'How do I open the menu?' Thinking of a few ways that he can open the menu he had an idea that he thought sounded stupid. "Profile." As soon as he finished saying those words a box appeared. 'Holy shit that actually worked?'
Before you open the Profile tab, would you like to take the tutorial?

Feeling like he did something, he pressed yes. What he saw in the box made him let out a sigh as he began to prepare for how much he would have to read. 'Oh god this is going to take a while.'
Hello welcome to the tutorial! As you can probably expect we are going to teach you the basics of the system. First to open the system you can say or think: Profile, Stats, Skills, Abilities, Perks, Inventory, or Quests to open the system. (Note: what ever you say would lead you to the tab for the word you said. For example, if you said "Stats" it would lead you to the Stats tab.
The Profile tab tells you what your level is, and what your title is. Your title tells you what you see yourself as, and it gives you a bonus to your skills, abilities, and stats if the title makes sense for it to change any those. When you scroll down if tells you about your appearance. (Note: these may change later in your life.)
The Stats tab tells you your stats. Each time you level up your stats increase. You can also increase your stats by using your points to increase it, finishing quests, and by doing specific actions (For example, if you want to increase your strength you would lift weights to increase it.) Each stat does specific things that can either help you in life or help you survive battles.
List of what the stats do
Str- Tells you how strong you are.
Dex- Tells you how agile you are.
Vit- Helps you increase your stamina and Hp as you level up, also helps you recover Hp and stamina.
Wis: Helps you recover Mp, also helps you make better choices.
Int: Helps you increase your Mp as you level up, also decreases the Mp costs for your abilities.
Luc: Gives you better loot.
The Skills/Abilities tab tell you what skills or abilities you have. Both skills and abilities can be leveled up and can have Subskills. Subskills are part of the main ability or skill. (For example, for your Aero Kinesis ability it tells you what attacks you can do with the skill, while your Understanding of the English language skill tells you how much you know about the topic).Not all skills and abilities have Subskills. Skills will usually cost no Mp to use and will instead tell how well you can do those actions or how much you know about a topic. An ability will usually cost Mp to use. You can acquire skills and abilities by doing quests, specific actions, skill books, or by very rare monster drops.
The Perk tab tells you what kind of perks you have. Perks cannot be leveled up, but they can evolve. Perks can either work all the time or help you under specific circumstances. You can get new perks by doing quests or it can be acquired by special events.
The Inventory tab tells you what you have in your inventory. It has an infinite amount of space. You don't have to use the tab to use your inventory, you can just think about putting an item in your inventory or taking the item out.
The Quest tab tells you how many quests you have and what you must do for each quest. Quests can appear in specific circumstances. Quests always gives you xp and rewards.
When the system isn't open you can see your health and Mp bar in the top left part of your vision. If you don't want to see this, you can change this in settings. When you do actions that would drain stamina your stamina bar will appear at the bottom part of your vision.
That is all to the tutorial! These are just the basics of the system, there are more things you can do with the system. Hope you enjoy using the system!
'Thank god I'm done with that, that took so long so read.' Now done reading the tutorial he goes to his Inventory tab and checks the new item he just got. When he gets to his inventory he taps on the weapon. Waiting for a box to appear he finally realizes that a box won't appear.
'What the hell! I seriously can't see what stats this thing has?' Looking around for a place to at least see his katana he settles on using a stall in the bathroom. 'How do I use my inventory?'. Remembering what the tutorial told him he thinks about his katana in his hand. With no sound or warning a hilt appeared in his hand. 'Is it really that easy to use it? I thought it would be much harder.' Looking at the 24-inch blade he makes a disgusted face, as he looked at the rust the blade had. He rubbed his finger across the side of the sword and when he looked at his finger, he saw that it was completely brown. 'I bet that if I were to use this on anyone it would break on their skin.' Looking at it closely he sees a huge crack in the middle of the sword. 'Yep I 'am going to die thanks to this sword. I might as well use a kitchen knife as a weapon.'
Thanks to your repeated action of observing objects you gained a new skill Inspect!
His lips began to form a grin as he read the box. Already knowing what the Inspect skill does he tries to use the skill, as soon he tried to use the skill a box appeared.
Rusted Katana
The Katana originally came from Japan. This kind of weapon was used by Samurai. Usually a Katana would not have a single speck of dust on it,but this Katana was not well cared of. As a result its weaker. Don't count on this to a lot of damage or for it to last long.
Damage- 5 hp
Disappointed by the weapon he put it back in his inventory. Once again no warning was given when he put the weapon back in his inventory. 'That is going to take a while to get used to.' He walks back out and sits at a desk with a computer. 'I wonder if the monster came from anywhere specific. I doubt I'm the only person who can see them.' Typing in 'Monsters with two horns.' The first creature that appeared was the Cyclops from Greek mythology. 'Why would this appear? Cyclopes don't even have horns. ' Browsing through multiple websites he finds the monster he was looking for.
The monster that was trying to take a bite out of him was a type of yokai called an Oni. It came from Japanese folklore. Usually they had two eyes, but for some reason the one that was chasing him had only one eye. 'I guess some people were wrong. Maybe some Onis have a chance to have one or two eyes?' Not knowing what to do now that he knows that Japanese folklore exists, he comes to a sudden realization. 'Does this mean gods from Japanese folklore exist as well?' Quickly typing in the search bar 'Japanese gods'. Clicking the first websites that came up he saw scrolled through the list of gods.
'I wonder if I worship one of these gods they would grant me some of my wishes. Hell maybe one of them is my dad.' Laughing at the thought he stopped as he finally connected the dots. 'Japanese weapons and monsters from Japanese folklore maybe I' am a son of one of these gods!' Wanting to be sure he quickly searched up the god of Wind, since he had two things that had to do with wind. What appeared was Fūjin the god of wind. What appeared to the text explaining what he was he saw a picture with the statue of Fūjin. The statue of Fūjin looked like he was the same kind of creature as the Oni, his skin was green instead of the red he saw on the Oni, he was wearing leopard skin around his waist, and he was carrying a bag that wrapped around his neck.
'Maybe Fūjin is my dad.' When he thought of that, a box appeared in front of his face that said, "Profile tab has been updated." Quickly opening the Profile tab, he saw only his title and species changed. His species now said "Demigod". 'Wow I was only kidding when I thought about it.' Feeling panic rise in his chest he felt Gamer's mind doing his job, as he thought about how his dad being a god, he felt his anger increasing.
'Why didn't my dad ever visit me or lend my family some money? He could've at least done one of those things. Why didn't he do something when I was being abused by my parents. Did I not matter to him? Was my mom just another person he slept with and left? I wonder if he cares about his other children he has or if he cares about the people that worship him.' Suddenly realizing that if he gets any angrier the perk Eyes of Rage would activate. Not wanting to kill he chose to use Gamer's mind.
Finally moving on from his new hatred of his dad he goes to Title. When he clicked on it two bodies of text appeared.
Demigod- With you being a demigod you are a natural born warrior.
+3 to Str
+6 to Dex
+4 to Vit
'Alright this sounds like a good title to have now what about the next one?"
Son of Fūjin- With you being a son of Fūjin you do get some bonuses.
15% percent increase to leveling up the subskills for Aero kinesis
+5 levels to the subskills in the under the Aerokinesis ability.
When he read both, he started a debate in his mind what Title to get. 'If I go with the Demigod title I get some good bonuses, but on the other hand I could go with the Son of Fūjin title which gives me more use of my powers.' After giving it some more thought he chose to go with the Demigod title. 'Maybe I can use the Son of Fūjin title to grind my Aero kinesis skill.'

Instantly getting rid of the boxes after reading them, he gets up from his chair and goes to the front to look out the windows, after carefully looking for any sign of monsters he walks out of the library and makes his way to the park, for the intent on practicing his Aero kinesis skill. Making it to the park without any problems he starts to look for anything he can use for practice for his only skill that used Mp. When scavenging for rocks and cans he remembers about his new skill he got in the bathroom. Wanting to test if he must keep using skills to level them up he starts using Inspect on everything, after using Inspect on a few things while picking he was picking up rocks, he got a notification saying the Inspect skill leveled up.
'Alright now time to use these for training.' As he starts to set up the items he gathered in a row on one of the stairs for a playground set. He gets the idea to switch his title to the Son of Fūjin title so it can help him use his Aero Kinesis subskills. Not knowing what to do he started to focus on knocking the rocks and cans over. He waited for a few seconds, but nothing happened. 'How do I use the skill? Maybe sitting down will work?'
He spots a bench to his left and heads to it to sit down. He tries again but instead he closes his eyes and imagines a visible gust of wind in the direction of the cans. In less than a second he feels pressure in his stomach as he hears three cans fall.Twenty seconds after he started, he stops out of nowhere. When he opens his eyes he hears himself panting. Feeling like he ran a marathon he tries to look for his stamina bar, but instead he sees that his Mp bar was almost gray. He checks his profile and notices while everything is the same he saw his Mp stat was now at a 3/20.
'Wow I wouldn't have lasted 2 seconds without the title I guess it really does help. He looks at his Mp bar again and sees that he was going to be there for a while.
