Tyuzu's POV
My heart sunk in pity for Jihyo.
"I'm so sorry," I said placing my hand on her shoulder.
She layed her hand on top of mind and smiled. "It's ok."
"Anyway," I said, trying to lighten the mood. "How old are you?"
"18," she responded. "It's my last year of highschool. Finally."
I giggled. "I'm 17."
"Ugh that means you still have a year of school left! Gross!"
We laughed together.
"So what school do you go to?" Jihyo asked.
"The private one down the road," I shrugged. "It's called Emerson High."
"Oh dude!" she yelled. "You're an Emmie! I knew you were a nerd!"
I raised an eyebrow. "I'm a what?"
Jihyo smiled. "An Emmie. That's what all the Emerson High kids get called around town. Just a heads up. Don't wear your dorktastic uniform in public."
I rolled my eyes. "And what school do you go to?"
"Um, duh, the only other highschool in town. The public school. Everyone around here just calls it "High". Cuz, ya know. highschool. You get it, you're an Emmie."
I smiled.
Jihyo looked at me. "What?"
I laughed.
"What?!"
I grinned. "You didn't seem smart enough to go to Emerson anyway."
She gasped. "You take that back, you ass!"
