It was new years, Jean was making tea in the kitchen whislt watching eren sitting on the coach. he brought the tea over to the coach and sat next to him. "tea?" he asked gently looking at erens eyes with a concerned look. Eren took the tea muttering a little "thanks". Jean tilted erens head with his hand to look up at him "you ok baby?" he asked tillting his head in confusin.eren noded slightly, jean didn't buy it taking the tea and placing it onto the coffe table along with his. "you've always been a terrible lier" Jean pulled eren onto his lap pressing his chest to erens back. resting his head on his shoulder "tell me whats wrong" he said softly turning his head to look into eren ocean green eyes. " i'm ok" he said quietly. Jean hummed in a 'not that i believe you but i will let it be' kinda look. eren giggeld a little placing his hands of Jeans which were resting on his waist.
"want to go see the fire works tonight?" he asked leaning into he coach. Eren looked starteled "n- no thanks" he said quikly failing to sound casual.
Jean hated it when eren semmed anything but happy. sighing Jean ajusted eren in his arms so that he was in his arms like a bride. erens ears and nose went pink at this. "what are you doing?" he asked when Jean stood up, Jean snikerd at erens confusion. Jean took him, to there bedroom it was getting late anyway throwing eren onto the bed, by now eren was covering his face with his hands in emaberesment, sitting aginst the wall he brought eren onto his lap again. although this time they were face to face. laughing softly jean nuzzeld his nose prying erens hands from erens scrunched face. eren laughed softly. jean pressed his lips onto erens whom was stilly grining. melting into the kiss eren rested his arms on jeans shoulders. the kiss intensified as the seconds went by. moving there lips against each others in rythem. pulling there bodys closer still. A fire work sounded in the distance, making eren flinch terribly. Laughing jean pulled away. "Happy New year" he said smiling but eren looked like he was about to have a panic attack. Another fire work went of like a gunshot, again eren flinch in fright. "Eren... are you, afraid of fire works?" Jean asked in a joking manner as if this was very unlikely. erens checks went pink again."no" eren said in a shaky voice. Just the another firework went off, making once again eren flinch. "Nawww.... you are a afraid of fire works that's so cute" jean lay on the bed pulling eren with him. Jean spent the rest of the night comforting eren.
It was around 3 in the morning Jean had managed to get eren to sleep. The fire works were still going off he didn't want to slip into unconscious scared that he won't be able to comfort his adorable boyfriend if he woke up to the fire works. Rubbing his back he kissed his check. this starteld eren into consciousness. "have the fire works stopped?" he mumbled. "no not yet" Jean replied smiling at erens cuteness, eren ground in frustration squeezeing Jean in a tight hug pressing his face into jeans chest.
"you're okay baby" Jean kissed the top of Erens head as another firework went off. He soon got eren to sleep again. Eren was peaceful that's all Jean wanted
