It's been 3 days sine mum lost her job and made us move. I had to move schools and leave all of my friends- not that I had many any way.
There are boxes and piles of stuff everywhere you look. It's starting to get on my nerves, I keep tripping over but hey at least the house is bigger. We had to borrow money from my maternal grandmother since I don't even know who my dad is let alone his family.
I'm unpacking my stuff in my room now, organising it and making it look all neat. I have so much paint and art supplies that I can't even worry about putting it away until tomorrow as it is getting quite late by now. So I wander downstairs to see how my mums doing and I find her huddles in a corner in the living room covered in blankets and pillows typing away on her computer.
"Um mum" I slowly approach her. "Are you okay?" I say reaching out to comfort her.
She carried on typing like she can't hear me.
Shaking her I ask "mum, what are you doing this late?" She slowly turns her head and replies with "just looking for jobs."
I gently take the laptop away from her as she whines about something, help her up and half carry her up to bed. "Go to sleep now mum, you'll think better in the morning."
I can see her slowly closing her eyes as I shut the door and go to bed myself.
