(This was not posted on Valentine's Day, but I don't care. 😂)

(Deku POV)
Valentine's Day is near, juts a day away. People will be giving gifts to there loved ones, going on dates, and comfessing to their crushes. All these things were happening to people on that very day. Except for people like me.
My best friend is (f/n) (l/n), we've known each other since middle school. She was always there for me, and then near the end of 9th grade I started growing a crush on her, just as we were getting ready to start our journey at UA. I can barely talk to her any more without looking like I just came out of an oven. I don't talk to girls that well, it's not really my specialty, especially when I like them this much. I want to tell her how I feel, but I don't know how to do it. Am I that pathetic?
I layed my head down at my desk, feeling impatient about how long this school day has been. I just wanted to go to my dorm and not have to think about how disappointing Valentine's Day was going to be for me. I felt someone tap my shoulder and I jolted my head off my desk, startled by the sudden appearance of Mr. Aizawa when I looked up.
"Midoriya, you better not be sleeping in my class, are you?"
He looked at me with a look of annoyance when he asked.
"N- no sir! I promise I wasn't. I was just thinking that's all."
"Hmm. . . That better be all you were doing. Keep your head up."
"Yes sir!"
He nodded. He walked back to the front of the class, where he continued to teach. I looked at the clock. I sighed of relief, it was almost time for the bell to ring.
"Alright class, class is almost over. I'm going to take a nap while you all get ready to leave."
And before I knew it, he collapsed on the floor in his yellow sleeping bag. I grabbed my book bag and sat up out of my seat.
"Hey, Midoriya."
I turned my head to see Todoroki.
"Hey, Todoroki." I waved with a welcoming smile.
"You have anything planned for Valentine's day?" Todoroki asked.
I looked down with a frown on my face. I wish he hadn't had mentioned anything about it. "No, I don't. You?" I asked, to change the subject away from me.
"Me and Yaororozu are gonna go to this new café that just opened up. She's been wanting to go." Todoroki said bluntly. He showed me a picture of the café on his phone. It was a really nice looking place.

I smiled at Todoroki. "Well, I bet you guys will have fun." Him and Yaororozu were always going places on some special occasions, they seem to really like each other, and they get along really well.
Todoroki slightly smiled a bit. He put his phone away back in his pocket. "So, why aren't you doing anything?"
'Why can't we just talk about something else!?' I thought to myself. "I have no one to spend it with."
Todoroki raised an eyebrow, he looked almost confused. "Why not, don't you and (y/n) always hang out, why not spend it with her?"
I turned beat red. "W-whatdoyoumeanwe'renotdatingoranythingwhywouldwespendvalentine'sdaytogetherthatsjustrediculouswhatmadeyouthink-"
"Woah, Midoriya, calm down you're muttering."
I blushed even more, embarrassed. "Sorry."
"I didn't even mean as a couple or anything, you could just spend it together as friends you know." He looked at me with concern.
'Great, I just made myself look like an idiot.' "O- oh, that's what you ment. Hehe-"
His expression changed, as if he figured out something. And he did. . . "Wait, do you like (y/n)?" He asked.
'Dang it-' I freaked out a bit inside. Why must I be so predictable!? "U- uh- m- maybeee. . ." I touched my finger tips together.
Todoroki crossed his arms, as if he was about to give a lecture or something. "Why don't you just ask her out on Valentine's then?"
"Do you really think I have the confidence to do that, Todoroki? I can barely even talk to her anymore with freaking out. How am I going to ask her out without making a total fool of myself?"
He looked down, he looked like he was thinking. "Get her a gift. That's an easy way of doing it, plus it might give her a hint, and make it easier."
'When did Todoroki know so much about this kinda stuff?' "I don't know, Todoroki. What if she rejects me? We're best friends, I don't know how'd she'd feel about dating her best friend."
"Only way to find out is to give it a shot. It couldn't go as badly as when I asked Yaororozu out."
". . ."
"We're not gonna talk about that right now. . ." He quickly stated, and slightly blushed a little.
". . . Okay then- What should I get her, what do girls like?" I asked, scratching the back of my neck.
"Well, I don't really know exactly what girls like, but chocolates should be enough. For some reason girls tend to have a sweet tooth."
I nodded.
*RING RING*
The sound of the school bell satartled me, but I could finally leave the classroom. Iida dismisses everyone, for Mr. Aizawa was still asleep. Todoroki waked towards to door, but before completely leaving, he looked back at me. "Good luck, Midoriya." He gave a wave and walked out the door.

Today is the day! Valentine's Day. Yesterday I got permission to go to the store and get some chocolates for (y/n). Her favorite are (f/c) (favorite chocolates), so when I saw them I immediately knew I had to get them.
I walked into 1A, with the chocolates in my hand. I looked around the classroom in search for (y/n), but no sign of her. 'Was she late? She can't be sick cuz she would have definitely mentioned it to me first. . .' Thoughts swirled around my mind, I was going to be so embarrassed if she ended up not showing up. I saw Todoroki, sitting with Yaororozu, in the back of the class. I walked over to them and waved.
"Hi, Midoriya." Yaororozu greeted.
Todoroki waved as well. "Can't find (y/n)?"
"Hehe, it's like you read my mind, Todoroki." I awkwardly smiled.
"I haven't seen her at all. Maybe she's just a little late, that's all. I'm sure it'll be fine." Yaororozu reassured, obviously trying to help me keep my cool.
Todoroki leaned his head a bit, facing behind me. "Look who's here-" He pointed out.
I turned around to see what he'd been seeing. It was (y/n). Me and her made awkward eye contact as she was walking up to me. I started blushing like a tomato, and I could feel myself sweat just a little.
"Hey, Izuku." She greeted with a wave, and that beautiful smile of hers.
"H- hey (y/n). . ." I quickly held my hand with the box of chocolates towards her. "Uh- this is for you!" I looked down to my feet, trying to avoid any more eye contact. "H- happy Valentine's Day." I said. I was such a stuttering mess.
"O- oh. Thank you, Izuku. You didn't have to." She took the chocolates from my hand.
"Well, that's not the only thing-" I said bluntly as I awkwardly scratched my head.
"Oh, what is it?" She asked, curious.
"W- will you be- uh. . ."
". . ."
"Will you- um-"
"Midoriya would like to be your boyfriend, (y/n)." Todoroki said aloud as blunt as ever.
"TODOROKI-"
"You were taking too long to get to the point." He stated in his monotone sound.
I faced towards (y/n) with my beat red face. She seemed to show a bit of shock in her look. But then she smiled. "Yes, Izuku. I'd love it if you were my boyfriend!" She answered with a smile. She hugged me and nuzzled her face into my neck. I kinda freaked out on the inside, but I finally embraced it, and hugged her back.
"I love you, Izuku." She said, with her face still burried in my neck.
Those words, I've been waiting for those words for years, just to be able to say them back. "I- I love you too, (y/n)."
WOO! Technically it is now tomorrow, from yesterday, witch means it be no longer my birthday *sadness*. I didn't celebrate, but I did get some money, an Ochaco figure, and my Toga wig and fangs came in the mail the other day, tho I'm still waiting on the costume!! So I'm really happy about that! I posted this cuz I said I'd post something, and also, this has been requested for a while now. So win-win! Hope you enjoyed reading it!
