"Blade, Blade wake up. Its time for school" I heard my dad say while shaking me.
I groaned and pull the blankets over my head before having them pulled off of me. I open one eye to find my dads face next to mine.
I screamed and fell off of my bed and he starts laughing "Can it. Im up. Geez." I grumbled before pushing him out of my room, to get dressed.
I locked the door so his bitch of a girlfriend, Stacy doesn't barge in. I hate when she stays the night.... Anyway! I walked over to my closet and grabbed my black skinny jeans and my black Motionless In White tie shirt and put them on. I brushed my crazy bedhead, grabbed my phone off of the charger and put my dad's song Abigale on and set it on my vanity while I put my eyeliner and mascara on. After i made sure it was perfect, i walked downstairs while putting in one headphone after plugging it in my phone. I pass Stacy, who is sprawled out on the couch, into the kitchen.
My dad was sitting on the counter, thinking very deeply about something.
"What's up dad?" I asked.
He looked at me and sighed, "we need to talk after school."
I nod giving him a look then walked over to him, hugging him. He wrapped his lanky, tattooed arms around me. I love his hugs, but I don't get them very often because of Stacy, she gets so jealous over me. Its really funny.
"I love you Blade." My dad said then kisses the top of my head.
"I love you too, daddy." I said pulling away from him. "Can you give me a ride to school?"
"Yeah, sure." He said hopping off of the counter and grabbing his keys. "Let me tell Stacy."
He walked over to Stacy and shook her, "Babe, I'm taking Blade to school. I'll be back in a few."
I heard her grumble something that sounded like "okay, take the little brat to school." Then fall back to sleep.
My dad and I walked to his car and we both got in. I turned the radio on so its not so quiet. After about 10 minutes, we pull up to my school, and I get out saying goodbye to my dad before he pulled off. I walked into the building to find my boyfriend Garret kissing my best friend Austin. I just stood there with my mouth wide open, staring at them, finally I cleared my throat and Garret turned around and looks at me with guilt in his eyes. He opened his mouth to say something, but I just walked away.
With tears in my eyes, I went to my locker. I put in my combo and opened it, then grabbed my razor blade and hide it in my hoodie sleve. Then I slammed my locker shut and headed to the bathroom.
I went to the very last stall and sat on the toilet, pulling up my sleve, I whispered to myself "I deserve this" and drug the blade across my arm. Blood started oozing from my arm and dripping on the floor.
I made two more cuts before cleaning up the mess and waited for my arm to stop bleeding. I finally got it to stop bleeding and I walked out if the bathroom, avoiding everybody. I hate being in these small hallways, but I guess I have to live with it for 3 more days. Yup. School gets out in three days...
I headed back to my locker to get my stuff for first period, I closed my locker and head to Mrs. Dohanniuk's room. She is the band teacher. I play the drums. I got to her room and she looked up from her desk in her little back room and smilesatme. She sat her stuff down on her desk and came over to hug me. I hugged her back and she said "oh, hun, you look terrible. Are you okay?"
I shook my head and she pulled me in tighter. She stepped away from me and put her hands on my shoulders and said "You can sit out on today if you want."
"Yeah, thanks." I said.
"You can sit it my office if you want." She offered.
I nodded my head and sat down on her fluffy chair to think.
*time skip to lunch*
I leave Johnsons class and bump into Andrew Crane. Fuck.
"Shit. Sorry." I said.
"You need to watch where the fuck you're going, emo fag." He grumbled.
I walked away with my head down and met Tiana on the 'blacktop' or whatever the hell it is. And she ran up to me and jumped into my arms and I held her like that before almost dropping her. We talked for a few before everyone came outside.
I had my headphones in and Andrew came and took them out of my ears andasked, "Listening to your dad's shitty emo music. Faggot?"
I had already been pissed off about earlier and this was too far. Without saying a word, I tackled him and started punching him in the face will every ounce of strength I had. I kept punching and didn't stop until Mr. Long came and pulled me off of him.
"Lithia. Office now." He demanded using my first name. I looked back at Andrew and his face was all bloody, but I obeyed and walked to the office. By the time I had reached the office, my dad was there. With clenched fists that still had blood on them, I walk into the office and Mr. Long had my dad and I follow him to his office.
We entered his office and all three of us took a seat. "Your suspended, mrs. Blade"
My dad is completely silent at what I just did. I have never gotten into a fight. At lease I waited till there was three days of school left. That little shit head Andrew has been asking for it all year.
"There's only three days left of school." I said.
"Consider that you get three extra days of summer." He said. "Go clean out your locker."
"I'll meet you in the car" my dad said.
I got all of the crap out of my locker and said bye to Mr.Johnson and Mrs.Dohanniuk. they both cried when I told them I was leaving, even though they will still see me next year. I returned all of my books and shit then walked out to my dad's car. Not too exited about this near talk. I set my crap in the back and then sat in the front.
We sat in the silent car the ride home before I broke it, "I'm sorry dad."
"We will talk about this when we get home." He said in an angry tone.
I almost started crying, I hate it when my dad is mad at me, it kills me. I didn't want to look at him, so I just looked out of the window. We pulled into the driveway and I got out and grabbed my stuff out of the back seat then walked into the house with my it all.
I sat my stuff down and sat at the table to wait for my dad to come talk to me. I swallowed hard at the ball in my throat as my dad walks in and sits in the chair across from me.
"Why did you get in a fight today?" He asksed glaring at me.
I looked down at my hands and said, "He called me an emo fag and then was talking shit about you, which is what sent me over the edge and I was tired of him picking on me, and it didn't help that Garrett cheated on me with Austin."
"He what?" He asked.
I look up at him and said, "He cheated on me."
By the time I had finished my sentence, he had already pulled me into a hug and stroking my blonde hair. "I'm so sorry baby. Your not in trouble. And I'm not mad at you." He said.
Still in our hug I asked, "Can we just hang out, like just the two of us?"
"Of course hun." He said as he pulled away from me. "Movie day?"
"Most definitely." I said running and jumping over the back of the couch as he did the same.
We looked at each other and said "beetlejuice" and laughed.
He walked over and put the movie in and sat back down. I cuddled up next to him and he wrapped his arm around me. We stayed like that through the whole movie. And then I remembered that my dad needed to talk to me after school.
"Hey dad?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"What did you need to talk about with me?" I asked.
"Oh. Um. I will tell you tomorrow. For now let's just hang out okay?"
