So, for those of you
who don't know, I asked
Brooklyn if she wanted
to do a video together
{nods} mhmmm
And we have literally
talked every single day,
basically, since then.
{giggles} Yes! He sends
me pictures of dogs on
Instagram and it makes
my day
One of my followers
actually wanted me
to tell them what you
smell like? {laughs
and looks into camera}
{throws head back and
claps, laughing} And?
What're you gonna
tell them?
Brooklyn smells
like rainbows and
nicotine
{laughs} Thats Kellin's
fault if I'm honest
{laughs} So, one of the
things I've been meaning
to ask you is how did you
guys get so successful so
quickly? Like, how did
you guys go from being
a small town band to
being played on nearly
every radio everywhere?
{laughs}
{laughs} We literally, um,
just played small shows in
bars and this one night in
late December we were
playing in a bar that just
so happened to be one that
the boys of All Time Low frequently visited. {smiles}
They literally came up to
us after the show and
basically asked us to tour
with them on their Last
Young Renegade tour
and then we got signed
and now we're like 10
times more famous
than them {winks at
camera} sorry, boys.
{laughs} Love that!
I feel like you and I
are so similar in that
way, like, we both got
so big so fast and I
don't know about you,
but for me it was just
so crazy and unbelievable
and I couldn't even
process it.
Yeah, it was exactly the
same for me. It felt like
getting thrown into a
hurricane of good things
but not knowing how to
deal with any of it {laughs}
Exactly, yeah {laughs}

So, the tea I really want
to know about is what
went on with you and
Harrison...{wriggles
eyebrows} SHE'S

It's just the makeup,
moron! {laughs and

How did you guys,
like, meet?
{laughs} He texted the
wrong number
{gasps} NOW THAT
is a love story if I ever
heard one
James! He has a girlfriend!
{takes a deep breath} But,
like between you and I,
completely off camera?
Of course.
I liked him. Like, whenever
he would text me, I
literally got butterflies -
WHICH {laughs} sounds
just so cringe but, yeah.
You did? {squeals} I
ship you guys so hard!
What the hell happened?
I guess I was just a little
too late {laughs} So, when
you see me releasing new
music, only you and my
band will know who
it's about {laughs}

Moving on from that
piece of juicy guy-related
tea that I am dying to
sister spill but won't!
{laughs}

This is where you guys
actually eventually get
together and then I
make a video and I'm
just like "I fucking
knew it from the
beginning"
{throws head back and
laughs} It won't happen.
I will be single forever

A question that a fan
actually asked me to
ask you is what does
your music represent?
We like to write our own
songs, but obviously
sometimes when we get
the chance to work with
amazing songwriters we
won't pass that up
{nods} uh-huh
But, to me, the lyrics
definitely represent a
direct feeling or, like,
how I or we, as a band,
collectively felt when we
were writing it. But, the
feeling isn't just in the
lyrics, y'know? Our latest
album is very, not soft,
but it's more pop punk
than punk rock and I feel
like that's because we were
all so...mentally sound
when we wrote it, like we
were all in such good places
physically and mentally.
{nods} Totally,
would you say that
you're still in this
mentally sound place?
Uh {laughs} For me, I
don't know. Like, touring
always makes me feel so
great, I get to meet all
these people who support
us, and I just consider
myself so lucky that I'm
not a solo-act because
touring would get literally
so lonely and boring if
I was {laughs} I feel like
my mental health is at a
place where it's balancing.
Like, one thing, one minor
thing, could just completely
just send me over the edge
and it'll either be a bad
thing or a great thing
Yeah, I get you.

I was thinking, maybe
you and I could perform
a little duet on the piano
