I HOPE YOU LIKED THE FACT THAT I DID THREE UPDATES IN TWO DAYS! MY WAY OF PAYING YOU GUYS BACK FOR TAKING MY GRAND OLD TIME TO UPDATE.. WELL... THE BOOK!

~Three Days later~
It's 10:30 pm.
Everyone in the house is asleep but me and Karen.
I have been thinking. Thinking to hard.
To God damn hard.
I am sitting at the table and Karen is watching me with a look.
She knows something is wrong.
She always knows.
I go to the living room and sit down.
I need to tell her,
It's better off if she doesn't know.
She needs ton know.
Finally Karen walks by me and I can't take this pressure anymore.
She needs to know.
"Karen," I say strongly looking at her right in her eyes, "we need to walk."
She has this look of relief in her eye.
She knows I haven't been saying what's on my mind. She always knows.
We get up and walk back to the kitchen table.
How do I tell her? Do I just ease it off? Or should I do the band-aid effect and just rip it off?
We sit down at the table.
"What's wrong?"
Oh God.
She asked the question.
How do I tell her? Should I just be like 'oh well by the way...' or should I have a long conversation detail by detail by detail by deta-
"Aubrey," Karen said a little louder, "what's wrong?"
Oh God.... Umm...
How do I do this? They don't teach you this in school!
Oh God.
Karen then touched my hand.
I looked at her hand that was making contact with mine.
I looked at her then.
Karen looked at me concern clear in her eyes.
She takes a deep breath and asks very slowly and quietly, "What's wrong, Aubrey?"
I cant take it anymore. I have to tell her.
The words build up inside and then I blurt them out,
"I am an Alpha."
Karen's eyes nearly bulge out of her head.
She sits there quietly and touches her fingertips to her lips a few time.
She nods and then says, "Are you sure?"
I nod my head quietly.
"How do you know?"
I sigh and then recite the story of how I controlled Lillian with my Alpha powers and what she said.
After I finish Karen nods and then says solemnly, "It will be fine. We will get through this together.
I smile and Karen stands up and places her hand on my shoulder and kisses my hair in a motherly way.
I smile tiredly and walk to the couch.
I lay down on it an snuggle under a really soft blanket.
I close my eyes deciding that this was much cozier then my bed which was also to far away at the moment.
And I had one comforting word in my head.
Together.
We will get through this together.
Together.
A small smile appeared on my face, before i let sleep take me in it's comfortable sleeping wings.
And then fly me away.
