slowly dreading, not cursing
the future sludgingly approaching.
the burden of pain, lost hope, and lost gain.
the distant view, watching someone who has never suffered.
the first person view, of watching someone who will always suffer.
it haunts me, and will always be with me.
i don't care, it's okay, and yet I'm still the same
im pathetic, and that's the truth
I'm a ghost that you never knew
and though I'm slowly fading from our reality,
what's truly horrendous is that despite all this pain, I have no time to rest.
I have to work, or my future is at stake.
so the stress piles up, which I eventually can't take.
and that, truly, is the tragedy of my day.
