~[Romans POV]~
"The end." I said with a sigh, 'I can't believe I finally finished it. After months I completed my play!' I jump off the couch from the mind palace, beaming
"someone seems happy."
I turn to see the owner of the unenthusiastic voice, "it's none of your business Virgil."
"Wow that was cold, now I'm interested.. what did cause your sudden joy?" Virgil said walking closer to me
'Great going Roman now the lead of your play will find out about it. Ok don't panic make something up..' I say panicking. "It's really nothing Virgil."
"Well that implies there's something, and if it's nothing then tell me." Virgil says now standing in front of me.
"Umm.." 'THINK YOU BEAUTIFULLY SEXY PRINCE!' I internally curse myself.
"Roman, what's that?" I hear Virgil say then notice the emo gesturing to my script book
"PATTON!" I yell
"Yeah kiddo?" I hear then watch Patton enter the room
"Virgil was just talking about how much he needs a hug." I say as I feel dagger being shot into my head courtesy of Virgil
"REALLY?!" Patton almost yells
"Yep, I would so hug him myself but I have.. to do something."
"YES!" I hear Patton yell as I watch Virgil attempt to run but get absorbed into a Patton bear hug
As I run upstairs into my room I feel kinda bad 'poor Virgil I can't believe I did that to him' I sigh and lay on my bed 'Why do I feel bad for him?! I mean he's rude and smug and always doing those adorable pouty faces and..'. "WAIT WHAT?!" I yell at myself. 'No you are not falling for Vir—'
"WAIT YOUR IN LOVE WITH VIRGIL?!" Somebody screams
"AHHHHHHHHH WTF" I jump off my bed to be faced with a familiar face
"Remus how did you get in my room?! and don't yell stuff like that."
"What? you mean the truth?" Remus says as my face flushes
"Pshhhhhh whaaaaat? Nah fam just nah.." I say casually
"Oh my Satan it's true.." Remus says with a shocked expression
"No." I say trying to sound convincing
"Question, can I be your best man?" Remus asks hopefully
"No I'm making my best ma- wait no there not going to be a wedding because I don't like him. Where did you even get that idea?!" I ask concerned
"Bro we are basically the same trait, I can feel what you feel bruh. Consider yourself lucky." Remus said while taking a bite out of a stick of deodorant
"Wait does that mean you like Virgil too?" I blurt out without thinking
"Ahhhhh so you do wov him! Fun. Don't worry bro the emo is not my cup of candle wax, I rather a snake than a spider~" Remus says dreamily
"WAIT YOU LIKE DECEI-" I suddenly get cut off
*Knock Knock Knock*
I turn to the door "yes?"
"It's bedtime kiddo! I'll check on you to make sure your asleep in awhile, we don't want a repeat of what happened to Logan." I hear Patton say from the other side of the door
I shudder at the memory of what what happened to Logan.. he left his room for coffee because he was about to pull a all-nighter without Patton's knowledge. When Patton found him he locked Logan out of his room for a week and made Logan sleep in Patton's own bedroom for a week making him sleep early everyday. It was not a productive week..
I turn back towards my brother only to find that he was gone. "Ugh" I say aloud to myself 'welp look at the bright side you finished your Romance play, even if you made your love interest Vigil.' I lay on my bed 'whatever I'll change it in the morning.' I say to myself before drifting off to sleep

'Hmm?' I wake up to the sound of close clattering. My eyes flutter open to see the source of the noise.
"V-Virgil?" I say waking up fully
"Oh, hi Roman.. fancy meeting you here.." Virgil says clearly panicking
"Why are you in my room Virg—" I stop myself as I see what he's holding
"Virge.. give me that book." I say getting off my bed
"ummm imma go bai" Virgil says before rushing out of my room with me closely chasing behind until he runs into his room and locks the door
"NO!" I yell before punching the door
'Oh dear god if your really please save me!' I pray
~yank~
"Ok guys you up for filming a vid?" Thomas says
'I-I was summoned.. that means' I look at Thomas's stair to see Virgil holding my play realizing what just happened
Instantly he runs and I chase after him,
Leaving behind two confused sides and Thomas
Virgil being the unathletic bean he is I was able to catch him before he could close the door of his room. I walk into Virgil's room and I take the play proudly. But before I can leave I'm stopped.
"Roman." I hear Virgil say
"Yes?" I turn facing the smol side
"What's in that book?" Virgil asks me
"Like I said before. It's nothing" I say sternly
"So its a book of pornos." Virgil says
"wOt?!" I yell confused and a little embarrassed
"Well until you tell me what it is I'm going to assume it's dirty." Virgil says deadpanned at me
"I can't believe you'd think that I mean it's just a play i wr—" I stop myself
"A play? All this trouble for a play?!" Vigil says confused And a little mad "well what is it about?"
"Ummm nothing.." I say
"That's it. If you don't tell me then I'm telling Patton you wrote a play and we both know he won't stop until he's read it.
"I .. uh- fine." I say defeated. " it's basically Cinderella with a twist"
"Is the twist gay?" Virgil says
".. ok maybe it's not that much of a twist."I say trying to look away from Virgil's face
"I still don't get why I can't read it?" Virgil says
"Well I put us and the others in it.." I mutter loud enough for Vigil to hear
"Who is everyone?" Virgil asks
"Well.. I made you umm Cinderella.. and I'm obviously.. Prince Charming, soooo..." I awkwardly look away from the side I front of me
"oh. Oh.. OH... y-you mean? That we- I -do you? and uhh" Virgil mutters
*awkward silence*
"C-can I read it?" I hear Virgil say as he looks at his feet while his bangs fall directly on his face
'Ohhhh myyyyy goddd he is adorable!!!!!!'
I eternally scream at myself
"Roman?" Virgil says
"Fine.. there's no point of hiding it." I says reluctantly handing it to Virgil and leaving Virgil's room to go to my own room
~[1 hour later]~
'This is the end. Virgil probably already finished the play by now. He's going to hate me. And th-' I'm cut off
*knock knock knock*
"Princey I finished the fanfic" I hear Virgil say from outside the door
I open the door feeling like I've just killed my self
"It's not a fanfic it's a play." I say to Virgil
"Sure what ever you say Prince Charming." Virgil says as he invites himself in my room and sits on my beanbag chair
I slightly blush
Clearing my throat I speak "I know what your thinking but I swear th-"
"I have some constructive criticism." Virgil says looking at me
"Ok.. shoot." I say wondering why he's not mad or asking if I like him
"Well first of all what time period is this set in because there are kingdoms and stuff but there's Hamilton?" Virgil states
"Umm well I-" I'm cut off again
"Also why is the end of the book so rushed I mean take your time." Virgil continues
"I tried t-" I manage to get out before once again being cut off
"Then there's the problem with the whol-"
"Ok that's enough of that. Why aren't you asking serious questions like why I made you Cinderella or why I made us kiss?!" I yell causing Virgil to look at me confused
"Roman relax I know that you don't actually like me. Let's be honest here you probably just used my name to fill in at blank space because you needed a emo chapter and I'm the first one to come to mind, I mean what type of dimwit would actually fall for me? I'm a nobody and your a goddam prince."
'No your not Virgil..' I say that to myself somehow unable to say those words aloud. It hurt to hear Virgil speak about himself like that, but why?
And then it hit me.
"Heh.. imma get out of your way now. Bye Roman" Virgil says and starts walking towards the door
"Wait." I say unable to say anything else
"Yeah?" Virgil says looking at me
"Cinderella.." I say almost frozen in place
"Huh?"
"Virgil do you know who else was a nobody and a prince? Cinderella and Prince Charming and they ended up together. So I'm asking you Virgil, would you like to be my Cinderella?" I say quickly terrified of the response I may get
I didn't get a proper response though. Instead I just got a quick anxious nod from the cutest guy in the world.
And yes if your wondering contrary to my own words we did get married (and yes Remus was my best man)
