I'm sorry about my writing skills and if this wasn't what you were expecting,
but in this,
Baxter shall be your best friend and he's been up for 3 days straight, he's tired and you end up taking care of him O w O
I'm going off what Vivzie said about him...
Baxter, up again... When will he EVER take a break from his science and inventions?
"Baxter!!! I made lunch!!! " Y/N calls out, she had just made some nice sweets for her best friend and crush, Baxter... Yes, the mad scientist angler fish, Baxter.
Baxter, the anti social, screechy, stressed fish,
It was a wonder how he had actually become good friends with Y/N,
Y/N was a kind, sweet (animal) demon who loved to help others, it's quite funny,
Why was she even in hell???
Anyway, Y/N and Baxter were great friends, BEST friends, the 2 knew each other better than themselves!
Baxter didn't even mind her touching him,
Even though they were best friends though, Baxter barely listened to her, he would always be 'too busy' and never really realized how much she cared for him,
Baxter would be in his lab all night and day, meaning Y/N had to go down to his lab to bring him food, but she was so done with that.
Y/N opened the door to Baxter's lab, she walked up to him.
"Oh Hi Y/N, what-"
"Baxter, You are going upstairs to the kitchen to eat, then you're going outside to get some sunlight, I don't care what you're doing, just you are going to eat with me today! " Y/N said, her voice still sweet as usual, she took his arm and started to practically drag the fish upstairs,
"But I'm-" Baxter was cut of by her again,
"I said that I don't care what you're doing, just eat with me today. You haven't eaten with me for a while and you haven't slept for 3 days straight! " Y/N says, concern laced in her voice.
"Look, I don't care what experiments you're doing or what invention you're starting on, I just want you to be okay... I just want you to be healthy... " Y/N faces him, looking him straight in the eyes,
Baxter sighs and lets her take him upstairs,
The 2 of them eat... It's a bit awkward and quiet but it was nice for the 2 of them,
"So... " Y/N says, already finished eating...
"What ARE you making? " She asks,
Baxter seems to look a bit nervous at that question but he swallows his food and answers,
"It's a surprise... For someone very special and sweet. " He answers,
It goes quiet again and Baxter finishes his food,
Y/N makes him sit outside for a while as she does the dishes,
The (animal) demon goes outside to join her friend and finds him asleep...
Y/N picks him up, to which he is surprisingly light...
Y/N lays him onto his bed and tucks him in,
"I love you... " She gives him a kiss on the forehead before she leaves to his lab,
"I wonder what he's building... " Y/N says to herself, so she looks at his notes...
She looks at what he's made so far and starts building the rest of it, to which she was actually surprisingly good at,
She finally finishes and smiles at her work.
"I should probably make some dinner... Before Baxter goes back down here. " Y/N whispers to herself,
She does just that, making some dinner and sweets,
When Y/N had set the table and she had put food on both plates, she packed her stuff, ready to go home after she had eaten with her best friend.
Once done with everything, she decided to go retrieve Baxter so he could eat before the food got too cold.
"Bax-" She opened the door to his room, finding him gone.
"Uh... Baxter? " Y/N took a step into his room.
"Bax-"
"Boo! "
Y/N let out a shriek and looked behind her.
"Oh My Lucifer! Baxter, you TERRIFIED me!!!" Y/N scolded him,
He laughed a bit... Not something you'd see very often.
"Anyway, I made some dinner, so come down and eat with me so I can go home. " Y/N started going back downstairs with Baxter,
"Also, don't bother staying up all night again, I'll be back tomorrow, so I'll know if you've been up. "
The 2 ate again, this time with small chat, bit it was still pretty quiet,
Once finished, Y/N did the dishes again and left,
"She's gone now... So, it wouldn't hurt to take a Smmmmall bit of time to finish my project.
Baxter went down to his lab to find his creation nearly finished with a sticky note on it,
'What is this thing?
Whatever it is, if it's so important that you have to stay up 3 and a half days, I hope I finished it correctly,

Baxter smiled at the note,
He put the finishing touch to the heart shaped board,
It was a light up mirror for Y/N, he had put all the photos of the 2 of them on it, he had carefully planned for it to play her favorite music so she could get ready for anything while knowing she was loved by her best friend,
It was the 13th of February that day, soon to be 14th,
Y/N's Deathday and Valentine's day...
He was planning on telling her how much he liked her and how much he cared, but he didn't know how so he created this for her,
A present.
The next day, Y/N, as she said, was back, it was just before lunch time and she opened the door to be greeted by... The desk mirror thing she had finished creating the day before-
"Baxter, what's this? " Y/N noticed her best friend,
"Happy Deathday! " Baxter gestured to the desk,
"What's this? " She looked at all the photos of the 2 of them and finally found a stick note,
'Y/N, I don't know how to express or explain this but I think I like you and that you're amazing! I hope you enjoy my creation I made for you,
I know how much you love spending time outside and all and I'm sorry for taking that time from you whenever you take care of me,

Y/N looked up from the note and to Baxter, she quickly ran and hugged him, he was surprised and didn't know what to do- he didn't really like being touched so of course it was a bit awkward for the fish boy.
"I like you too! " Y/N said, she let go and handed him some home made chocolates,
"Happy Valentine's day! " She said.
