It was a peaceful night at Magnolia. Well, not so peaceful since every night, the Fairy Tail guild parties. Nothing new. Loud cheers and vocals were heard even across streets. The Fairies is known to be those people who party hard.
Shizeru squints his eyes, looking at the Fairies' guild from afar. His nap was disturbed by the ruckus made by the party people.
"When will this end?" He quickly got up and jumped down from the tree he was resting on. He then walked back to his house.
He didn't have his own house and lot, he only did apartment or rent-based houses. It was an old building that had a lot of room for other people too.
Shizeru climbed up the stairs, at last. Some peace and quiet. He was no longer near the Fairy Tail guild.
Maybe I can rest at ease now. He thought.
Reaching his floor, he saw a girl struggling to stand up. His eyebrows frowned. What's she doing?
The girl was rummaging her bag. As if she's trying to find something, obviously.
"W-where is it???!!" She yelled frustrated.
Shizeru walked towards his door, surprisingly, her and his doors were facing in front of each other. Great. I thought I could get some peace.
"There it is!" The girl exclaimed as she raised the keys. Good for her. Shizeru sighed.
"N-now.." The girl stood, well, she's trying to balance herself.
It was none of Shizeru's business, he didn't want to be involved if something happens, so he unlocked his door and went inside. Closing the door, he sighed in relief. Finally, some good 'ol peace and sleep.
He went directly at his sofa and plopped down. He immediately closed his eyes and prepared to go to dreamland.
"Finally, It's open!"
A loud bang was heard.
The young man was startled and sat up. Intruder?! Shizeru quickly held his dagger on his side, in case of any attacks.
The figure walked towards the couch and stopped.
"...was there a couch here???" He heard the figure say. W-wait.. A girl?
The girl then dropped something on the floor, sounded like a sack or a bag. Then all of a sudden
Shizeru felt something dropped on top of him.
It was the girl.
He quickly pushed the girl away.
"Ow?!" The girl shrieked.
Shizeru stood up and immediately opened the lights. After doing so, he saw a lady (of course) at the floor, whining about how hurt she is because of the fall.
"A-Aoi?!"
He couldn't believe it. Aoi? From Fairy Tail? Well, yeah, they knew each other but he didn't know that she lived in the same building!
But knowing Aoi, she isn't the type to party THAT hard. She isn't even the type to drink!
"O-oh? Talking couch? How quaint." She giggled.
Shizeru sighed. She's really drunk.
"Right.. Let's get you back to your room." He stood beside her and wrapped her arms around his neck, and assisted her in standing up.
"What do you mean? I'm already at my room!" Aoi restrained. He grunted, was she really like this?
"No. You broke into my room and you're drunk. You should go to your OWN room now so you can rest." Shizeru tightened his grip on her arms and still tried to lift her up.
Aoi, on the other hand, she didn't want to go anywhere. It's her room and she'll stay there!
"What is wrong with you?!" Aoi pushed Shizeru away, slightly using her magic. Things got worse.
Shizeru hit the table behind him. Tsk. He rolled his eyes. He didn't know Aoi was that strong.
"I guess I have no choice but to use force. Since you're the one who started using one." He mumbled.
Without a doubt, he carried her over his shoulders. He can feel Aoi trying to break free from his grasp.
"Put me down!! Why are you dragging me out of my own room?!" Aoi started to whimper and eventually, she started crying.
Ugh.
Out of all she can do, she chose to cry. Great. For some reason, Shizeu can't stand people who cry. Kind of ironic especially since he's very cold towards people.
He then put her down on the couch. He sighed.
"Okay. I guess I'll let you stay here for the night." He groaned. He wasn't sure about this but there was nothing he could do. The girl didn't want to leave. Also, there was no harm if he let her stay. He knew Aoi from when they were little.
"Really?!" Aoi smiled. Shizeru then nodded.
Does she even know that I'm Shizeru?
"Okay then.. I'm.. just gonna.. rest.. here..." Aoi slowly laid down his couch. The little baby's already asleep, thank god.
Shizeru then, went to his room and also prepared to sleep.

A ray of sunshine hit Aoi's face. She groaned. What time is it? Why is it so sunny? She opened an eye to check out if it's still dawn.
Huh? Why does everything look so different?
She sat up and examined her surroundings. Where am I?
She then started to panic. Wait.. Is there something that happened?! W-why am I in another person's room?! She looked over herself, and thank the heavens, she still had her clothes on.
She stood up and paced around the room, WHERE ARE MY BAGS?! She's screwed. First, in another person's room. Second, her bag is missing!
"This is bad.." she looked around the area and to her avail, she didn't find any.
"What's bad?" A voice was heard.
She turned her head and was very surprised.
"Shizeru?!"
WHAT AM I DOING AT SHIZERU'S PLACE?!
"W-WHY AM I HERE?! YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING BAD, RIGHT?"
Shizeru closed the door of his room and rolled his eyes. "No. Even if I did, you'd be sleeping in the bed." He said casually and in monotone.
"THEN WHY AM I HERE?" Aoi needed answers.
"Ask your drunk self." Shizeru reached for the cupboard and took out two cups. He started preparing coffee.
"Yeah, as if I can do that." Aoi rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"You were too drunk that you thought my room was yours. Here." He calmly said offered Aoi the second cup of coffee before sipping his own.
Aoi shyly took the cup. "Impossible. I RARELY get drunk."
Shizeru sipped another one while leaning over the counter. "Well, last night was very different. That was the first time I saw you very drunk."
Aoi's face turned red. Was she really drunk? Every party of the Fairy Tail she went to, she never got drunk. Maybe because the drinks were light and last night, maybe the served drinks were too much.
She was speechless.
"So? Aren't you gonna say anything?" Shizeru placed down the cup to the sink and turned away from her.
"What am I supposed to say?" After chugging down the coffee, she handed it over to him.
"Gratification? A little 'thank you' might help. You were lucky I let you stay here for a night." Shizeru proceeded in washing the cups.
"W-what?! For your information, I can go home by myself! You didn't have to let me stay here."
"The Aoi last night refused to go home, just so you know." He looked over her and gave her a smug.
"Ugh. Whatever. I'm going home." She turned away, grabbed her bag and left the room. She wasn't going to say thanks to someone who's so cocky.

Jeez. The day hasn't even started yet and here I am, already feeling tired!
Aoi, before heading out, checked herself out, just to make sure she looks decent. She was heading to the guild, after all.
She headed out her room, and what a surprise. The same time she went out, she already saw the oh-so-great Shizeru.
"It looks like you've already freshen up. Good for you." He locked his door and walked down the hallway.
Aoi decided to ignore it and waited for Shizeru to leave the floor. She's NOT going to walk with him at her side. He's annoying.
Shizeru and Aoi aren't guildmates so maybe Aoi's day might lighten up. Plus, the chances of seeing him were very low. Shizeru was always out on missions, he was always travelling. She'd always hear his door opening at midnight, he was from another guild, and boy, he didn't rest from missions and adventures.
Maybe it isn't such a bad day after all, she thought.
After entering the guild, the place was a mess. Few people were still sleeping on the floor. Bottles and thrown foods everywhere. The music instruments used for the karaoke/sing-along was still there. Some were already awake and were already eating at the counter. Some things never change.
She walked over the counter and sat down on the stool.
"Hey, Aoi."
She looked at the girl over the counter, it was Mirajane.
"Hey, Mira. You got a lot of cleaning up to do today." Aoi chuckled.
"Yeah, it'll be hard but I'm sure some people will help out." She smiled at the young woman.
"Anything I can get you?"
Aoi shook her head. "No thanks. I'm just stalling. I've got plenty of time before doing some missions." Aoi rested her face on top of her palms.
"Is there something bothering you? You kinda look.. odd." Mirajane pointed out. Aoi was then confused.
"What do you mean?"
"You look like you're in a love quarrel." Mirajane jokingly said while elbowing her.
"Huh? Me? In a love quarrel? I don't even have someone I admire!" Aoi confidently said.
"Oh really? Then how about that guy over there? On the second floor balcony!" Mirajane pointed at the second floor.
Aoi then followed where Mirajane was pointing at.
And to her surprise, it was no other than
Shizeru
"Who? Him? Please. I barely know him." Aoi nervously said. I can't let her know, she thought.
"But he's been looking at you the whole time you sat down here."
What?! IS THIS DAY GONNA GET WORSE?
"W-what are you saying? That's i-impossible." Aoi stuttered and laughed it off.
"OOOOH! He's coming here, act natural!" Mirajane then turned around away from them
Fuck. Aoi thought.
"Well, well, look who we have here." Shizeru sat down on a stool beside hers.
"O-oh? D-do I know y-you?" Aoi pretended that he was some stranger. Boy, oh, boy.
"Oh? After what I did for you last night, you're gonna forget me. That's not how you treat other people, Aoi." Shizeru gave her a stoic smile. FUCK.
"My, my, Aoi. You shouldn't treat people like that, especially what you guys shared last night." Mirajane butt in.
"W-what?! I-It was nothing!" Aoi turned red. She grabbed Shizeru by the arm and pulled him away from the counter.
"What are you doing here?!" She, as much as possible, tried not to yell at his ears.
"I was getting payback from someone." Shizeru coldly replied.
"If it's still about that thank you, NO I WILL NOT DO THAT."
"Wasn't saying that it was your 'thank you' that I needed. I went here for the reward of a mission."
...Well, that was embarrassing.
"O-okay. Fine! Just, don't bother me anymore. Jeez." She then went back to the counter. Shizeru then exited the guild.
"So, who's the guy?" Mirajane asked.
"I'd rather not tell."
"If you say so~" Mirajane then headed out to the kitchen.
Will this day get any worse?

Aoi sighed.
"That's the last monster. I defeated the lurking monsters all by myself, way to go, Aoi." She pumped her fist in the air, giving herself a little enthusiasm.
"I should head back and call it a day."

Aoi opened the guild's door, and in an instant, she was greeted by everyone.
"Hey! Aoi's here! Let's start the party!" A guy near the door yelled. The whole guild cheered and then, it started again.
"What's with the party?" Aoi asked the person beside her, Erza.
"We're congratulating you for becoming a lady." Erza patted her shoulder and smiled.
"What?" Before Aoi could ask any questions, the red haired had already left and joined the ruckus.
Even though Aoi was dumbfounded, people had still convinced her to join the party and the inevitable happened.
Aoi was, again, drunk.
"BRING ME SOME MORE BEER! OVER HERE, MIRA!" Aoi yelled as people cheer for her, she was chugging down a few beers.
"Here we go again." Lucy sighed as she watched Aoi.
"How will she get home?" Wendy asked.
"Luck, I guess." The blonde replied.
"Or maybe we can call his prince to bring her home!" Mirajane suddenly pops out of nowhere.
"Why do I get the feeling that you planned all of this?" Lucy looked at Mirajane with concern. Mirajane just smiled.
The party went on. Few people from outside also joined. From Sabertooth, Mermaid's Heel, and many more. The guild became louder and louder as people come.
"Are you sure we're invited?"
"Of course, this is a Fairy's party after all. Everyone's invited here, Shizeru."
Shizeru sighed. He wasn't that outgoing nor was he a party animal.
Upon entering the guild, he already saw a familiar figure.
Of course, Aoi.
"Welcome to the Fairies! How may I help you?" A blue cat greeted them
"Uh, who is that girl? She's.... Wild!" His member exclaimed. Shizeru face palmed.
"Oh? That girl is Aoi. She's notorious for having low alcohol tolerance." Gray explained to the two men.
So that's why. Shizeru thought.
"Anyways, anything you'd like to order?" The blue cat insisted.
"I'll get what he'll order." Shizeru plainly said and immediately walked to the center of the guild.
"Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug!" The crowd cheered. He looked over and saw, yep, Aoi. She was chugging down a cup. A CUP. Yep.
He shook his head. He hoped that he won't have to deal with her drunk self again.
Aoi exclaimed after she slammed the cup down the table. People started yelling too as the ensemble becomes loud.
"I'm gonna take a break, gonna pee pee poo poo at the comforts~" Aoi said at the people at her table. She left the table, squirming and couldn't even balance herself.
As much as Shizeru wanted to experience partying and trying to mingle with other people, he was concerned.
Wait, what?
Aoi made her way to the comfort room, not sensing that someone was following her. This girl is so clumsy, Shizeru thought.
He needed not to be seen by others, especially Aoi. So he hid and took his steps very slowly and not obvious. He sighed after knowing Aoi's already at the door of the comfort room. He turned back and acted as if he was just chilling at a random corner.
"Hey, want to go somewhere else?"
"What? Isn't this the rest room?" He heard Aoi speak.
"No, you're in the wrong direction. It's outside." He eavesdropped. Maybe it was her guildmate?
"Oh. I didn't know they took down the comfort room here! Okay. Let's go!" Aoi then immediately walked away from the room.
Shizeru had to look again on the rooms and yes, those were the comfort room. That dumb girl.

"So? Where are we?" Aoi giggled, she thought they were treasure hunting, forgetting that she wanted and needed to pee.
"We're near, just wait." The man held her wrist and started walking.
"I don't think you're near any restrooms."
"Wh-who are you?!" The man readied himself, in case Shizeru attacks.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't MIGHTY SHIZERU!" Both men were surprised, Aoi spoke and walked towards Shizeru.
"Not now, Aoi." Shizeru held her wrists and made her stand by his side.
"What do you mean "not now"?! You caused this party! P-people thought we had a thing!" Aoi punched him countless times at the back.
It was an awkward situation, Shizeru was supposed to fight the bad guy.
"...Excuse me for a moment." Shizeru had the audacity to excuse themselves from the stranger.
"Well, was it my fault people thought of that?" Shizeru gritted his teeth.
"DUUUH!!! You were like, "We had something last night" and then people were like, "AOI HAS A BOYFRIEND?!!"" Aoi drunkenly said.
"Ugh. And you didn't deny?" Shizeru flickered her forehead.
"I TRIED TO!!!! THEY DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME!" Aoi then started whining.
Here we go again.
"...should I leave?" The stranger interrupted. Shizeru gave him a glare, signaling the man to get the hell out of there.
"Fine. I'll clear the rumors." Shizeru sighed and carried her, her arms over his neck.
"Okay. Thank you." Aoi shyly said.
"Finally, after a whole day." The two then headed back inside the guild.
People greeted them with cheers and whistles as they enter. But before people could yell phrases, Shizeru already spoke.
"I'd like to clarify something." He spoke in a loud and clear voice.
"Me and Aoi aren't dating. We're just friends." He plainly stated. The crowd was full of "aw", "bummer", and many was dissapointed, it felt like they lost a game.
"YEAH!!! THAT'S WHAT I WAS TELLING YOU GUYS BUT YOU DIDN'T LISTEN!!" Aoi was still clinging over Shizeru's neck
"BUT HECK YEAH, IT'S ALL OVER, THANK YOU SHIZERUU!" And then the worst came.
Aoi kissed Shizeru.
But only on the cheeks.
"Oh boy." Shizeru groaned as the crowd roared.
