"STANNY, no..." Richie pouts as Stanley pulls the cell phone from his hands. He reaches weakly for the iPhone but Stan is holding it too far out of reach.
"C'mon, up," Stan says, gently helping his friend to his feet. Despite the banter, he's still gentle with him when it counts, and Richie can be quite the emotional drunk.
Richie frowns and wobbles to his feet, leaning into Stan's side. Bev is shirtless on the ground; it was too hot in here apparently, and she'd discarded the shirt immediately after downing her second bottle of strawberry daiquiri.
She had a pretty shitty childhood and Stan was glad that she felt comfortable enough around them to be just in her bra, drunk or not. He knows that neither Richie nor himself would ever to anything to harm her. He hopes she knows that, too.
"Stan," Richie slurs as he slings his arm around his shorter friend's neck, giving him a kiss on the cheek, "Thank y— thank you so much, you're the best."
Stanley settles his friend into his bed when they reach his room. "Eddie said goodnight," He says as Richie pushes the covers, "And that he loves you."
Richie beams at this as Stan helps pull the covers up to his chin; "I love him so much Stanny! So pretty, so so pretty, my baby," He smiles sleepily, his eyelids drooping, "Wanna kiss 'im 'n hold his hand."
Smiling fondly as he watches Richie drift off, he gives him a gentle kiss on the forehead.
"I have a feeling you're gonna get that," He says softly before he leaves the room.
