opposite poles of the headboard.

Your throat is beginning to hurt from screaming and cussing at them.

"It's just so you don't run away, darling. We don't trust you quite yet," David explains with a deceivingly sweet grin.

They leave you virtually untouched, which makes you sob in relief.

Things could have gone so much worse.
