Nico and Will had been walking around the surprisingly quiet city of New York. At least, as quiet as the city that never sleeps could ever be.
"I'm tired, Solace," Nico mumbled, resting his head on his hand. "Let's get back to camp, it's past lunch there already."
"Good point, sunshine." Will got up, stretching his arms. "Hope they haven't turned the whole camp upside down."
The two got up, slowly making their way back to camp.
Normally, Nico would have just shadow traveled to camp, but Will would never let him do that, always tacking on that 'Doctor's Orders' phrase of his. He didn't know why he always followed, he knew Will had never even been to college.
After a while, the two reached a crossing, and Will grabbed his hand, earning a soft yelp from the 'younger'.
"What's that for?" Nico muttered, giving up trying to wiggle his hand out of Will's grasp.
"They always say to guide your elders when they walk on crossings," Will snickered, trying not to laugh at his own joke. "I think 84 is elderly enough."
Nico grumbled, still holding Will's hand.
"You're the best looking 84 year old I've ever seen, if it makes you feel better."
"Honestly, I'm more weirded out if anything." Will smiled, and the light went green as the two crossed.
