I was on the phone with king me him have gotten closer especially that he has now asked me to be his boyfriend
He asked me to go to the club with him on Saturday and I said yes
I decided to take a nap because I've been busy lately
A week later
Smokes PoV
Me and Dave were in the mall shopping we we payed for are items and made are way to his car i heard gun shots making me duck I looked down and saw Dave on the floor with blood coming out of his chest and his stomach
I quickly got my gun out and checked my surroundings to see if there was anyone the but there was only a black car driving off
I quickly called an ambulance
"Dave wake up man"I said lifting his bony up
"Dave man you can't go yet you've got a daughter
Finally the ambulance was here they took Dave in but they said I couldn't go in with him
I got in his car and immediately called ricaya
The phone started to to ring
And she answered
"Hello"she said
"Ricaya dave just got shot his on his way to the hospital"I said
"What I'll be there now"she said
Cayas PoV
I just got a call from smoke saying that Dave just got shot
I got dressed and dropped Kairi at anisas house
I got in the car and made my way to the hospital
My mind started to wonder what will happen if Dave dies and Kairi grows up without a dad
I finally reached the hospital
They've now told me that he has been rushed to to surgery that I have to wait
An hour later smoke has now come to the hospital we were sitting in silence
Until the doctor came
"There's good news the good new he's fine but he has to stay here for a three days so we can run further test "he said
"Can we see him"smoke said
My phone started ringing it was king
I answered it
"Hello"I said
"Hey were are you"he said
"I'm in the hospital"I said
"Why what's wrong"he said
"Kairis dad got shot"I said
"Ok so why you there with him"he said throwing shade
"Because that is Kairi dad and I have to be there for him"I said giving attitude
"Ight"he said cutting the phone making kids my teeth
Me and smoke made our way to the room Dave was in i saw him in on the bed sleeping
"I'll give yall some time"smoke said leaving the room
I walked up to him and tapped his shoulder
"Dave wake up"I said
He got up and winced in pain
"Dave who did this to you"I said
"I don't know yet"he said angry
"Dave who gone look after you while your legs Brocken"I said
"I don't know"he said looking away
I could tell he was angry and was going to do something stupid
"Dave don't do anything stupid"I said
"Ight"he said
"Where's Kairi"he said
"She's at anisas place"i said
I finished at the the hospital and decided to pick up Kairi from Anisa
I've now picked up Kairi and we are on are way home
