"YOU'RE FINALLY AWAKE, XIAOYU!"
my older brother screams those four words in front of my face, i tilt my head as i can't process the situation as of the moment
he hugs me first and starts crying, he starts tapping something above me like a button or something
minutes later of crying and tapping, a woman in her white lab gown enters the room, my older brother moves away as the woman starts to check on me; she uses her stethoscope which i don't know how that works
she suddenly smiles, looking at my older brother, "your younger sister's finally fine. let's check on her for the next three days before we can finally discharge her."
my older brother wipes his tears first and bows, "thank you very much!"
the woman bows as well and goes out of the room, my older brother quickly approach me and holds my hand,
"are you alright, sis? do you need anything? like food or water?"
i shake my head, "what happened to me? why am i here?"
my older brother, dinghao, frowns from my statement, "you're here because you're in a coma. it's been one year and six months, sis."
"and why am i in this state?"
he shrugs, "someone did hurt you in your school but we don't know who it was up on this day"
i respond a nod and got really confused of what just happened, if i am here for one year and six months then what was that event with that messenger app? was that just a dream?
dinghao-ge pouts when he suddenly remembers something, "i almost forgot, sis. during your stay here, there are weird packages coming from few different people."
"what package?"
he points at my left, "seven of those are flowers, one clover, and one food, like a magentic amount of food."
"do you know where it came from?"
he shrugs, "it's written in a binary code and i can't read it. i'm also too tired to translate it."
i look at my left where i can clearly see the flowers, clover, and foods dinghao-ge was talking about, i chuckle and mumble to myself,
"maybe that was not a dream"

my hospital stay got extended for one week more. when i finally got the chance to roam around the city again, i get excited by just thinking about the fact of meeting those nine boys.
but how can i even find them?
i reach for my phone first and look through my apps to see if the messenger does exist but i can't see it in my downloaded apps
i also tried to search it in the app store but when i search for 'Mysteric', nothing pops up that is closely related to that messenger app
i sighed, thinking of more ways to find it. minutes of thinking, i decided to search for 'nine percent' and for their individual names including their chatroom nicknames but then again, nothing shows up as if they did not exist in this world
"what's happening?", i mumble to myself as i roll myself on my bed
someone suddenly knocks on my door which stops me from my actions, the door opens and that someone is none other than my older brother
my older brother smiles, "i'll go to work now, sis. you can roam around the city if you want. just bring any of the bodyguards with you."
"alright, captain!", i exclaim with a smile, he smiles as well and leaves the place
i quickly grab my sling bag and put all of my necessary things inside, i go out of my room and is immediately welcomed by a lot of bodyguards
why do i need these amount of bodyguards? i'm not the president of this state or anything?
i awkwardly smile at them, "i only need one"
one of the bodyguards suddenly coughs, "but Mr. Lu said the minimum amount you will have is five"
"FIVE? my brother must be crazy."
i send them glares and a sigh, "fine, give me five bodyguards."

i am currently followed by these five men with great build, my brother's size is not even the half of their size
i walk along the streets when i suddenly bump into someone, my bodyguards are quick to pull me up
they are about to do something dangerous to the man i bumped into two minutes ago but i quickly did interfere,
"calm down. it's fine, it's fine. see? i'm not hurt."
the man i bumped into stands up and brushes off the invisible dust from his lulworth blue suit, he also adjusts his shades and looks at me,
"woah. are you the president's daughter or something? you look important."
from his voice, posture, and his choice of clothes, i think i know who this is
"yanjun? Lin Yanjun?"
he stops from brushing off the dust and moves his shades down slightly
"uhm who are you?"
i gasped, how come he doesn't know me?
"i'm xiaoyu! Lu Xiaoyu! you don't remember me?"
he removes his shades and moves closer to take a look at my face
"i'm sorry, if you happen to be one of my thousands of matches in tinder then i can't remember you"
"but it's not on tin-", i got cut off from my words when he smirks and suddenly walks away
"typical lin yanjun", i look down and did mumble under my breath
he suddenly goes back at my direction and smiles, "since i can't remember you, i think i should invite you in a new coffee shop that my friend owns. he'll be happy that i brought six customers."
i can feel my eyes sparkle when i heard those from him, "i would love to!"
"then, let's go? we're a few blocks away anyways"
i respond with a nod and did follow his lead. after minutes of walking, we arrive at the coffe shop he was talking about.
"oh by the way, this coffee shop is owned by Cai Xukun. he's a great man."
cai xukun?, "indeed he's great to put up something like this"
"i'll leave you here. you can order anything you want but i can't pay for your order, i'm sorry."
i smile at him and he leaves me once again, just like before
i look around the place and i could see that it's wide, i see four familiar faces by the counter,
Justin, Chen Linong, You Zhangjing, and Fan Chengcheng
Justin and Chen Linong are assigned as the cashiers and You Zhangjing and Fan Chengcheng as baristas, but i can clearly see them secretly eating though
when it's my turn to order, linong stares at me first and smiles, "what will be your order, miss?"
"uhm, i'll have your best meal good for six people"
linong moves his head to the side to see my bodyguards and chuckles, "alright, the best meal for six people then"
justin who happen to walk past behind linong stops from his tracks and looks at me, "you look familiar jie"
"i do, right?"
justin nods, "yes, but i don't know how", justin continues with his duties and leaves me and linong in an awkward state
i give him my credit card for the payment when linong suddenly talks, "you really do look familiar and you're cute by the way."
i blush from his statements, "thank you"
"here's your number, please wait on one of our tables", he shows me his eye smile as he politely points a table by the side
i made myself feel comfortable on my chair as i wait for my order, minutes passed and the order is served by Zhu Zhengting,
"have a great meal!"
he quickly leaves the place as i start to enjoy my food, they can't really remember me huh
i look by the table in front of us and see another bunch of men that i greatly know, Xiao Gui, Cai Xukun, Lin Yanjun, and Wang Ziyi
i stare at them for a few seconds and yanjun might have noticed it because he leans near the boys and points at me,
the four of them look at me and ziyi just smiles, i think i heard him say,
"of course she knows you", he crossed his arms and continued, "she's our first and last player"
first and last player?
ziyi grabs his phone and types something on it, i suddenly receive a text message after those actions from him,
i open it and to my surprise, it was related to 'Mysteric'
