AUTHOR's POV
"Can I stay at Kidzoona while you shop, please???" Ella asked her sisters, full of high hopes with her puppy eyes.
"Didn't you say we would make it up to each other?" Jennie questioned their little sister.
"We can do that at home, unnie. We don't have Kidzoona at home." the innocent young girl told her and Lisa found it cute.
"Come on, how could you say no to that face?" Lisa asked the older Kims, convincing them to say yes.
"Fine. But we'll cook for dinner tonight, okay?" Jennie said and the little girl's face brightened up.
"That requires a companion." Jisoo spoke.
"That won't be a problem. Monkey Lisa is here to accompany me!" Ella smiled sheepishly, making cute face to convince the three oldies.
"Yah, we need someone to carry our shopping bags, you know?" Jisoo defended, trying to argue with little Ella.
"Yah, would you like to carry their stuff and suffer or would you rather have fun with me inside? There are Toy Story toy collection inside, I bet." Ella wiggled her eyebrows towards Lisa who giggled at the little girl.
"Sorry, ladies. I'm hers for today." Lisa said. Ella goes to tease her unnies for winning.
"I'll call you." Lisa motioned to Jisoo before being dragged by the little kid inside.
"I guess, it's you and me." Jennie chuckled.
While Lisa and Ella were having fun at the children's happy place, Jennie got the time to ask about everything that had happened while she was gone to Paris.
"How did Lisa propose to you?" Jennie asked as they look through the ladies' clothes.
"It was her dad's company event. Her family invited me to attend because they told me it's gonna be a very special one." Jisoo explained.
"Was Mom and Dad there?" Jennie questioned.
"Of course. What's actually funny is that I didn't get to recognize them. Lisa said she made sure Eomma and Appa's table were far from ours. Her plan will be totally obvious if I ever saw them there." they laughed.
"Then, how did everything happen?" Jennie asked again.
FLASHBACK :
"Let us all welcome the CEO's daughter, Lalisa Manoban!" everyone applaud as Lisa makes her way up the stage to give speech about her dad's success.
"Thank you, everyone. Please, take your seat. I'm here to congratulate my dad for his hard work." and everybody starts to applause again. "Yes, there he is. The wonderful man who raised me. I just want to tell you that I am beyond proud and I completely look up to you, dad. You're the greatest man ever, no wonder why mom had fallen for you." everyone was hyped up again so Mr. Manoban gave his wife a kiss on her crown to show his love for her. "I have not yet told you this but you have been the greatest father, husband, brother, and a friend out there. Ever since I was a kid, you never left my side. Whenever mom gets mad at me, you're there to be my hero and save me from mom's flying flip flops across my face." the crowd fell into laughter. "I can't really say anything other than I love you, mom and dad. You guys raised me to be a woman that I am today and I couldn't be more grateful. Literally, the best parents ever." she stopped and looks at the crowd. "You may not know this but I was not a spoiled child back then. I don't have a sibling but they raised me wonderfully. Not like some asshole who wants to spend money like it ain't shit or something like that. I am thankful because my parents made me like this. Whenever I say, 'I want this, I want that', they won't give it easily to me. Instead, they will make me do something first before I get to have what I ask. That is why..." Lisa held the mic and went down the stage to make her way to her girlfriend, Jisoo. "I learned that before I could have something, I must work hard first to get it." she stopped right in front of Jisoo.
"Hey, love." Lisa smiled at the confused and surprised Jisoo but she remained still. "You're probably wondering why am I standing in front of you but you're gonna love it, I bet." she said, making the crowd laugh. "It's been four years since I've met a beautiful you, and it's already been 3 years since we started dating. I never thought you'd have this big impact on me, Ms. Kim Jisoo." Lisa stopped since one of the staff gave a mic to Jisoo.
"Yah, Lalisa, shouldn't you be giving speech to your father and not me?" Jisoo questioned which made everybody laugh including her Lisa.
"I know, love, I know but settle down for a while." Lisa said.
"You're making me nervous, you know?" Jisoo told her partner and made everyone chuckle.
"Hey, listen to me first. I'm delivering a speech, am I? Now, where were we again? Oh, right. So yeah, I never really got to thank you for making not just me, but also my family, happy. We click together, we just fit in with each other. We're super weird, I know. I love everything and every each of you, Kim Jisoo. You might not even believe me because we always joke around all the time. We don't even know how to be serious. It's us and we know too well we make each other happy. So I figured..." Lisa kneeled down in front of a shocked Jisoo.
"Why don't we get married already?" the people got hyped up and stood up to witness Lisa's most awaited question.
"I love you a lot, Jisoo. We show it by making each other laugh all the time, any time. I know when we get married, we'd probably spend all night pillow fighting. Or maybe, you could try to teach me your magic in balancing things above your head again. We would do everything together, do weird things and all. Just love me now, and I'll love you forever." Lisa said to a teary-eyed Jisoo.
"So..." Lisa took out the mini box in her pocket and opens it to reveal a beautiful engagement ring. Almost everyone was squealing in happiness.
"Will you marry me, Ms. Kim? Spend now and forever with me?" the tall girl asked and Jisoo immediately nodded before hugging Lisa tight. The crowd went wild. Cameras were all around them. Both of their families were very happy for the successful wedding proposal.
"I love you. I love you. I love you so much." Jisoo whispers in her now fiancé's ear as she embrace her.
"I just hope the ring would fit you. Please, good Lord." Lisa said on the mic and everybody fell into laughter. She took the ring out of the box and when she slid it onto Jisoo's finger...
"Oh my God, it won't fit." Lisa said, disappointed in herself but still happy that Jisoo said yes.
"I'll get you a new ring right away, love. I'm so, so sorry. I should've known better." Lisa apologised and Jisoo just kissed her fiancé's head as she hug her again.
FLASHBACK END
"That's terrible. The ring didn't fit your size?" Jennie asked.
"Yeah, something like that. I figured Lisa got embarrassed that very moment. She's so cute." Jisoo chuckled.
"I still can't believe you're gonna get married already."
"I could say the same. How about you and Kai? When do you plan on marrying each other?" Jisoo smirked.
"We don't think about those things right now. We're just spending time having to accompany each other. Working with him is fun, too." Jennie told her sister and received a nod in return.
"I wonder how things are going with those two?" Jisoo questioned, referring to Lisa and Ella.
On the other hand, Lisa enjoyed playing wayyyy much better than Ella did. When they got tired, they took a moment to stay still.
"You're really enjoying this, aren't you?" Ella asked her.
"A lot. I never thought I'd have this much fun in here. So cool." she chuckled at herself.
"Thank you, monkey." Ella, all of a sudden said. It made Lisa smile yet confused so she took the opportunity to ask.
"For what?"
"For joining me here. Even though I just forced you to go with me." the kid said and it melted her heart.
"No, you didn't. I'm glad to play here with you. This is so fun, thanks to you, too. We should do this again next time." Lisa told little Ella.
"You know, even Jisoo and Jennie unnie doesn't want to join me here ever since. It's always been my nanny who's been here with me to play with. So, this really mean a lot to me. Thank you, monkey Lali." Ella said before proceeding on playing again, leaving Lisa dumbfounded.
After quite some time, they met up again with Jennie and Jisoo and the two were surprised by how many shopping bags the two was carrying.
"You're doomed, Lali." Ella teased, knowing her two sisters will make Lisa carry all of it.
"Hi, Lali. Look what we've got for you~" Jisoo teased her fiancé.
"Hey, I got real tired taking care of Ella in there. She went all around the place." Lisa acted as if she is tired so the Kims won't let her carry the shopping bags but Ella is here to save her unnies.
"She's lying. She even had more fun than I did. Jisoo unnie, sometimes I really wonder is she really the person you're going to marry? No turning back?" Ella joked, making Jennie and Jisoo laugh while getting Lisa surprised by how she speaks.
"Yah! I payed for your entrance fee and now this is all I get from you." Lisa made an angry face to Ella but the kid went to hug her.
"Sorry, monkey. You're the best but I can't let you lie to my unnies." she told her and it made Lisa smile but gets back to acting once Ella faced her again. "Now get those shopping bags, dummy. I'm already starving." the kid said. Jennie and Jisoo could just watch the two all day.
"No. Not until you give me a kiss." Lisa points to her cheek and Ella did not hesitate to kiss her monkey friend right away. Lisa was really happy that she get to spend time with Jisoo's family. And now, she treats Jisoo's little sister like her own daughter.
"Okay, let's go." Lisa chuckled and picked up all the shopping bags that Jennie and Jisoo had been carrying.
