The chrickets can be heard all around me. The wind blowing softly through my long black hair. My blue green eyes looking at the full moon in the beautiful Colorado sky.

My only responce is another warm November breeze brushing my hair into my face. With one last look at the sky, a single tear making its way down my face I plead ...

"Eww look at what she's wearing ..." "I know right? You'd think being a betas daughter she would have the decency to look in the mirror once in awhile ..." "I wonder if she's ever heard of the word mall or boyfriend let alone the two words in one sentence..." Ignoring the hurtful comments I pull my books tighter to my chest and walk a little faster to my first class. I guess you could say I am an outcast. My family doesn't pay attention to me and everyone around me is to busy trying to pick out my flaws that they never care to understand how I may feel or get to know the real me. Over the years I have found that keeping my head low and taking the comments is just ... *Sigh ... Easier.
