Rayne's POV
Pain. Pain was how I could describe what I felt. Not one person knows what happens to me. Nobody. Life has never like me. Never. I want to leave my awful life and start over in a new place. Maybe a new look or name. I'm not sure yet. But there is one bit that keeps me here. Fear. I fear not only oblivian but what hides in the future. I took out the small thin blade and slid it across my wrist. Slowly carving out the words worthless into my arm. The blood poured out of my wound and onto the tile, bathroom floor. If only someone could understand my life. Maybe, just maybe then I would have somebody who cares. I looked at my clock and it said 7:14. I need to get to my class, Algebra. As I entered I sat in the back by myself. Shortly after the chair next to me was pulled out and someone sat in it. "New kid. I wouldn't sit next to this worthless slut. I bet she's got some disease." One of the school populars said to the person next to me.
"Well I want to sit here. She doesn't seem that bad to me." The voice was not only male but British too. i looked up and saw a smiling face. Slowly becoming more and more insecure by the minute. Our teacher Mrs. North entering the room smiling a HUGE smile. I tok out my pencil and some plain, white paper. Sketching out a person. You could see the sadness in her eyes. "That's amazing." The boy from earlier said looking at my paper.
"Thank you." I replied quietly.
"I'm Hunter, Hunter Willows." He smiled.
"I'm Rayne, Rayne Summers." I replied looking away. I didn't know what was happening but I had a feeling something good was happening in my life for once.
