After a weeklong thanksgiving break, classes had resumed once again as the guys walk
through the halls.
"Ugh it is way too early for class, I just want to stay in bed and sleep in," John said.
"Come on John it ain't that bad," Marcus said.
John sighs and whines as Javik walks up behind them wearing a long sleeve shirt and a
hoodie.
"You know Javik sooner or later everyone is gonna notice your sun burn you might as
well get it over with," John said.
"Maybe but still I feel ridiculous," Javik said.
"Come on it ain't that bad everyone gets sun burn every now and then especially in
Lionel Square District," Marcus said.
"Fine you have a point" Javik said.
As he pulled his hoodie down showing that his skin was a bit darker than before.
"So how long does that sun burn usually last anyways I hear for vampires your sun
burns go away as quickly as they come," John said.
"It'll last for about a few days after that my skin will go back to normal," Javik said.
"Man I wish my skin would do that when I get sun burn," John said as they bell rang.
"Shoot that's the bell I'll see you guys later," Marcus said as he rushed away.
"See ya," John said as he and Javik went to their own classes as well.
Throughout the day, the guys and the girls sat through their class lectures taking notes
as best they can but in one class, Derrick just sat in his seat reading through a book
about Succubus's he kept flipping through the pages as if he was looking for something,
but he then stopped on one page as he smiled and whispered,
"Hmm now this is something that'll work."
Later that afternoon, at lunch Marcus and the others where in the club room eating their
lunch.
"I gotta say Javik that's a nice look for you," Ripley said.
"I hate it, it kind of makes my skin itch a bit," Javik said.
"Oh trust me I know that feeling Javik," Xian Mei said.
Marcus finished chewing his food before he spoke,
"So how was all of your thanksgiving breaks?" Marcus asked.
"It was amazing my mom took me and my dad to visit her brothers and sisters in Odette
Central City it was awesome," Ripley said.
"Sounds pretty awesome how about you Xian Mei how was it for you?" Marcus asked.
"It was okay the weather was nice and cool, so it wasn't all bad you know," Xian Mei
said.
"I bet especially for someone in your case how about you Javik how did yours go,"
Marcus asked.
"Well besides the whole sunburn it was nice it was really nice seeing my family together
once again it really made me feel happy, but I really missed you guys," Javik said.
"And we missed you as well Javik," Ripley said.
"How about you John you do anything for thanksgiving," Marcus said.
"It was basically the same thing as every year we sit down at the table together and
after we're done eating all the adults just drink together you know same old same old
like that one time you came over to my house for thanksgiving Marcus," John said.
"Oh yeah I remember man your family was really drunk the next morning," Marcus said.
"Yeah exactly so basically it's the same," John said
"Well what about you two huh," Ripley asked looking at Marcus and Blu.
"Yeah how was your thanksgiving you two?" Xian Mei said.
They both blush,
"W—well it was fun we and Blu cooked a meal together we even planted some seeds in
the green house and most of the other days we just watched some movies together,"
Marcus said.
"Oh so you guys Netflix and chilled then," Ripley said.
"Ripley!" Blu shouted as her face was blushing red.
"What I'm only teasing you," she chuckled.
"Still though it sounded like you two have a great break," Xian Mei said.
"We did and I'm glad she decided to stay it really would've felt lonely if she didn't,"
Marcus said smiling at Blu.
"Aww isn't that sweet," Ripley said.
"A—anyways Marcus didn't you have something important for today's meeting," Blu
said.
"R—right um," Marcus gets up as he walks to the board writing on it,
"So we all know how we see Demi humans right but what we don't see is how they see
themselves out of everyone tell me have you guys always felt like out of place form
everyone else like you always felt like you didn't belong," Marcus said as everyone
stayed quiet,
"So what I'm going to do is have you all write down a short essay it doesn't have to be
long it can be as long as you want it to be about how you feel being different from
everyone else that way we can all come together and find a way to solve that problem
sound good," Marcus said as John raised his hand.
"Umm what about if we aren't Demi humans," John asked.
"Well then right about how it felt knowing you were born a human and your sister was
born a demi human" Marcus said.
"Hm alright," John said.
"And that's all for today's meeting guys you're free to go home," Marcus said as they all
packed their bags and they exited the room.
On the way outside the girls talked with one another,
"I gotta admit Marcus has the right idea about this assignment he's giving us," Xian Mei
said.
"Tell me about it he really does find Demi humans interesting doesn't he," Blu said.
"He probably finds you more interesting Blu," Ripley said.
Blu blushed red,
"Oh shut up Ripley," Blu said as she giggled.
"Oh shoot I forgot my journal umm I'll catch up to you guys in a bit," Ripley said as she
headed back.
The guys walked to the parking lot as Marcus looked into his bag for the keys to the
truck.
"Dammit I forgot the keys," Marcus said.
"Don't worry I'll go get them I have to go to the restroom anyways I'll be back guys,"
Javik said as he ran back inside.
Back inside Ripley comes out of the club room with her journal in her hands,
"Man I can't believe I almost forgot this luckily I remembered," Ripley said as she then
heard a voice behind her.
"Well, well, well if it isn't the orange haired Succubus, just the girl I was looking for,"
Derrick said.
"I have a name you know," Ripley said.
"Yeah I don't really care," Derrick got closer to Ripley pinning her against the wall.
"Wha—what are you, what do you want?" Ripley asked.
"Oh nothing really just a few drops of your blood, don't worry it's not for me I'm just
working on a little project so to say and to complete it, I need some of your blood so
what do you say," Derrick said.
Ripley looked at Derrick a bit scared as she looked into his eyes firmly.
"No,"
"I'm sorry what did you just say," Derrick said.
"I said no, I'm not giving you any of my blood you weirdo, I don't care what it is you need
it for you aren't taking my blood now if you excuse me," Ripley said as she tried to walk
away but Derrick grabbed her by her arm tightly.
"I really tried to make this easy for you, but you just had to make things hard huh," he
looked at Ripley as his eye glow a yellowish red color,
"If you won't give me your blood then I'll have to take it by force," Derrick said as he
smiled showing his fangs.
"N—no get away from me," Ripley said as she tried to push him away, but Derrick threw
her on the ground as he grabbed her by the arms pinning her down to the ground.
"Quit squirming it'll only make things difficult," Derrick said as he moved down lower
towards Ripley's neck as he opened his mouth a bit revealing his fangs, but then
someone comes up behind, pulled him off of Ripley, and throw him across the hall.
Ripley pants as she places her hand on her neck making sure Derrick didn't bite her as
she then looks up seeing Javik.
"Ripley are you okay," Javik asked.
Ripley blushed a bit red, "I—I am now thanks to you."
Derrick finally got up,
"Huh well look at this, the Succubus has her own little Vampire bodyguard, come now
just move out of the way all I want is a little blood you of all people should understand."
"No I won't, I won't let you lay a single finger or fang on her if you want her you have to
get through me to do it," Javik said as Ripley looked at Javik as her heart skipped a
beat.
"Fine then, I'm good with doing things the hard way," Derrick said as she rushed
towards Javik trying to punch him, but Javik continued to dodge all of Derrick's punches
until he grabbed Derrick by the arm and bang him against the wall pushing him back.
Derrick stands up popping his shoulders and his neck,
"You're good I'll give you that, but not good enough."
He once again rushed towards Javik, punching him in the stomach and across his face
as he falls to the ground.
Javik laid on the ground in a bit of pain as Derrick rushed towards him, but Javik quickly
kicked him in the stomach and tripped him making him fall on the ground.
Javik got up as he stepped on Derrick's chest,
"If I ever see you anywhere near Ripley or any of my friends again, you'll be dealing with
me," as he let him go and walked towards Ripley, helping her up as they walk out of the
building.
Derrick got up slowly as he smiled, "Finally someone who knows how to fight, but this is
only just a warm-up."
Later that night after they had explained the whole situation to their friends they were
shocked,
"I can't believe Derrick wanted to suck your blood of all the things he would do to do
something like that has just gone too far," Xian Mei said.
"Don't worry, I think after what Javik did I don't think he'll even think of coming near me
again, I—I have to say Javik looked amazing when he was fighting Derrick, he was so
strong and s—so fast and v—very handsome," Ripley said.
"Oooo someone has a crush on a vampire," Blu said.
"What n—no I don't," Ripley said.
"Oh I don't know, but I think you do you were just daydreaming about him," Blu teased.
"Oh shut up I'm going to my room," Ripley said as she blushed red as she walked up
the stairs.
Back at the guys house, Javik had explained the whole situation of what happened.
"Why that little bastard he was seriously gonna take her blood by force you serious,"
John said.
"Very serious I heard her with my own ears," Javik said.
"What bothers me more is why did he want her blood so bad that he would resort to
taking her blood by using his fangs," Marcus said.
"I duno, but whatever it is it's not good we have to keep a closer eye on him," Javik said.
"I agree whatever he's planning it can't be good," Marcus said as he looked out the
window looking across to the girls house.
Across town in Derrick's home he limps to his room slowly as he throws his bag on the
floor.
"Dangit, I was so close, so close if that guy didn't stick his nose where It didn't belong
that Succubus's blood would be in my hands now," Derrick sighs.
"I'll have to think of a way to get her blood another different way without her blood, I
can't complete the potion I'll get her blood one way or another and then soon Blu's heart
will belong to me and only me," Derrick said as he smiled as snow began to fall upon
the ground.
As Derrick lays in bed thinking a new plan.
