-Kisses you on the cheek when she exits and says "Love you"

-He was kinda just chilling on the couch when you shouted it over your shoulder as you were leaving the cafe
-You shocked him so bad he fell off the couch and faceplanted into the carpet
-As you flipped your lid, he couldn't get a single intelligent sounding word out
-Ended up burying his face in your shoulder and letting out a noise that sounded embarrassed, frustrated, and confused all at once
-Manages to say what sounded like "Love you too stupid..."
