Jade's POV
God I hated her. I had no words to describe the pure, deeprooted, hate I had for this girl. Sure everyone knows I'm not a very big fan of people as a whole, but anyone who wasn't a total dumbass could see I treated her differently from anyone else. There was just something that irritated me so much about her. Little miss Sally Peaches perfect sunshine world. No one should be THAT happy, and I'd be damned if I didn't make her overly perfect sunshine world the closest thing to hell that I could.
I mean the nerve of that latina. She really thinks she can be the privileged nobody that lives the most amazing happy perfect life? As if the world revolves around her. God just the thought of her peppy attitude is making me queasy. Gross.
I knew from the second I saw her rubbing on my boyfriend that she was unlike all the other filth of the school. She was someone I'd have to go out of my way to remind that she's not all she thinks she is. See it's easy with everyone else because all it takes is one look and they take off running in the opposite direction. No one puts up a fight. Except Vega. And she is the last person I'd ever let try and ruin my reputation no matter how much of a gank I'd have to be to keep her in line.
I've tried to make her life here her worst nightmare, and I'm pretty sure I've succeeded there between the countless things I've done to her.
Today was... well let's just say it was odd to say the least. It all started when the gang decided to go check out the new karaoke bar that had just opened up recently. We were all having fun well, Andre, Robbie, Cat, and Beck were anyways, I was just there for Beck. I had left to go get a drink and when I came back I saw some girls all over Beck. This was obviously something I wasn't going to stand for and while I'd have loved to pour my drink all over them and send them to Vega's house so they could start an annoying little club, Beck was giving me one of those 'don't you dare' looks so I had to hold myself back as hard as I could.
"Hey, check out dude's jacket," the ugly blonde one motioned to Andre's letterman jacket.
"ohhhh, Hollywood Arts. The school for...wannabes," the gross brunette quipped. Beck was seriously gonna owe me for not tearing their heads off right this second.
"Y'know you might WANNABE shutting your face their," I replied dryly.
Andre tried to break the tension by mentioning something about stupid buffalo nuggets, but I was too angry to pay attention. I'd rather be around Vega right now and THATS saying something.
"You singing tonight?" the leader of the two asked.
"Well we certainly didn't come for the buffalo wings," I quipped.
"So are we, guess we'll be having ourselves a little sing off". She gave me an arrogant smirk before stalking off as if they could possibly win and I couldn't wait to wipe it off her face.
"Are buffalo wings spicy?" Cat timidly asked. I decided to ignore her because well if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all. While I may only say not nice things, I was trying to save up my energy to give the performance of a life time to ruin these girls.
We were hanging around for the next 5 minutes before the MC called up Hayley and Tara and as soon as they opened their mouths I had to try my absolute hardest not to laugh. They were so incredibly horrible and tone deaf it was one of the best things I ever got to watch because I didn't even have to do anything for them to embarass themselves.
Well then, now that THAT tragic performance has ended it's time for me and Cat to get up and relieve the poor crowd of that torture.
"What. The. HELLLLLLL," I screamed on the car ride home with beck. "WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT WAS THAT. HER DAD. HER FUCKING DADDDDD!?!?!?!"
"Babe calm down, everyone knows who the real winners are it doesn't matter and we can just sing other places anyways," Beck tried to calm me down.
"Ohhhh huh nooo this is FAR from over. I won't let those two basic cunts get away with this. We're going back tomorrow night."
"Uhhh in case you forgot, we're kind of banned," Beck annoyingly reminded me.
"Thank you captain obvious. Don't worry about it. I have a plan," I say calmly now with a smirk creeping up my face.
"Oh no," Beck said unsure of what I could be plotting.
The next day
I went over to Vega's house with Cat who insisted on bringing her froyo. When we knocked on the door Vega opened up looking like a hot mess. It amsued me to see while we spent the night doing karaoke, she spent the night dealing with the other bigger more annoying mess that is Trina Vega without wisdom teeth.
Vega's hair was a mess and she looked exhausted. I could see the guys in the back with Trina trying to untie her so Vega insisted on going outside because she didn't want to be around when she wakes up. I snuck over to Beck's jacket and grabbed his car keys. All part of the plan hm.
"So what's up?" She asks us taking a spoonful of the froyo into her mouth. I stared a bit longer than I probably should've. It was just so annoying. Anything she did was annoying. The way she walked the way she talked the way she ate froyo etc.
"These two girls were really mean to us last night," Cat explained.
"And they cheated," I mentioned dryly.
"What's on your arm?" Cat asked Vega now pointing to a patch of red on her skin.
"Trina's mouthblood," the latina groaned.
"Cool," the words leave my mouth on accident as I take in the beautiful gore. "So you wanna help or not," I quickly recovered.
"I wish but I have to take care of Trina," vega said sadly.
"hehe don't worry jade has a plan," the redhead giggled. Vega turned to me now with a suspicious look.
"I'm not gonna kill her if that's what you're worried about." Vega went over to peek into the house to total chaos which made her choice a lot easier and soon we were all on our way to cats house to start the first phase of the plan.
Tori's POV
"Okay guys before we even think about getting started with this plan, I NEED to shower. If i go another second with Trina's mouthblood on me I think I'll turn into a Trina zombie," I cried out to the two.
"One time my brother thought he was a zombie so he-"
"Go shower and we'll start picking out your disguise," Jade interrupted
"and thats why we're not allowed at the dentist anymore," I heard Cat finish as I headed to her shower. The hot water hit my skin and I instantly began to relax again. Spending the night with Trina was hell. SHE ALMOST TOOK ME OUT 7 TIMES. I swear one of us was adopted. We can't be related we just can't.
I shook my head and cleared it of all Trina related thoughts and instead my mind wandered over to Jade. I still don't understand why she hates me so much. I mean yeah she hates everyone but not the way she hates me. I know that first impression with Beck probably wasn't very good but still we've known each other for a while now and I'd like to think I'm a pretty likeable person right?
I let out a sigh. Jade was the one enigma I could never figure out. I didn't understand anything about her other than her getting jealous when girls are around Beck. Other than that, I have no clue why she's so mean and hates everyone or why she's an extra big gank to me but then other days will treat me almost like one of the rest of the gang like today.
"Vega hurry up in there we don't have all day!" I hear that familiar sharp voice cut through the door which wakes me from my daze. I shut off the water and wrap a towel around me then head out to see what they got for me to wear.
When I finally got back to Cat's room I saw Cat sitting or bouncing around happily waiting on her bed while Jade was sitting in an office chair looking at the ground in thought slightly turning with the chair. My entrance got both of their attentions. Cat got up to go grab the disguise they got me, but when I glanced over to Jade I saw her looking over my body with a blank expression. When my eyes caught hers she did that thing where she bites the air and that sent heat rushing to my face. I quickly broke myself away from where I was paralyzed to grab the clothes from Cat and darted to the bathroom again.
I swear I hate Jade so much sometimes.
I was sitting in the corner of Karaoke Dokie now fully in disguise as a gross isolated weird mole lady hermit or something. I saw Jade and Cat talking to the girls that I assumed were the Hayley and Tara they had mentioned earlier when I saw them look my way and quickly delved my face back into the book I had with me.
"Her," I heard one of the girls say. I looked up at them now pretending to be confused about what was going on.
"Oh come on anyone but her, at least pick someone who has a chance," Jade tried to fake plead.
"Nope, after we sing you're up mole lady," Hayley said. Everything was going according to plan.
Jade's POV
"Alright everyone and now here's Louise Nordof singing freak the freak outtt," the MC announced before playing the track. Vega started to bounce around to the beat as awkwardly and weirdly as she could and started singing the first lines while removing her disguise.
As the latina took the disguise off piece by piece, I couldn't help but sweep my eyes over her. I hated her so much right now, I hated her because I was completely mesmerized by her right now. I couldn't take my eyes off her, every movement, every hair flip, every hip sway.
At the end of it Cat went up and hugged her. Vega tried to hug me too but I quickly stopped her by connecting our hands instead and pushing our arms into the air trying to force back the smile on my face.
I don't know what it was about today, but something was different and I didn't hate it, but I couldn't like it either.
