It was a isolated road with two cars parked at the side of the it. Badi dadi and alya were standing. They both were constantly looking here and there to make sure no one is watching them. It was around 5 in the morning.
Al: dadi kuch karyie. Ab toh mujhe Manik se paise bhi nhi mill rhe ( furious)
Badi dadi: toh main kha tha mahan banne ko. You should stay with Nandani. We should end our relationship.
Al: aree uss din usne Dhruv aur mujhe dekh kiya tha toh aur kya bolti. Manik h bhi toh itna bhola, easily maan bhi gya. (Smriking)
Badi dadi: yeh toh baat Sahi h. Main toh kitne saalo se usse bewekoof bnaa rhi hu. ( smirked)
Al: toh aage kya plan h
Badi dadi: phele toh yeh pta lgana h ki voh log gye kha aur phir Nandani ko raste se htana h.
Al: liken hum direct Manik ko bhi toh maar sakte h phir saari property humari ho jayegi ( confused)
Badi dadi: nhi. Manik ke will ke hisab de agar uski death hojati h toh uski saari property uski wife ko aka Nandani ki hojayegi. Aur agar uske baad Nandani ki death hoti h toh saari property orphanage ki hogi. Manik ko itna bhi kam mat samajh. Usne shaddi se do din phele hi apna will change karwaya tha.
Al: matlab ab humhe jo bhi karna h bhout soch samajh kar aur full planning ke saath karna hoga.
That old lady nodded. They both parted there ways after discussing there plan. On the other side two soul were sleeping peacefully holding each other. Nandani was sleeping facing her back to manik . He was holding her from back, nuzzling his head in her neck.
But his sleep got disturbed by a phone call. He lift his head rubbing his eyes. He opened his eyes and immediately a sleepy yet beautiful smile broke on his face. His wife is looking adorable, sleeping with a smile on her face clinging her bare body to his equally bare one. But his admiring session didn't last long. His phone again start ringing. Irritatedly he picked up the call.
Ma: kaun h yarr (irritated)
Cab: kaha tha be tu kabse call kar rha hu
Ma: ha toh kisne kaha subah 5 bje call karne ke liye
Cab: aree mujhe tujhe kuch bhout important btana h ( seriously)
Ma: Kya hua ( being serious)
Cab: dekh tu gussa mat hona aur puri baat Sunna
Ma: Abeyy bol
Cab: badi dadi aur alya Nandani ko harm karna chahte h
Ma: ( sighed) I know
Cab: kab ??? Kaise ( surprised) aur tune btaya nhi
Manik took a deep breath and told him every detail of past few days. Cabir was shocked listening to all the new information. He was considered alya as his one of the good friend but listening the truth made him hurt. He was feeling bad for Manik but was glad that Nandani is with him.
Cab: itna kuch hogya aur tune mujhe btaya nhi.
Ma: yarr phele main khud sure hona chahta tha aur itna sab kuch hogya pichle 2 din main ki mujhe kuch samajh nhi aa rha tha.
Cab: tu thik h ?
Ma: ha
Manik said smiling looking at Nandani who was now sleeping on his stomach as he sat leaning his back to the bed rest. Cabir know manik must be hurt but by his voice he can figure out that he is happy. After so many years, Manik has addressed him by 'Abeyy' and 'yarr'. After Soha fiasco, Manik became really formal even towards his loved ones. He kept himself busy and stopped spending much time with them.
His past made him rude and arrogant. He stopped trusting people. Every event of his past leave a impact on him and made him a monster. But god doesn't like to see a pure heart turning into a stone. So he send an angel to heal him, to give him love he is craving for. Nandani's love is bringing him out of his shell. He is recovering. He is again smiling. Whenever you feel broken, just remember what's broken can be mended, what hurts can be healed and no matter how dark it gets the sun is gonna rise again.
Cab: Manik
Ma: hmm( still lost in Nandani)
Cab: chal kuch dhamaka karte h ( smriking)
Ma: always ready for that bro ( smriking)
Cab: vaise tu cab vapas aa rha h
Ma: maybe tomorrow
Cab: tab tak main alya par nazar Rakhta hu
Ma: Maine already kissi ko bola h. Tu ek kaam kar Dhruv ke baare main pta kar
Cab: uske baare main kyu?
Ma: I feel like he is also involved in all this.
Cab: ohk. I will look after it. Tu relax kar, majje kar aur meri behan ka khayal rakh.
Manik chuckled and cut the call. He looked down at Nandani and found her awake. Her head was still on his stomach and her hand wrapped around him with her one leg over his. He smiled and lay down placing her head on his chest and start found his favourite thing, caressing her long hairs. She start doodling on his chest and put her leg around his stomach making him grin at her cuteness.
Ma: Nandu
Na: hmmm( busy doodling)
Ma: is it paining ?? Did I hurt you ??(concerned fill voice)
Na:( stopped doodling and look up at him resting her chin on his chest) it was paining but it was a sweet pain and I loved it.
Ma: ( smiling) you know what
Na: what( raising her eyebrow)
Ma: I love you
Na: I know ( smriking )
Ma: you were supposed to say it back ( making a bad face)
Na: ohky ( Manik smiled) it back
Ma: nanduuuuuuu( whined )
Na: ( giggling) I love you too mani. Tumhe pta h tum kitne cute ho( pulling him not so chubby cheeks)
Ma: ( bad face) don't say that. Manik Malhotra can never be cute
Na: who said Manik Malhotra is cute
Ma: aree you just said that
Na: I said manik is cute. Just Manik, my manik( kissing his chest just above his heart)
Manik felt blessed listening to her. He pulled her more into him and place a long kiss on her forehead. They both again fell into a deep slumber.
