There's a deadly hush

That fills the air

A cold whisper

To rest, to sleep

Winter still brings

Unease to my mind

Evermore like

The colourless war

I hope it's my tired

Imagination

Not an accurate

Predication

Closing my eyes

I practise their advice

To breathe in, and out

Settle, and emerge

Remind myself

To live here, now

No such thing as

A strategic plan

Just the rest

Of unfolding events.

Continua llegint
