Autumn's pov
Current day
Dad was already crying when he finished the story. I couldn't hold mine too neither could Jade and Summer.
"So we left Greenville because people kept spreading rumors about us especially about the girls" Dad said
"So it's not because of me?" Zack asked and we all looked at
"No son why would you say that?" Dad asked
"I told him, but I never meant to Mother told me when we arrived at Eastside" Summer said
"That's not true" Dad said and he continued, "I wish all of you will live together happily. Especially Summer and Autumn"
"I have a question dad" Jade said
"Okay?" Dad said
"If Autumn is Anut Rachel's daughter and you love Anut Rachel then why were you an ass to Autumn" she slapped her mouth when she realized what she said.
"Jade!" Summer exclaimed
"That's okay, it's because Ruby told me Summer was your Anut Rachel's daughter" Dad said, and Summer looked down.
She knew about it and she's hiding her tears by looking down.
"Oh" we all fell into an awkward silence. The doctor saved us by coming in for routine check-up.
"How are you doing today, Miss Arison" he asked
"I'm good Doctor"
"That's good"
"Will you guys wait outside?"
"Yeah sure" my Dad said and they all stood up to leave. He kissed my forehead before going out. I looked at Summer and our eyes met for a moment then she looked down and went outside.
"So I felt it was awkward in here" the doctor said smiling at me and I smiled back
"Kind of" I said
He did some routine check-up and then he said
"You're good to go"
"Thanks, so when am I getting discharged?"
"Today if you want to"
"Yes yes I want to, I hate hospitals"
"I noticed" he said, "So you can go when you're ready to go"
"Yeah, can you tell my sister Summer to come help me out?"
"Your elder sister is fierce" I looked at him weirdly
"She's my younger sister"
"Oh, wow then she really loves you a lot"
"Why do you say that?"
"She came into my office and told me that if I didn't save you, she would kill me or she will make sure I lose my license"
I smiled
"Well she gave me chills"
"That's certainly Summer"
"And she was crying really hard"
"Thanks doctor you're the best"
"I know right?" He winked and I laughed, "I will get Miss Yikes"
I laughed again
He left and Summer came in.
"Hey Steven said you asked for me"
"Mmmmmmh Steven, he's my doctor but I don't know his name and someone already does" I winked and Summer blushed lightly
"What do you need me to do?"
"I was discharged by Steven"
"Oh you need me to help you get changed?"
"Yeah, Summy"
"Mmmhu"
"I really love you, and we will always be sisters, okay?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry for being an ass to you when we were kids"
"There's no problem at all...we were immature then"
"And I'm literally sorry for everything" she started crying
"Me too Sum, I'm your big sister and I will always protect and love you okay?"
"Thank you, I love you Aunt"
"I love you too Sum, so much" I hugged her and she helped me get changed then we left the hospital
Four Months later
I was four months pregnant and I had constant cravings and morning sickness. Lara went to Egypt for a job. She will be back next week and she said she will be moving in with me.
April have been with Zach for the past week and will be back today.
I was just called to the firm, there was an urgent board of directors meeting. That reminds me I haven't seen Kincaid since we had that talk.
"Good thoughts only, good thoughts" I said out loud and left for the firm
I arrived at the firm and went to my office to grab a pen. I was looking for my pen but I didn't see it. So I dropped my phone on the table so I can look for it better. I found it and someone knocked on the door.
"Hey Autumn"
"Oh Hi Matthew"
"It's Maxwell"
"Oh I'm so sorry, Maxwell"
"I thought you were taking a break"
"Yeah but I got the text message of the board of directors meeting"
"Yeah, I was just on my way to grab my file then I saw you walk into your office"
"Oh, I'll be going now. I will see you there"
"Okay" I didn't even wait for him to leave I was so embarrassed. Matthew!! Seriously Autumn
Maxwell came into the conference room late. The meeting lasted longer than I thought. I was so worried about Zach he has an interview and April is still with him. After the meeting I reached out for my phone but I didn't see. I tried thinking where I kept it and I remembered it is in my office I went over immediately and I saw a lot of missed calls from Zach. I called him but he didn't answer so I went home. I didn't see anyone at home.
Then Zach called me
"Hey Zach, I'm so sorry, I will get the interview again for you"
"No I went for the interview, sorry I didn't take your call though."
"No problems"
"I guess April is asleep she was tired today we..."
"What do you mean?"
"Oh we did some garden..."
"No April isn't home"
"But you sent a text saying I should put her in a taxi and send her home"
"No I didn't"
"You didn't?? But...fuck it...I'm coming and call everyone who you think knows where she is"
He hung up...I was trembling...I called Alexis
"Hey Autty, how are you doing?"
"Lexi have you seen April today?"
"No I haven't, why?"
"I can't find her Lex, I can't find her" I began crying
"I'm coming over now"
"Ric!!! Ricky!!!"
"Yes Ma'am?"
"Did you see anything weird today? April is missing!!" I was struggling to breath
"My phone!! Where's my phone??"
I picked it up and called Kincaid
"Autumn"
"Get to my house now!! Our daughter is missing"
"What!! How?!? Where?!"
"JUST GET HERE!!!" I hung up
"Tell the whole bodyguard to be alert, I'm sure if she was kidnapped the kidnapper will call"
"Autumn you need to relax you're pregnant"
"Just do your job Richard!!" I yelled
