There was a man,
A respectable figure,
An elite who was exceedingly clever.
And the woman,
An island girl -
A free-spirit,
Young and uncontrollable.
But when they met,
Her heart rashly dashed into the centre of his focus;
Her eyes sparkled in admiration.
And the soul,
Sunk deeply into the mysterious ocean,
Waiting to be found,
In the next sunrise.
