So two months in and Grace had blown up.
Randy and herself were in a baby store looking for baby clothes as well as non-toxic and fume-free paints for the nursery
Randy was looking at toys while she was at the paint shelf and she didn't see him pull out his phone and take a few pictures of her, because her baby bump had gotten bigger and she was beautiful
@RandyOrton You'll always be the biggest blessing in my life @GraceOrton and now we're welcoming another blessing in a few months ❤🔐 #soblessed #daddytobe
Randy couldn't believe it. He looked at Grace as she held two swatches of paint next to each other and compared them. He wondered how someone doing an action as little as comparing paint swatches could be so beautiful
"Is that your girl man?"
Randy snapped out of his reverie as he heard another voice next to him and he stared at the other man who was looking at Grace
"Yeah, that's my wife," Randy replied carefully
"Mine's over there watching onsies," he replied and Randy looked over to the blonde haired woman and smiled, relaxing
"She's beautiful my dude," the man told Randy, looking at Grace and Randy nodded
"I know she is. She's the best thing to ever happen to me," Randy replied truthfully, after losing Samantha and basically Alanna, Grace was always there for him, especially when he thought he didn't have anyone to fall back on, Grace was there. His biggest blessing.
"Babe? Purple or green?" Grace asked Randy with the cutest frown on her face as she stared at the swatches
"Duty calls," Randy said to the man and walked over to where Grace was and looked at the swatches of paint and hummed
They had decided to not do the traditional colours of blue or pink, instead, they were more leaning to a purple or green hue, depending on the gender of their baby, which they would find out two months from now
Randy wrapped his arms around Grace from behind as she looked at the rest of paint swatches
"If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?" He sang softly into her ear and she hummed and closed her eyes
They were in the car and as usual Randy's free hand was cupping her thigh as he drove. She had a hand on his and another on her stomach, making slow, small circles as she stared out the window
Randy pursed his lips as he thought and glanced at Grace from the corner of his eyes and then he let out a breath
"So what do you want from Europe next week?" Randy asked and Grace snapped her head to look at him
"Europe?" Grace asked and Randy bit his lip
"Yeah so uh, Hunter called earlier, Del Rio pulled off the card so I'm in a match with Punk instead," he replied and Grace stared at him
"You were supposed to be on break until next month," she stated calmly and Randy sighed
"Work needs me Grace," he said in reply and she turned to him, pregnancy hormones driving her
"Work needs you huh? And what about me Randy? I'm pregnant, you don't think I need you to?" She asked and Randy sighed
"Baby girl, I'm only gonna be gone for a month," he tried appeasing her
"It's never just a month Randy, a month turns into two and then it becomes an European tour and then you go to Saudi Arabia, Randy, don't you get it?" Grace asked, putting her hand on her head in annoyance
"Baby-" Randy tried
"I need you Randy, I can't do this without you," Grace admitted and Randy pulled into the driveway and leaned back and looked at Grace then he sighed and got out of the car, closing the door and Grace felt tears brim her eyes
Then he walked around the front and came over to her side of the car, pulled open the door and carefully took her out, bridal style
She held on around his neck and looked at him in confusion, Randy held her so lovingly, like if she was a precious glass
He carried her straight to the bedroom and laid her down gently, he took her hand and pressed a gentle kiss to it
"You think I don't want to be here with you babe? You think I don't want to be here to see you blossom?" Randy asked, squinting his eyes
"Grace, it's all I want, if I could stay at home and stare at you all day? I would in a heart beat." He promised and she smiled at him
"But you know how the job goes Grace, you can't work these 12 months but I can and I'm gonna make sure we have everything we need baby," Randy told her
"I know Rand, but I'm scared," Grace said, looking down at her lap
"You don't think I'm scared to Grace?" Randy asked, putting his hand on Grace's
"Baby, I messed up being a dad to Alanna, I don't even see her anymore, Sam made sure of that. Babe, this baby is gonna come, will I be a good dad? I don't know, will I be enough for you and for that baby? I don't know. Baby I'm so scared," Randy admitted and Grace frowned
"But I know everything's gonna be okay, know why?" He asked and she hummed, resting her head on the crook of his neck and shoulder
"Cuz I got the best wife in the world." He stated firmly, pressing a kiss to her temple
"I feel like I can do anything." He finished and she looked up into her husband's stunning blue eyes
"I know I can do anything, as long as I have you." She replied and Randy smiled at her
"We'll get through this Grace, no matter the odds, we'll make it, for junior," Randy said, hand on her belly
Grace looked at this wonderful man and leaned closer to him
"I love you," she said and pecked his lips, he smiled and licked them
"I love you too," he replied, pushing her gently on her back and hovering over her, mindful of her baby bump as he leaned in to kiss her again
-A Week Later-
Grace was on the couch, looking at the television set. She was in a white long sleeve top and grey pajama bottoms
She watched the TV where they had just announced Randy's match against CM Punk
Grace was waiting patiently until she could see her husband's match. Randy was dominating the match and Grace couldn't be prouder as Randy hit the rope DDT and Grace put her hand on her baby bump
"See that handsome man bubba?" She asked softly, rubbing her stomach
"That's your daddy, the tanned one with the badass tattoos and icy blue eyes, that's the man who's gonna protect you like the little princess or prince you are," Grace said lovingly
At the sound of her voice, Grace gasped as she felt little movements in her stomach and she smiled widely, tears brimming her eyes
"My little baby," she said in awe and filled with love
Finally things felt perfect. She felt little movements of her healthy baby and she had a wonderful, loving husband who loved her more than anything else, she was a lucky woman.
