ASHLEY’S POV:
Had I really just said yes to him? Maybe I did feel safe with him, and I did like him a little but I still had feelings for jake! I scolded myself, trying to push the thoughts out of my mind.
"Plus finding out that my own father was trying to kidnap me to take over didn’t really make me anymore excited. If he had wanted to kidnap me then why hadn’t he done it before?" Again, I scolded myself for thinking about my father.
“Can we watch a movie?” I asked Richie eagerly, hugging him. He cuddled up to my side, before giving me a sly smile.
“I don’t know, we can if you sit on my lap beautiful.“ He taunted smiling; but trying not to.
“Sure, I’ll sit on your lap, if you really want me to. What movie can we watch?” I said shyly. My cheeks flushed to a light pink color. "I might like it here. Richie was actually kind of sweet…" I thought.
After five minutes of arguing between Grown ups, and beautiful creatures, I finally won with Beautiful creatures. We giggled happily.
I popped the movie in and slid comfortably in Hunter's lap, still a bit nervous. I smiled to myself, addmitting to myself that I actually like how it felt to be there with him. I felt… secure. Hunter put his arms around me with a big smile.
“Are you enjoying this?” I asked him still watching the movie.
“Very much princess.” He grinned holding me closer, which I didn’t mind at all.
“That’s good, I’m enjoying it too.” I looked away from the tv only to be met by Hunter's lips against mine. I kissed him back instantly, wanting more. When we stopped I was disappointed that we WERE done.
“Where did that come from?” I asked surprised and slightly out of breath.
“I’m not sure exactly, it just kind of happened. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that.” He explained, and apologized.
“You don’t have to be sorry, I liked it. But I’m tired, can we go to bed?” I looked at him and kissed him again, this time slowly, enjoying his soft lips on mine. I felt him pick me up and suddenly I was sat softly on a bed with Richie next to me.
“Thanks for carrying me. But you didn’t have to.” I whispered, trying not to smile.
“I wanted to. I care about you so much.” He whispered back with a smile. I loved his smile. It made me want to smile.
I closed my eyes, drifting off to sleep, feeling Hunter cuddle up to me and put his arms around me. We fell asleep that way. It was nice.
(HOURS LATER)
I woke up to a huge bang. Someone was trying to get in the house. I shook Hunter, waking him up.
“There’s someone trying to get in!” I told him with a shaky voice.
He sat up, and pulled out three pistols. “I wont let her hurt you, I promise.”
“What/ Who is “her”?” I asked confused and scared.
“Holly. She is your father’s best tracker. I think she was sent to find you and bring you to him.” He rushed out, picking me up and rushing to the back door. He grabbed a set of car keys and ran out putting me in the driver’s seat of the car and getting in the driver’s side.
“Where the hell are we going?!” I half screamed. “I have to get you safe. We are going to the Casted mansion. You will be safe there, and only there I can protect you from her.” He rushed out speeding onto the highway at record speed.
“Can we please slow down? You’re scaring me.” I told Hunter in a shaky voice. I gripped the seats like I was on the world’s scariest rollercoaster. Hunter slowed the car a bit, and grabbed my hand holding it tightly.
“Everything will be okay. I promise Ashley. I’ll do whatever it takes to make you safe again.” He glanced at me lovingly. There was both love and fear in his eyes. Maybe he really did love me…
“How much longer till we get there?” I asked him, bored.
“A couple hours maybe, if you want to sleep you can. I have blankets in the back if you get cold.” He looked at me with such kindness I couldn’t help but smile.
I grabbed a blanket out of the backseat and laid myself sown on the soft seats with my head in Hunter's lap. I fell asleep right away.
I woke to Hunter shaking me lightly “We’re here babe, are you ready to meet some new people?” he asked quietly. I sat up and looked at the huge house. It was amazing.
“Yeah, but I look like shit. I can’t meet a royal council looking like this!” I told him. I was so nervous about meeting these people, who probably knew me more then I knew them.
“You look beautiful no matter what. They will love you. And trust me you wont be alone, you have me!” he told me with a big grin. He got out of the car and walked around opening the door and picking me up once again, into this huge mystery place.
We walked inside of the huge wooden door, well Hunter walked, I was carried. Right away we heard people arguing over what seemed to be me…
“We can’t let her stay here! That puts all of us in danger!” A young male voice shouted in dismay.
“She is welcome here! It’s the only way Prince Hunter can protect her from her father and Jake!” A woman cued in. They sounded angry.
And Prince Hunter? I was so confused. We walked through yet another set of wooden doors that led into a huge room with thrones at the very end. It was lit up with sparkling lights. It was beautiful.
The room got quiet as Hunter entered the room with me in his arms. It seemed like everyone was staring at me.
“Welcome you two, we are glad you’re here!” Said the woman in one of the biggest thrones.
“Hello Brylee. Thank you for letting us stay here.” He looked at her with thanks. This should be a fun stay… I thought to myself.
“This is Ashley I presume?” Brylee asked giving me a look of curiosity. I knew she had to be the one in charge, because she was the only one talking out of everyone in the room.
“Yes, I’m Ashley.” I told her talking for the first time.
“I know it’s going to seem crazy here. Hunter has to tell you a few things about what is going to happen. Rob will show you to your room. Please make yourself comfortable.” Brylee explain with a bright welcoming smile.
Rob was a tall muscular young man with blonde hair and golden brown eyes. His mucles seemed to almost rip his shirt off. I could tell he was the one that didn’t want me here. Rob looked at me with such hatred I almost gasped.
“Hi, I’m rob… I’ll take you to your room.” He said in a bored voice. Hunter and I followed him though a long hallway with doors on each side. At the end of the hallway rob stopped and pointed to the door at the end.
“This is your room…” He told us and walked away, going the same way he cam come before.
“I know I have things to tell you so lets start right away. Please don’t be scared at what I’m going to tell you.” He looked at me with gentle eyes. We walked inside the room, the door heavy.
Inside was a huge bed, a tv, a laptop, and a master bathroom. Richie sat on the bed next to me.
“Ashley, there’s things that are going to change about you. While you’re here your body will adapt to vampire ways, and you will begin changing to a vampire. It could be fatal, because your body might not be strong enough to handle the venom. If something goes wrong I may have to bite you…” Hunter explained looking at me. He held my hand and watched me take it all in. I was shocked.
“Did you just say, that I’m going to become a fully developed vampire? And that I could die?” I questioned him in shock. A loud crash sounded down the hallway, fading as it continued further down.
“Yes, I did. I estimate that you will start turning tonight, possibly tomorrow. You will be in a lot of pain. But don’t worry; I’ll be here with you the whole time.” He looked at me gently. I loved his eyes; they made me want to be with him forever.
“I guess I should ask to look around before the pain starts then. Am I able to look around or do I have to have someone be with me?” I looked at him waiting for an answer that never came. Hunter didn’t hesitate to pick me up bridal style and start to show me around the castle which by the end of the night I knew had 68 bedrooms, one grand ballroom, stables, 5 training rooms, the throne room, a prison, and 2 dining tables which were really just there for show.

“This place is amazing. I think I might like it here.” I smiled a little. Hunter smiled back and kissed me softly. I kissed him back enjoying the kiss.
Suddenly I fell to the ground as an immense pain shot through my entire body. I screamed as if I was being killed right then and there. The pain continued, getting stronger and stronger. I screamed until I could no longer bear the pain, the next thing I knew I was blacked out.
