My sister pulled off the small road on to the highway a big smile on her face. "I'm so happy for you Jesse." She told me with a grin. "I'm excited for myself, I can't believe I made it this far. I got my bachelor's!" I said happily. "I can't wait to go back to school, I love Ryan but he was a surprise." Jamie said clearing her throat. I chuckled at the thought of my nephew. "He's so silly." I sighed.

"Yeah," Jamie laughed "He's a handful, and he looks just like his dad. I'm so glad to have found David." She said.

"But forget about them, girl what are you going to do now?" She said turning to look at me. "I don't know if I'm honest. Probably just go become a nurse in Tennessee, it's closer to our family." I shrugged. "That's good, you have no idea how much we've missed you." Turning to smile at me. "You're going to do great things Jess." She said. "Thanks, but can you keep your eyes on the road?" I said.

She nodded and then chuckled to herself. "You always played everything safe." She said. By the rules. I had common sense. I thought. "You have a big imagination." She said changing the subject. "Yep, I already published four books because of it." I said smiling. "I'm Aware, and proud." She said happily looking at me once more.

"Please," I said looking at her. "Eyes on the road." I told her my brows furrowed in concern. She sighed. I looked down noticing my seat belt wasn't on. "Sorry, I'm just so excited." She said looking at me.

In the middle of pulling my seat belt over me I looked up hearing the sound of a truck blowing at our car. "Look out!" I screamed pointing at the truck with my hand. I quickly tried to put on my seat belt but the impact of the eighteen wheeler hitting my sisters small sports car stopped me.

My hand was wrapped up in side the seatbelt every time our car rolled. I could hear the screams of my sister and someone elses. It had been me but the shock didn't allow me to realize it. Then her screams were cut off as by the seventh roll I was chunked out of the car.

I felt the flesh and bone rip as I flew threw the air landing in the hot asphalt. The glass from the windshield punctures my skin and I couldn't see for several pieces had fallen into my eye.

I tried to move my right arm but I couldn't. It felt as if every bone in my arm had either been broken or fractured. I tried to move my legs but I couldn't do that either. Am I paralyzed? I thought. I tried to scream for help but that had came up was choked up words and blood.

I payed there hopelessly, hearing the swerving of cars and screams of people. "Call 911!" A man snapped. "Zachary go check on the driver and trucker." A woman instructed. "Oh my God," A woman gasped. A man stood over me his mouth covered eyes stinging with tears. He looked at me with sadness in his eyes, completely overwhelmed. He got on his knees looking for something to do, anything to help. He prayed for me clasping his hands together in pity.

Through the reflection of the mans glasses I saw how disfigured I was. I looked nothing like myself. My chestnut brown hair was stained with blood, my brown eyes were swollen almost closed. I began to cough uncontrollably. Tears rolled down my face as my body spasmed with shock. My eyes began to fully shut unable to stay open any longer.

My breaths began to slow as I thought about my family. Would I ever have a family of my own? What would happen to me? Would I survive, would I ever accomplish my goals? What would happen to my family? Was my sister alright? So many thoughts rushed through my mind.

My consciousness started fade right as I heard the sirens. Finally all to be heard and seen was silence, darkness, and the almost lifeless shallow thumping of my heart.
