"Lynn I swear to you that if he ever hurts you, I will shove my foot so far up in that area where the grass doesn't grow and the sun doesn't shine. He will regret the day he ever laid eyes on you." My dad says looking very serious. "I love my grandchildren with everything in me, but no more babies! The two of you are multiplying like rodents. You're still very young, go see the world and do the things that make you happy! Ok? And no matter what you will always be my baby girl. I always and only want what's best for you and whatever makes you happy."
I nod. Too choked up to speak. I get what he's saying, I had the triplets right out of highschool, I never got to live those years but I would never change anything, I have no regrets, my children makes me happy, there is no me without them.
While everyone else my age was partying away, getting shit faced, sleeping around and enjoying college life, I was at home taking care of three kids and working graveyard shifts.
Do I regret it?
No! Never!
If I could go back in time and do it differently, would I?
Definitely not.
My past doesn't determine my future, it only helps to shape my character.
"Oh hell! Don't cry, your mother is going to make me sleep on the couch if you ruin your face. Do you see this big chunk of muscles and sexiness? This body can't sleep on the couch." He flex his muscle and wink.
"Ewwhh dad! TMI?" I laugh.
"There we go, that's more like my girl. No tears, keep that beautiful smile on your face." He smiles back at me.
"I love you dad!" I hug him, inhaling the scent that has comforted me so many nights as a child.
"I love you to lynny bear!" He kisses me on the forehead as we hold on to each other.
We pull apart once we hear the piano stop and the song start playing signaling our cue to get ready.
"I could lift you up
I could show you what you wanna see
And take you where you wanna be.." Safe and sound by capital cities plays at a slower tempo.
"You ready? You know we can leave right now if you want to? Just say the word and your old man will whisk you right out of here?" He says looking at the exit.
"No need dad! I'm ready, ready as I'll ever be! And the bridal party just went and took their place. I think it’s a little too late to get cold feet." I tell him.
"Ok I was actually talking about a runaway bride situation, I think it would be fun, but since you want to be boring and get married the old fashioned way then let's do this, but my threat still stands."
I loop my hand through his and he takes hold of it.
I see the wedding coordinator walking briskly towards us.
She's speaks into her headset then stops and talks to me, handing me my bouquet.
"All the bridesmaid and groomsmen have taken their place. It's time. The kids will go, then you're up!"
I take a deep breath. My dad pulls me closer and looks at me reminding me that I can leave if I want to.
But I smile instead, I'm not going anywhere, my man is waiting for me.
All the kids walk in with the second coordinator in a line.
They open one side of the big double doors once more and Tomar and Rayin were first to go through it. They both had on a beautiful knee length white dress, with gold sequins embedded on the top and around the bottom with a Salmon pink bow around the waist, gold shoes and a basket filled with pink and yellow flowers! Rayin's hair is done in a half updo with big long curls cascading down her back.
Awwhh my baby, she still looks like Bryce but I see a lot of myself in my little princess.
Tomar had her hair in the same style but only her curls were natural and more defined. They both look beautiful with the flower crowns on their heads.
They went off walking side by side throwing flowers.
The boys are next.
I'm very surprised at how quiet and well behaved they all are today. I guess their father must have threatened them, he's the only one that seems to put fear into them to behave, but it never lasts long.
After two minutes they open the door for the boys and put a sign hung by ribbons around each of their necks and hand them the pillows.
My boys are looking really sharp in their little tuxedos with their ring bearer pillows, they are going to be such heartbreakers.
I read Rush's sign as he went "Last Chance to Run".
Then Ryder's "Daddy, Here comes our girl" with his little brother Blayze giggling and running behind him with his sign "My Mommy".
I blink really fast fanning my face to keep the tears at bay.
The music finally changes again, I hear a beautiful voice singing acapella and I know this is my cue to walk.
"Racing away, all out of breath
Looking above, asking what could be next

Then out of the blue ya stopped me in my

I took in the moment and didn't look back

The two coordinators, instead of just opening one side of the door like they have been doing, they opened both double doors, revealing dad and I.
Oh my.
It is more than amazing, all the seats were filled, candles lit the walkway down the aisle of the enormous church, flowers were everywhere, even hanging from the ceiling.
My father and I walked out and as soon as I turned the corner and everyone finally sees me, gasps could be heard as the guests were in awe.
"Then I walked to you

We were walking slowly. I scan the crowd smiling until my eyes stop at the alter.
There stood Shantel, Cara, and Quinn on one side in their gorgeous strapless salmon Rose dresses with their hair pinned to one side and Ethan, Evan and Dylan, Bryce's best friend from high school, on the other side all in black tuxes.

I couldn't hold the tears back anymore as I look into his eyes.
The eyes that have the ability to look deep into my soul, the eyes of my soul mate.
I start to walk faster. If only dad would hurry up. Its like the closer we got, the slower he went.

Bryce was smiling, or more like grinning from ear to ear. He looks so handsome in his black suit, black tie, white shirt and his hair brushed back.
I get to spend the rest of my life with that! I am floating on cloud one hundred and nine right now!
We haven't taken our eyes off each other since they connected, I watch him as he scan my body from toes to head and lick his lips.
Omg he's so embarrassing.
Can he not be thinking with his penis for one second?
I'm sure my face is red as a tomato with the already applied blush.

Fina freaking ly. I look at my father rolling my eyes at his smug face smiling slyly at Bryce. He can be so childish, he took us 500 hours just trying to get down the aisle.
Nikki Leonti then continues to sing softly.
Bryce and the priest step forward.
"Who gives this woman to be married to this man?" The priest asks.
Crickets.
The priest clears his throat looking like he doesn't know what to do. Oh did I mention he's Elena's boyfriend, Ronald? No idea how that happened.
I elbow my dad and he grunts.
"She gives herself freely, with the love and support of her family and friends." My father finally says.
He hesitantly hands me over to Bryce after kissing my cheek and taking a seat next to my mom, Elena and the kids on the first row.
Bryce takes my hand and we step forward. He doesn't let go.
"When our bodies grow weak, our love will
grow stronger every time
Let us never forget the better and the
worse times to divine" the low hum of the song ended.
"Dearly beloved we are gathere-" the priest stops and everyone laughs as Bryce starts kissing me.
"Bryce!" I whisper yell pulling away from his grasp. I feel really shy and he's being impatient.
"I'm sorry baby, I just had to. Imagine, I get to kiss my fiance, Raelynn Sage and wife, Raelynn Radley only minutes apart." He winks at me cockily. "Sorry Ronald, you can carry on." He tells Ronald.
"We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, the joining of two hearts. In this ceremony today we will witness the joining Bryce Lucas Radley and Raelynn Nicole Sage in marriage." He continues.
"Today we have come together to witness the joining of these two lives. For them, out of the routine of ordinary life, the extraordinary has happened. They met each other, fell in love and are finalizing it with their wedding today. Romance is fun, but true love is something far more and it is their desire to love each other for life and that is what we are celebrating here today."
"But today is also a celebration for the rest of us, for it is a pleasure for us to see love in bloom, and to participate in the union of two people so delightfully suited to one another. And to have a couple slices of cake and cocktails in the process. So let's get this show on the road!"
Everyone laughs again while Bryce and I both look at Ronald skeptically. I'm sure we're wondering the same thing, is this guy really a priest? We've been having our doubt's since Elena brought him home.
"In the Bible, first Corinthians chapter 13, verses four through eight tells us:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. Well I think that's first Corinthians and what it says, mmhh maybe it was psalms i just read." He mumbles the end unsurely to himself while flipping through the bible.
He is so awkward!
When he realize that everyone is still waiting on him to be done searching the bible for god knows what, he clears his throat and starts again.
"Anyways, Raelynn and Bryce, the vows that you are about to make are a way to share your love and commitment to each other in your own words. Sometimes poems, verses and quotes just don’t get the point across the way you need them to and the best option is just to do it yourself. These vows are your way of openly declaring your promise to one another as well as to all of those who are here in attendance today. You may both proceed!"
I hand Quinn my bouquet and we both turn towards each other holding hands and looking each other in the eye as we get ready to recite our vows.
"I could have written my vows of all the things I promise to do, but a book with enough pages to hold it all doesn't exist. Raelynn you might think it's stalkerish that I had my eyes on you since the first day I saw you or how I watched you for years. Well it does sound bad now that I've said it and a little crazy." He snickers. "But that's the thing Rae, I am crazy, crazy for you, crazy in love with you, crazy in love with our family and that's a good thing. Ever since I first laid eyes on you, a life without you never existed, it was destiny and no matter how forces tried to keep us apart, our story was already written by god, and goes, Bryce and Raelynn, no matter what happens, forever and forever. I promise to be the best husband I can be, I promise to be the best father, your friend, best friend, friend in need, a honest man, a faithful man, a patient man, an honorable man, a listening ear and a lover. I promise to cover you in the fire, shelter you in the storm and lift you in the flood. I promise to make many more children with you and make you the happiest woman to ever walk this earth. I want to bless you with all that I have and serve you in everyway I can. This is my vow to you Raelynn, I vow to be your king if you will be my queen. Raelynn, I love you, you are my forever, and forever." He tells me as he rubs my engagement ring with his finger.
I'm sure there is probably snot running down my nose and my make up is ruined.
Quinn, who is standing directly behind me, steps beside me and helps me clean my face up. She then hands me a tissue before going back to her position.
"Bryce, I don't even know what to say after that.” I sniffle,dabbing my eyes trying to get myself together. “ I feel somewhat speechless. Maybe I should have wrote my vows, too bad this won't be a 'know better next time situation' because there won't be a next time. What no one knows is that I prayed continuously for my husband, a man who would want not to only spend his life with me, but with my children, and the fact that you are standing in front of me today, exceeds any expectations I had. You encourage me to be the woman god created me to be and you accept me for who I am. Your drive to protect your family at all cost compels me. With you I feel safe, with you I feel protected, with you I feel at peace, with you I get to experience a piece of heaven each day. Bryce I love you for not only who you are, but also for who I am when I'm with you. Today and always, I need you beside me, not only as my best friend, confidant, lover and soul mate, but also as my husband." I took a deep breath, trying to hold the tears back again. I feel so emotional. I better not be pregnant again, Blayze is just one and a half years old.
I look deep into his eyes. And all I see is love, the love he has for me. "I never thought I could meet someone like you. You are a breath taking reflection of gods heart for me, of how he pursued me even when I didn't deserve his love or didn't love myself. You held my hand in the darkness and pulled me into the light. You are my light. It doesn't matter what happens in this life as long as you are by my side. When I look at you, I know there is a god and he loves me so much, that he took the time to create you just for me. I love you Bryce, past my mind, beyond my heart and into my soul. I promise to be everything you need and more. I vow to be your queen if you will be my king. I love you Bryce, now and forever. You are my forever and forever." I end using the tissue that Quinn gave me to wipe away the tear that fell from his eyes, as well as my own.
I bet all these people didn't think billionaire's cry. Everyone who only meets the business man and one of the richest man in the Country, only see him at intimidating, serious and not to be played with. If only they knew that deep down he's really a teddy bear! My teddy bear. And right now my teddy is shedding tears.
I hope he's not pregnant too. I giggle think of how were are both crying like emotional pregnant women. Too bad I really can’t blame it on pregnancy hormones this time.
Bryce raises his left eyebrow questioningly but I just shook my head.
The priest ask for the rings and Ethan gave one to Bryce and Quinn gave me mine.
"From the earliest times, the circle has been a symbol of completeness, a symbol of committed love. An unbroken and never ending circle symbolizes a commitment of love that is also never ending. As often as either of you looks at this symbol, I hope that you will be reminded of the commitment to love each other, which you have made today.
Will each of you repeat after me?"
"Will you take her as your wife? Will you love her all your life?" Ronald asks Bryce.
"Yes, I take her as my wife, Yes, I'll love her all my life." He responds.
"Will you have, and also hold Just as you have at this time told?"
"Yes, I will have, and I will hold, Just as I have at this time told, Yes, I will love her all my life As I now take her as my wife."
He takes my left hand and slips the ring onto my finger and then kisses it. It's beautiful and matches my engagement ring.
I blush! I so can't help it, each kiss no matter where, always feels like the first time with him.
Ronald then asks turning to me "Will you take him as your husband? Will you love him all your life?"
"Yes, I take him as my husband, Yes, I'll love him all my life." I respond.
"Will you have, and also hold Just as you have at this time told?"
"Yes, I will have, and I will hold, Just as I have at this time told, Yes, I will love him all my life as I now take him as my husband and shining knight." I add.
I take Bryce's hand and slide the ring onto his finger.
A sense of pride takes over. He's mine, and I'm his. He's all mine.
"Before this gathering, Bryce and Raelynn have promised each other their love and have given each other rings to wear as a sign of their deep commitment. Therefore I declare that they are husband and wife. I know pronounce to you, Mr. & Mrs. Bryce Lucas Radley. You may kiss the bride." Ronald declares.
"No need to tell me twice!" Bryce yells before he covers my mouth with his bending me over.
He pulls me closer and bites my bottom lip giving him instant access. I get lost in his kiss as everyone cheers and claps.
We pull apart and he rests his head against mine placing small pecks on my lips that are really turning me on, not to mention the pool of lust in his eyes.
"We really did it? You're finally mine till death do us part?" He asks as if not really believing that we are really married.
I guess I can't really blame him. I didn't agree to marry him when he asked until months later. Then after Blazye it took me a while to lose all the baby fat I gained. After that we felt it wasn't fair to have all the kids be able to participate on the wedding except Blayze since he wasn't old enough to walk.
In the end it all worked out, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.
I look into his beautiful grey eyes, "yes it's absolutely true, you're stuck with me not until death do us part, but for infinity and beyond. It's forever and forever." I kiss him.
"Forever and forever." He whispers back as we enter our own world, forgetting about everyone else around us.
