"Kaycee did nothing! H'wag niyo siyang sisihin!"
"Walang ginawa ang pamangkin ko!"
"You liars! She killed Edmund!"
"Order! Settle down and maintain decorum of the court." The judge says, and then both parties, although hesitant, settled down.
I stared at the whole spectrum tiredly. I have never felt so exhausted in my whole life. I felt so parched and weary. I stared at Cassandra, fuming mad. Hindi pa nagalit ang kapatid ko ng sobra. But now seeing her like this makes me want to tell her that it's pointless.
"Members of the jury, have you reached a verdict?"
I closed my eyes.
"Yes, your Honor, we have."
The judge then paused for a brief silence, "Members of the Jury, on the Case of Kaycee Monroe being the murderer of Edmund Del Rosario, what do you say?"
"GUILTY, YOUR HONOR."
How did it come to this, I wonder.
