Continuation from previous chap
It's been 1/2 hour since I started driving the car, along with Avni in passenger seat ..... the moment she said she'd love to meet my best friend DD I was on cloud nine ..... like literally I was jumping inside like a teenager whose wish was granted "taking his girlfriend out for a dinner date" .....
Neil .... I heard her taking my name & that is when I came out of trance
Haaan Avni ..... I replied while turning towards her
Is it possible for us to meet somewhere else in private, I mean you, me & your friend DD .... I just don't want to be in media atleast for a while .... I heard her say
Don't worry about that everything is taken care .... just trust me ..... I said while looking at her
I trust you more than myself ..... I heard her say while smiling
The moment those words hit my ears, I was feeling happy ..... she trusts me more than herself, I mean how ? Am I so important to her ? .... well what ever it is I was doing happy dance inside, why I'm behaving like this I don't know 🤷♂️ I don't want to think about anything else I just want to live in the moment ......
Thank you & yeah inform uncle & aunty that you'll be reaching home late, ask them not to worry as I will be dropping you safely ..... I said while smiling at her
Yeah I'll once they are back in town, you know right they are out of town along with your parents for attending an wedding, don't you remember?...... I heard her say
I totally forgot about it, I've been so stuck up with my work since two days that I forgot to have lunch also ..... I said while chuckling
Are you serious ? You forgot to have lunch ? I mean how can someone forget that & you're ..... she couldn't continue further as I interrupted

This isn't a joke Neil ..... I heard her say in serious tone
Avni I ..... I couldn't say further as she interrupted
Stop the car ..... I heard her say sternly
Avni ..... she interrupted me again
I said stop the car Neil ..... she said in loud voice
I immediately pulled my car to side of the road & taking my seat belt I turned in her direction, I saw her getting down from the her ..... in a quick moment even I got down from the car, I saw her walking in my direction her face was serious, I don't know what she is going to do .....
As she stood in front of me I closed my eyes in fear, I mean the way she yelled on me inside car & the way she walked in my direction with serious expressions I was sure she would slap me ..... it's been 5mins I haven't felt any hand on my cheek or didn't heard any word from her ....
Opening my eyes slowly I saw her, she sat in driver seat & was changing the radio stations ..... like seriously dude, I was standing in fear & look at her .....
If you're done dreaming about your dream girl can you get into the car .... I heard her say
Dreaming about my dream girl, like seriously ? But you know what I didn't feel bad .... the way she yelled in car, the way she taunted me .... I was surprised to see this side of hers ...... "lady don", chuckling I murmured under my breath .....
As soon as I sat in passenger seat, she pulled the car towards the main road ..... there was complete silence, why is she behaving like this, did I say anything wrong .... these were the thoughts roaming in mind ..... At the very moment I heard her murmuring ...
Ek tho bada business tycoon Neil Khanna banke goomtha hain aur apni employees ko daratha hain lekin khud khayal nahi rakh saktha ..... you know what I was so stuck with my work I forgot to have my lunch also .... I heard her mimicking in my voice
Unable to control my laugh anymore I started laughing ..... trust me she was looking so cute .... I just wanted to pull her cheeks but decided against it looking at her stern face ......
Why are you laughing ? Did I crack any joke Mr. Khanna or am I looking like joker to you ? ..... I heard her say
No not at all, you look beautiful just like a Princess ..... I said in dreamy voice
I saw her cheeks turning into red colour, oh my god she is blushing ..... & trust me she was looking way beautiful than before ...... we continued to be silent, I was just enjoying the view outside while listening to the songs .....
I've never allowed anyone to pass orders to me apart from my family ......
I've never allowed anyone to drive my car .....
I never allowed anyone to speak infront of me let alone tease me .....
But now everything is changed, I'm changed .... & these all happened because of one person ..... & she is sitting right next to me driving the car .....
Neil am so sorry I shouldn't have done what I did before, I don't know what happened to me & why I behaved in that way ..... I heard her say & that is when I came out of my trance
Avni you don't have to be sorry, infact am very happy that atleast there is someone who cares for me apart from my family. Till now DD was the only person whom I trust blindly but from now on even you're included in that ...... I said while looking at her
Thank you Neil, I promise I'll always have your back no matter what ..... I heard her say while placing her hand on mine

Hey Neil don't cry ..... saying this she wiped my tears & that is when I realised my tears
Arey these are happy tears ..... I said while chuckling & saw her smiling while shaking her head
I don't know what to name Our bond but I was sure about one thing that it is a very strong bond & I've never shared this with anyone nor I'll be sharing with anyone else ..... except Avni !!!

Later we reached the restaurant, parking our car in the parking lot we got down ..... as soon as I saw her tying the scarf I made a grip around her wrist ..... she was looking at me with confused expressions .....
Don't tie the scarf, just come with me ..... I said while forwarding my hand towards her
But what if ...... she couldn't complete further as I interrupted
Just trust me & hold my hand ..... I said while looking at her
Without thinking even for a second she gave her hand to me ..... I was so sure I've heard her saying "I'll happily hold your hand & walk beside you till my last breath" ...... I didn't understand what does she mean by that statement .....
Keeping my thoughts aside I guided her towards the elevator ...... as soon as security saw me they opened the elevator door while saluting, smiling I guided her inside the elevator ......
Why is the elevator not crowded, this is one of the famous restaurants right ? ...... I heard her say while looking at me
Yeah it is famous & even I was wondered why it is not crowded ..... I said while smiling at her
The elevator came to halt indicating that we've reached the floor ..... I saw security opening the door of the elevator, smiling I went out & forwarded my hand towards her ..... she placed her hand into mine & came out ......
Good evening Sir & Mam, please come this way .... I heard the restaurant manager say
Thank you ..... saying this we both started walking
Neil why can't I see any crowd here .... I heard her say
Not replying I was just walking towards the table, holding a chair for her I stood aside .... smiling she took her seat while I sat in opposite chair ..... I could see all the waiters, cleaners & restaurant manager standing around our table .....
Mam there are many fans of yours, we all are one of them & on top of that our restaurant head is one of your biggest fan, he will be coming here in few mins ... & it's our pleasure to see you in person .... I heard the restaurant manager say
Thank you ..... I heard her say while smiling
Avni I'll have to take this call it's very important, after this I promise I won't answer any calls ...... I said while looking at her in pleading way
Okay only one call ..... I heard her say
Yeah only one & thank you ..... saying this I got up & went towards the corner for answering the call !!

Avni's PoV
I never thought I'd be spending so much time with my love but now it's happening ..... & the most shocking thing for me is, he is the one who is planning our meetings ..... I somewhere feel that even he likes me, am not sure though ......
The way he compliments me, the way he stares at me sometimes, the way he talks to me, the way he orders me, the way he tells me how important I am to him ...... every damn thing gives me love vibes ....
I seriously don't want to come to any conclusion right now ..... I decided to go with flow, I'm happy the way our relation is growing ..... from my side am 100% sure that I love him but am not sure about him ......
The moment he said that, I wanna make you meet my close friend DD .... I was very happy ..... I didn't even think for a second, I immediately said yes .... he told me DD is the one whom he can trust blindly, that means he is very important person in his life .....
So I was happy with the fact that he wanna make me meet his closest friend ..... by any chance if I get to know what Neil feels for me & if that turns out in my favour I'd directly propose him for marriage ... & am ready to accept his daughter as mine & will love her the way her mom did .....
All I want is to be his forever .....
My chain of thoughts were broken when I heard someone's voice .... turning to my right I saw manager standing while smiling at me & I reciprocated .....
Mam Our Sir wants to talk to you .... I heard him say
Yeah sure ..... I replied while looking at him
It's our honour to see you in our restaurant Mam, can I have your autograph please .... I heard a man say
Thank you ..... saying this I took the small book from his hand & signed in it ..... here take it .... I said while looking at that man but his face was not visible as he was staring at the ground & he had a cap on his head ..... I was really confused
Mam Paneer butter masala is very famous in our restaurant would you like to try .... I heard that man say
Yes I'd love to try but can you get that after sometime, actually am waiting for my friends .... I replied while looking for Neil, he was still busy in talking on phone at the corner
Mam you can order rest of the items later but please try this curry with this roti ...... I heard him say in a pleading way
I cannot say no to anyone when they are showering so much love on me ..... I should respect their feelings ..... thinking this I decided to taste it
Okay fine I'll have it ..... I said while smiling

Within no time paneer curry & a roti was served in my plate ..... the aroma of curry is hitting my nostrils ..... trust me it was so mouthwatering even before I tasted it ..... at that moment I forgot that I came with Neil or am here to meet his friend ..... the only thing I can think is having that roti with paneer .....
Unable to resist myself anymore I took a small piece of roti & took the paneer curry in it .... slowly I kept the roti piece in my mouth & automatically my eyes were closed due to the taste & a moan escaped my mouth while savouring it .....
With in two mins I ate one full roti with paneer curry ..... that is when I realised that I was sitting at a restaurant ..... looking towards my right I saw manager, that shy man & a waiter standing there smiling at me .....
It was very awkward situation .... I smiled slowly looking at them .....
Mam how is the curry ..... I heard that shy man say
Yeah I named that man as shy man as he was not lifting his head to see me ..... may be he is introvert .... it's okay no problem, I thought
It's too good, thank you so much ..... I said while smiling
My pleasure mam .... I heard him say
If possible I want to meet this chef for taking recipe of paneer curry ..... I asked looking at manager
Sure Mam he is standing right infront you .... I heard him say while pointing towards that shy man
Oh my god, you made this curry ? I mean you're the one who owns this restaurant right, so how come you made it ..... I asked him in shocked voice
Is there anywhere written that a person who owns a restaurant cannot cook ? ..... I heard him say
I heard the similar line somewhere ..... I started to think & that is when I remembered ..... Neil used it ...
Flashback
One day I was helping him with the arrangements for the surprise party for his mom ..... & at that time we were discussing about the food, he told me that he loved cooking since he was in school & I was surprised to listen .....
At first I didn't believe him, I thought he was just joking with me ..... but I had to believe him after I ate his hand made food .... he made pasta for us, I just kept one spoon of pasta in my mouth & it tasted so good.
I still can't believe that you made this Neil .... I said while having pasta
Why ? ..... I heard him say
I mean look at you, you're the Owner of Khanna industries & ..... I couldn't continue further as he interrupted me
Is there anywhere written that a person who owns a company cannot cook ? ..... I heard him say
I didn't mean in that way, okay leave it .... I really liked pasta & wanna taste some of your hand made food whenever you're free ..... I said while smiling

May be it's a very common line used by everyone ... but why am I thinking about Neil ..... Is this man standing infront of me is Neil ? No he is not, coz he is talking on phone at the corner .... & moreover he doesn't own a restaurant ......
Mam would you like to have some juice before your friends turn up ..... I heard manager say
No .... but can you do me a favour ? ..... I asked while looking at the manager
Sure Mam ..... I heard him say
Can you take a pic of me with your Sir, I'd really want to keep that as a memory .... I said while looking at the manager
Usually I don't insist on taking pics with any random people ..... if they insist I won't say no but with this man I wanted to have a pic .... coz I know something is fishy, may be he can be one of my long last friend .....
All my friends knew that I like paneer a lot, so this can't be a coincidence ..... So I just wanted to find out who this shy man is ?
Sure Mam ..... I heard manager say
Okay good, you can take a pic in this phone .... I said while handing my phone to him
I walked towards that man & stood beside him .... I was trying to see his face but it's not visible .... I had to make him look at me, if Neil was here I'd have made him do that but he is still busy on phone .... & his friend DD, he is nowhere to be seen .....
If this guy turns out be my friend then he should know me well, that I can do anything to find out the truth ..... an idea struck my mind .... looking here & there I saw no one looking in my direction ..... a smirk appeared on my face .....
Ouchhh .... I pretended that my leg got twisted
Avni are you okay .... I heard that man say while wrapping his hand around my waist .... even without looking at the person I can tell who it is ..... I can recognise his touch .....
Neil ..... I said while looking at him
Are you ..... I didn't let him finish, I was about to hit him but before that he ran from there ..... may be he guessed that I'll hit him
It all happened in seconds ..... he was running while laughing & I was chasing him .... it continued for 10 more minutes & he sat on chair with thud sound while breathing heavily ..... I was standing 3 foot away from him while breathing heavily .....
I was about to walk in his direction but couldn't as I heard his voice .....
Statue ..... I heard him say while pointing his two fingers towards me
Like seriously ? Is he thinking that we are kids still ? ..... guess what even after thinking like this I stood like a statute there ..... see how obedient am to him .....
obedient my foot, Avni he made you fool ....
Avni he is your love, So it's okay ..... it's his right ....

This is the fight going in between my heart & my brain ..... finally my heart won ..... coz he is the one who rules my heart as it beats only for Him .....
I slowly walked towards the table & sat on chair .... I can feel his gaze on me but I didn't dare to look at him coz I know I'll blush the moment I see him .... Oh gosh how will I control my self when he is around me .....
Avni ..... I heard him say
Composing my self I looked towards him while raising my eye brows ....
I wanted to surprise you, So I ..... I didn't let him complete
It's okay no need to explain me anything .... thank you so much for the surprise, I really liked the paneer curry. But I didn't get one thing, how did you manage to ...... I couldn't complete as he interrupted me
I know what you're going to ask ..... you wanted to ask how did I manage to enter into kitchen for making paneer right ? ..... I heard him say
Yes .... I replied while looking at him
Well this restaurant is owned by your friend the great Neil Khanna ..... he said while standing & bowing down his head while keeping his hand against his waist
Oh my god, that's awesome .... I didn't knew that you own a restaurant ..... I said in excited tone
Even I didn't knew until I bought this today afternoon ..... I heard him say while smiling
Oh it's nice, by the way where is your friend .... I said while looking at him
He is there ..... I heard him say while pointing his finger towards the corner
Oh my god ! Till now I thought that was you, I mean you excused yourself for talking on phone right, So how ?? ..... I asked while looking at him & he was smiling sheepishly at looking at me while scratching his neck the at the back !!
