"Mumbo?!" that was what he heard when Mumbo woke up.
"Grian? ugh... I told you to get out of this! Mumbo yelled as he weakly hit Grian again and again, it didn't hurt him physically, but mentally Grian was sobbing, but he had to keep strong for Mumbo.
"oh, I'm sorry Mumbo, you were about to die! I had to get you here!" Grian said sounding desperate.
"then let me die! what is your problem? can't you see that I'm trapped? let me go!" Mumbo yelled at Grian as the doctor came in and made Grian get out.

after awhile one of the doctors came out and told Grian Mumbo needed a blood donation because of how much blood he lost.
"I'll do it. " Grian said.
"yes, thank you, we still need someone else, this is too much blood to take from you sir." the doctor said.
"will I die giving this much blood to him?" Grian asked,
"no sir, but-"
"just use me. you don't need anyone else for this." Grian said sternly.
"Are you sure sir?"
"just do it."

after Grian woke up with a hekking of headache, he realized that he was also in a hospital bed.
"Sir, you are good to go if you like." the Doctor said as he sees Grian woke up.
"ok, thank you," Grian said as he got up and head on to Mumbo's hospital room.

Mumbo was getting more blood injected in him. Grian left the room and sat on the waiting chairs, crying, hoping that Mumbo will accept that fact that he was here to help him, and that he'll agree to let him help, and not push him away.
"who is waiting for Mumbo?" one of the nurses called and Grian stands up and walks towards the room.

for the next few hours, Grian was sitting next to Mumbo's bed, waiting for him to wake up.
"Grian...?" Mumbo muttered as he tiredly opened his eyes
"oh... uh, I didn't think you'd be awake this early, sorry, I'm going to get out now," Grian said as he hurriedly grabbed his jacket and was heading out befor he felt something on his hand.

"of course Mumbo," Grian said as he sat back down on his chair next to Mumbo's bed.

"Mumbo... it's not your fault, you aren't in a very good headspace, and you were quite... broken, to say the least." Grian said as he tightened the hold on Mumbo's hand.

after a few days, Mumbo was sent out of the hospital one night, and Grian and Mumbo was in the parking lot.
"Grian... you know you've gotta let me go sometimes, I can't stay forever," Mumbo said.
"I know, I'll let you go when the time has come ok? but I won't let you go on your own, I'll go with you if I have to." Grian said
"no... NO! Grian, you can't come with me after this, I'll be on my way after I get out of the hospital, please don't come with me." Mumbo busted out.

"why wouldn't you want me to go up with you? I'll even stay the night if you want me to... do you not want me around?" Grian asked now with his head down in sadness, why didn't he realize this before? he wasn't wanted so he should just stop pushing.
